Yes. Because Aloy has a rubber face. Because grass is just a bunch of textured planes. Because rocks are curved surfaces and have no self-shadows. Because Horizon Zero Dawn had a 20 million sales, Horizon Forbidden West had a 10 million sales, now extrapolate it to Horizon 3's numbers. @@tenghx8908 Yeah. Though I'm afraid they will mess up the sunsets and sunrises, along with mount control, as they did in Horizon Forbidden West… :/ We'll see.
Personally, the topic of remaster vs remake has come up for me a few times recently and I'll briefly explain my stance. Remasters are great at crossing short gaps in time and hardware with small enhancements, such as the jump from one console generation to the next. Take Skyrim: Special Edition for the PS4 and Xbox One, where the lighting and textures were updated to reflect the extra unit power. Remakes on the other hand are excellent at taking older concepts and games and using them as source material to create a new product that's follows the same path but with all new features to reimagine the experience. The Destroy all Humans! 1+2 remakes (2020,2022) are excellent examples of this. They take the original games story and faithfully recreate the experience with new models, textures, voices and mechanics with extra QoL features. Hopefully, this gets you gamers thinking about old games you'd think deserve to be remade vs remastered
Guerilla is being generous by calling it a remaster and charging $10 to upgrade. This is a full blown remake. Santa Monica and Guerilla love their fans and it shows.
I think I'm one of those crazy people that actually left pick up animations on for a while when HFW came to PC because I don't know. It just felt nice after having had them turned off for so long 😅
For me more weapon slots are a must, I've played through Horizon Forbidden West 3 times and even did it on Ultra Hard from scratch! I was going to replay Zero Dawn on the hardest setting, but you spend so much time in the menus switching weapon's, that it spoils the enjoyment of playing it.
Forbidden West is a fantastic sequel to an already excellent first title but I never went back to the first game after FW. I always planned to but now I'm glad I didn't. I do remember the lip sync being really off and it ruined some scenes for me, so I'm glad they addressed that issue. I can't wait for the remaster, I'm definitely going to play it extensively!
My biggest worry is the upgrade prevents me from going back to the original. For $10 I'll give it a try. But not if I can't go back to the original. I prefer the look of the original on a PC which has many more features than for consoles. For one, the HUD can be made smaller.
I'm sure you can choose which version to play. When I paid $10 to preorder the upgrade on steam, it added a second game to my library so I have the remastered version and the normal complete edition.
Thanks for putting out this video! I recently noticed that they were coming out with a Remaster of the first game from 2017, which is coming out next week, so I won’t have to wait that long! As a soon to be first time player of the Horizon franchise, I’m really looking forward to playing mostly because I am a visual obsessed person with graphics when it comes to my console games. I’ve been console gaming for about two years now with my Ps5, and never would I buy a PS5 Pro, that’s just my opinion. I’ve always seen and heard people talk about playing HZD, and HFW before, and for some reason this game just never ended up on radar in the past, until NOW. I also think this has solidified my mind with going with the remastered version rather than the ps4 version from so long ago 👍🏾
HZD has been my 'joyous' replay on the regular since it was released for PC. I love Aloy's journey in it, the metric ton of lore, and I still cry at several of the story beats. I love HFW for what it is, but my heart will always select HZD when I just want to kick back and have fun. I am so here for the remaster, even Rost's botox glow up, because it will make a back to back of HZD and HFW consistent looking.
I'm not sure I'd pay for a remaster of my PC version, which still looks pretty sleek, even though I'd appreciate some of the more advanced mechanics they're going to put in. The bigger issue, however, is the possibility of re-written dialogue. I like Aloy better in HZD and I think its writing was on the whole significantly better than that of HFW, and I'm afraid some of Zero Dawn's quality in that regard will be lost in a remaster if they re-write some scenes. If they change nothing but some mechanics, and if every visual change is an improvement (which some say will not be the case), I might be interested for a modest price.
Let's just be honest here: Horizon as a franchise has kind of become the thing that everyone loves to hate recently. As a huge fan of the game I super happy about this remaster. But if was something about any other game, ok... If it was a game that I don't particularly like getting a remaster? Ok... I really don't understand and will never understand this craving that people in the gaming community have for hating things that have literally zero effect on the way they play the games they like such as complaining about something like this remaster.
