The slip with the Tengu is sickening to see. Thread isn't straight, loopy unfinished in like 3 spots and just plain horrible. The watch, not surprised, for 20 bucks. I think the biggest "win" is the wallet, not that its stellar. Its basic and does do the job it was intended, minus the gimmicky edc tools. I do have one question though, that SOG scissor multi, are they stout enough? I've eyeballed them for awhile and had considered buying one for any heavier scissor work I may have, that my Charge TTI+ or SAK can't handle.

weird how bottle openers are even an addition or selling point, any drinker worth their salt will be able to open a beer with nearly anything. Bic lighters are the easiest and cheapest bottle opener "multi-tools" but I've literally opened bottles with a rock I found on the ground or a stick, let alone weird "bottle-openers" like a water bottle, sunscreen, or folded piece of paper.

On that streamlight you can reprogram it to start on low and double tap to high. Just tap the switch 9x and on the 10th hold the switch down and it should switch to low to high mode. 150 for the exclusive grip?! Whoa! It was 105 6 months ago.

Gotta be honest, although I almost bought the BM Tengu, that was def the worst knife to pick for this vid. No clip, no lanyard hole, difficult cutting position, and a flipper tab that's in a terrrrrrible spot. That flipper tab was enough for me to remove it from My Cart. If BPS carried the BM Proper, that would be a muuuch better 'no clip' option.
I bought the tengu and returned it the same day when the knife is open and you grip the scales the angle of the flipper tab stabs your finger it horrible
I carry a tengu flipper for when I anticipate my most casual encounters, and don't think I'll even need a knife. I bought one when they first came out, and kept it in the slip and barely carried it lol. I've found now that I've had zero issues with it, carry it somewhat regularly, and actually enjoy using it when I have to.
I have always disliked Benchmade after 3 purchases over a couple years all having quality issues, I swore never again. Awful and with all of the alternatives I don’t need that disappointment in my life… go Hogue, Kancept, or go straight to something special
511 money clip and 511 card holder I also have a snap link on my go bag that I carry with me everywhere. I also carry on me EDC a leather man wave and a leather man micro. I have a fixed blade in my go bag

What do you know about Basspro as far as who they will sell knives and ammunition to. My son was in Memphis and stopped by Basspro. He was looking for 32acp for a walther ppk and asked for 32 acp bullets, the sails person told him that because he had used a (slang) term he could not sell any ammunition to him. They also refused to sell him a Benchmade Bugout because as he was looking at it he said to the clerk that it was a nice blade. Again they told him that because he used slang terminology they couldn't sell him a n overpriced Benchmade. I ordered him one for 75.00 cheaper than the Basspro price. Is that typical for Basspro. My son is clean cut, has a trimmed beard. Does not look like a thug at all. Have any of you ever been treated like this there?
I want to walk into a Bass Pro or Cabela's and ask them to replace my edc for what I paid for it. I am currently carrying a thick leather trifold wallet, a cheap, but reliable waterproof Casio watch, a keychain that has one medium carabiner with 4 smaller carabiners attached to a triple twist 1040 steel keyring. On the keyring I have a little victorinox, my keys, and a mini mag lite. I generally carry a spyderco lightweight in the classic s35vn. I carry pens in a pocket protector branded by Zebra. I only carry G2 .07mm Pilot pens in Blue, Black, Red and Green. My pencils, grease, carpenter, and number 2, are vintage but are Dixon Ticonderoga Made in the USA. Obviously' they couldn't do a one to one replacement, but it would be interesting. If you're wondering about my gun, I don't carry one. I moved to a place that the only fear for my life is when I drive. Thankfully I have seatbelts and airbags.

You might find the package opener on the Gerber Dime very effective for the current pilfer proof type plastic sealed containers.

You do know that the black MicroStream usb has low mode first and high second. The tan version has high first and low second.
I could've made a nicer slip than what came with that Tengu Flipper....such a shame they cheaped out on that part of the knife....