Hey Chaz, this is a brilliant video! The moment they announced the FZD remaster, I was over the moon. I really love this game, so much so that I even put up with a few technical issues that affected the player experience, like controller latency and some gameplay glitches. Now, the remaster on PS5/PS5 Pro will be a joy, just like The Forbidden West/Burning Shores. What I love about Zero Dawn is the game mechanics, the weapons, and especially the story-I absolutely love the story. So, I hope (fingers crossed) all the previous issues and bugs will be ironed out in the remaster. Side joke: I will miss flying in Zero Dawn the way we do in Forbidden West, but I’m so glad we’re getting this remaster. It’s one of those games that truly deserves a rejuvenation or, LOL, a makeover. Every gamer has their favourite game that they think would be great to have in their collection as a remaster. I pre ordered it, by the way.
Yeah, definitely 'fix' the day-night cycle in HZD. The other thing I could do without, is them having the weather go bad, when you attempt some of the Bandit Camps. How does that even make sense? You approach the camp and it's a beautiful, clear, sunny day. Take a few more steps and light rain starts to fall, then (as you get even closer) the place suddenly darkens and its absolutely hammering down! Change your mind and walk away and it's a sunny day again, because that's how weather works apparently.
I've been meaning to go back and play it. I'm excited to get this remake. .1:50 everything you said from then on was on point. Now I get to replay it in a beautiful way with fantastic new graphics and a much better looking "Aloy. Thanks so much for this "Chaz.👍🏼
I was thinking they could move the focus to the mouse scroll wheel button, so I decided to see what was on that button, and it was the focus. Been playing HZD so many times and never realized that.
This wasn't perhaps the most necessary remaster to do but I'm personally glad that it exists to be honest. I think It's a nice technical upgrade to have and I feel like the overall story and presentation of the game could really be elevated with this remaster. I'm really looking forward to it.
I just bought it, it's a little bit less than $10. I don't think graphically the game needed a remaster, but I'm hoping for some rebalancing on and gameplay adjustments like the health system in the new game which is far better and less "grindy".
I bought HZD after the price dropped to $20 and it was a buggy broken mess. Since they re-recorded the dialogue scenes I may be able to replay the game.
Do you think the game will get quality changes updates aswell? I mean it in the movement which is terrible in Zero dawn like sliding, time changing like shelter in FW, fast travel from fireplace, I mean these are needed not only graphics
All I need is auto pickup to be happy. Also, I don't think it's just a money grab. Arktix mentioned that GG has been hiring a lot for their different Horizon projects and they might use ZD as a training ground for the newbies. It gives them something to work on that's more than just busy work. I'm here for it regardless of reason.
Bad facial animations were imho the biggest downside of the first game because it kills character emotions in some dramatic moments. I'm excited to see how they fixed this with mocap. If it's true that they re-recorded all cutscenes and dialogues then it's gonna be a 2x better experience
The stash is probably the biggest thing i want in zero dawn. Being able to just pick up massive amounts of things to use it later is amazing! also hope for things like super ultrawide support and just the satisfying PC controls we got in HFW. Really hyped to jump into Zero Dawn again!
What do you think about improved inventory stash and access. On par with HFW. Only better. Maybe, using a Stryder as a mobile stash to carry our inventory when our pouch is full.
I purchased Horizon in a bargain bin for $10 and then when i left the store i got crash tackled and mugged by Sony executives who took my game and said i could have it back for $80. Watch out if you find it on sale, take the game and run straight home and lock the door, the executives and CEOs will be following you.
Why does no-one actually realize that this is probably at least partially a side-hustle by nixxes and sony? HZD uses a proprietary engine which means that any new employees will need extensive training on the tech until they are productive. What better way to train new hires than having them remake an older game on outdated tech, and then using the result to grab some extra cash instead of just wasting it by not using the results. It’s just good business but not many businesses are doing it… Does anyone even realize that the only reason SpaceX started Starlink was to make some money from having to test their rockets ánd make some good use of them at the same time to prove to potential customers that they are reliable? They started a multi-billion dollar business just by not wasting their otherwise worthless rockets. Same goes for output from training new personnel.
I’m so happy HZD is getting a remaster. Horizon has millions of fans and we need to be louder. A minority of people who aren’t even fans of the series are crying about this remaster. Jorraraptor and Artix are amazing.
These same resources could’ve been used to make something people actually want like remaking the Killzone games, or just making an enhanced collection of the trilogy/spinoffs. Horizon Zero Dawn remastered was COMPLETELY unnecessary.
Killzone is done. Guerrilla is doing Horizon now. And the remaster didn't even take anything away fdom Guerrila's abilities to make new stuff, since Nixxes made the remaster while Guerrilla is working on the LEGO game, Horizon Online game and Horizon 3.
@@jp_enduresurvive7374 A lot of the younger generation today don’t even know what Killzone is. A remake/remaster would do wonders for the franchise since it isn’t available on modern consoles and would be a great re-introduction to the franchise.
@@ana_carol89 People think nobody likes Horizon, yet it already got 2 games, 2 DLCs, one VR spinoff, a LEGO game, an online game in the works, a third game in the works, a Netflix adaptation in the talks and several collabs with other games.
Just a few days before the announcement, it occurred to me that I should play through both episodes again. I like both games a lot, but after Forbidden West, Zero Dawn seems a bit simple in terms of gameplay. And the dialogues are also quite strange in the sense that the talking characters are just standing against each other like a tree. This wasn't the case in Mass Effect 2, which was released years before Zero Dawn, and the conversations even in Frozen Wilds are much more hectic. These are the two things that bothered me about Zero Dawn. Now it looks like some of these will be fixed, and for that reason alone I'm glad to see it getting a remaster. And I like it when two related episodes are visually almost identical. That's why I was happy with The Last of Us Part 1, because it unified the two visually. So I'm really looking forward to the remaster, and it's the perfect excuse to play through it again for I don't know how many times.
The biggest downside was ACTUALLY the bad lightning in my opinion. Also, the story is split into 3 games and in my opinion it would make any sense if the graphics of the first game are that much worse compared to the 3rd title which is probably gonna look even more insane.
Saw bits of this video somewhere else so I had to see if this was a comedy sketch video or a real take on this. Where's Blooddorne 2? Or even a good remaster of the original?
HZD didnt need a remaster at all it still looks fine, all they needed to do is just port it across with some minor updates. this is just a resource sinkto delay the 3rd game
I am a diehard fanatic Horizon fangirl and even i sadly do not agree on it needing one Its still a relatively new game and plenty more games could be given the remaster treatment whether its been several decades or tech limitations at the time prevented it from reaching its potential
Oh yeah...they'll get my $10. Always looking forward to a "new" Zero Dawn play though (I do one at least every other year...my favorite franchise). And you are correct...the Horizon gaming community is excellent. I was introduced to it by Kirsty's Focus RUclips channel. What improvement would I like to see most in the remaster?...yeah..the shieldwing would be nice (no more death by gravity), but as you state...would be awkward from a story standpoint...so I'm gonna go with...consistency of "mount" controls (I seem to recall they had "square" in zero dawn, and "triangle" in Forbidden West...or I might have that backward). Wasn't a huge thing...just is something to remember when switching between games...and hopefully wouldn't be "too hard" to globally fix in Zero Dawn to match Forbidden West. Peace.
Zero dawn and forbidden west on PC both look stunning. I play on PC and I can say 100% both games graphically are impressive. You need to play it maxed out PC. its far different then on the PS5
Guerilla want to market their Decima Engine more, hence the update. Paired with investment from Sony, because they want more the PC market as well (forced PSN Log in). So i guess it´s nice that it is only 10 eddies, but still cave emptor
I think the cutscene animation updates alone are enough of a reason for a remaster. The robotic faces in Zero dawn are really that bad. Frozen wilds excluded of course. For a big time 2017 game this was not good. Of course, a big thing Horizon is selling is a world that you want to be in and to roam around in. Improved, more immersive graphic detail is important to that offering. I would like the ability to change time of day. The ability to turn pickup animation off is good QoL. I don't think a stash is happening. Too big a change, so auto pickup is unlikely. They could auto pickup but never create a new inventory slot/stack when doing so. Auto pickup of healing of course can always be done. For inventory simplification they could easily increase the stack size of of various items. Let all the 25 and 50 items stack in 100 quantity. Let wood stack in 500 or 1000. At least let 25 -> 50, 50 -> 100 and especially let 5 -> 25.
As someone who played HFW before HZD, I can confidently say that Aloy's aim, and the game's interpretation of where an arrow is in space, is atrocious in ZD. The controls all work the same and your inputs all move the same way, but I have lost count of how many times I have literally seen an arrow pass through a bandit's head and not have it register as a hit. I have emptied entire arrow pouches at nothing but air when hunting rabbits. In HFW, Aloy can get "close" to hitting an object and it registers as a hit (even on Very Hard difficulty). In HZD, your arrow passes through objects like they aren't even there. Secondly, the weapons is HZD are weak AF. The coils aren't that impressive, even if they are purple. In HFW you could upgrade the weapon's base stats and then add coils on top of that, not to mention the already included base stats of 15% critical hit chance or 25% overdraw. There is none of that in HZD and you are left with weapons (bows mostly) that don't deal a lot of damage. I find myself needing to use the trip caster more often than I like (which is a slow and clunky weapon to use mid combat) to deal out strong explosive traps against the stronger machines. So my wishes would be to add weapon upgrades to the base weapons like in HFW and to sharpen up the hit boxes on objects. As is, the arrows just don't hit when they should.
Totally agree.. the weapons and overall combat system in HFW is just significantly better than in ZD. It’s hard to really even compare the two because it’s such a big step up in the FW. Getting some new or legendary weapons in the remaster would be awesome! Or, they could bring in some of the newer FW weapons, like spike throwers or shredder gauntlets! It’s a stretch, but it’d be awesome 😆
I've had way more hit registery issues in forbidden west than I ever had in zero dawn. And not only when my arrows or bombs fly through enemies, but also enemy attacks miss me by 3 meters and I take damage. And as far as the weak weapons in ZD are concerned, sure the weapons probably did less damage even with the best coils, but that game also had that OP concentration that was constantly up while jumping or sliding, and Aloy had extremely fast reload and drawspeed during concentration. Not to mention triple notch didn't take weapon stamina, so you could abuse all of those things combined to dish out a pretty huge DPS. My point is, there was different mechanics to use to deal with huge machines. Personally I think that it's good change did happen, makes the game feel fresh. It's everyones opinion which one they prefer. Personally I dislike how in FW aloy is limited by each resource she is carrying, so there is pretty small limit of certain kinds of ammo she can use. In ZD the only limit was Aloys total carrying capacity, which I very much preferred, so I could pick and chose which kind of ammo I might want to craft on the road. Lastly, I remember those good old times when I would dance with sawtooths or farm tramplers, armed with nothing but explosive tripcaster and I'd just use that thing like a hunter bow, set a quick wire right underneath a machine to blow it up instantly to do lots of damage. I really enjoyed that playstyle once I got the hang of it. I miss that, and as Aloy can carry only up to 35 blastplates, can't even craft all that tripwires. At least I have found out that shredder gauntlets are really fun as well.
I've played both on consoles and PC. Zero Dawn on a PC is a different game. Zero Dawn looks more real than Forbidden West. In particular, Zero Dawn has a wider field of view. I uploaded a video demonstrating that.
I never finished the original, and trying to go back is so hard . Sense playing on ps5 for 4 years now . they should add the same new inventory system as well as the same game play mechanics as forbidden west. I am totally excited. It definitely really needed an updated version. I have been wanting them to do this forever. ❤ . I also think it is not a cash grab, but they should at least price the physical version at a lower cost. I had an issue with the witcher 3 upgrade when they had the free version . You still have to put a disc for the ps4 version in it, and then it will download that version every time when you are trying to play the ps5 version. They need to let us play without the disc if they are free or 10. oo. Upgrade. X box somehow has figured it out .
This video look like more a Ad for HZD Remaster paied by Sony... all your talk and you didnt even said why the remaster is need it all was"graphic this , graphic that " while still the game look good... PS5 will be know as Remaster Station because i didnt pay 500$ to get game i already play in preview gen with minor graphic changes..
i fell in love with horizon fw a year ago i played it before horizon zero dawn but i did buy both games and its complete versions so i went back after i finished HFW I gotta say i loved it though yes youre right i was so spoiled in HFW that i had a tough time fully finishing or appreciating zero dawn BUT THEYRE BOTH AMAZING GAMES i bought both copies on every console lol
i bought HZD on PC back then for around 20$ and now i did upg it for 10$ but i don't think its worth 50$ for this game considering its a 7y old game on PC alone
i'm not mad at a remaster but I probably wont get it till a year or 2 as i've recently replayed it. I wish one of these companies would pick up the Jak franchise and remake that though, i think Guerilla would do a great job at that
This video completely failed to explain why it "needs" a remaster, also you do realise gameplay isn't being improved right? It's just graphical improvements and slightly different cutscenes, they aren't adding gameplay mechanics
I do hope they have a better and working save transfer system. I upgrades control this week to ultimate edition and I basically need to restart from scratch. It's a beautiful game and the uw version is sick. I just hoped that I could just xonti4with the dlc I was playing on the PS4 version. One thing I kinda dislike. Is that hero lighting method. I dislike the always on rim light effe t. Kinda takes the character out of the environment
My opinion is that after the resounding success of HZD, and the resulting dismal follow-up that HFW is (let's face it, it's terrible), they had to do something to bring back their core-based customers to sell the 3rd one to. HFW re-vamp wasn't going to do it - obviously - as they'd have to totally re-write it, so they've picked on the success of HZD to try and regenerate interest in the 3rd in the series. HZD I bought on spec, and loved it. HFW I bought on the day of release, and gave away 3 months later out of boredom and disappointment. What's the chances of buying a 3rd? Not high. Certainly not until I've read the reviews and watched some game play. So, yeah ... I think they're trying to regain interest for the 3rd. Thank goodness I've still got my original copy of HZD to fall back on when I'm looking for something GOOD to play and not just fill in time.
May be because people complained about the models an mocap being stiff an robotic like an how emotionless character act. You can this information everywhere.
Thanks for this post, Chazz - you make some good points. However, I'm not eager for a whole lot of changes to the Remaster. I like HZD the way it is, plastic faces & all. It will be nice to see refurbished visuals in the Remaster, but I wouldn't want game mechanics to be altered, and I'm on the fence as to the idea of incorporating the Stash to the inventory mgt. system. I would not want too much of HFW to creep into HZD, as they are meant to be two very different games, and I think they should both be appreciated for what they are and what they offer. That said, I am curious about what new dialogue they're adding. Fortunately if I want to go back to the original version, I have that on disk so I can play it whenever the mood strikes.
I wouldn't say need per say has i think its better for games to get a remaster or remake when like 2 gens old but faces look night and day faster in forbidden west and load times sucked majorly in zero dawn. Love both games been a while sense i played zero dawn so i cant wait
Hell ya Remastering a game that still looks amazing on PS4 and you can play on PS5 is a waste of time btw Sony increased Zero Dawn Complete Edition in my country in EU from 15 Euro to 50 just to Force ppl t0 buy the new Remaster plus this is not even an remaster all it is is just a Patch that contains AI up scaling and they changed the game ID so it is recognized by PS5 as PS5 game
There is almost no game in existence that needed a remaster less than Horizon Dawn. This might have made sense, 12 years from now, when the gaming industry is 2-3 console generations further along, and graphics have had a massive leap forward. People would have had time to move on, and feel nostalgic about the game, and maybe not remember significant parts of the story. This is just a cash grab, like the PS5 Pro. Playstation continues to make stupid moves, and will only continue to do ok, because Xbox is making even worse moves.
and instead of atleast re releasing the game with some new content they do what yes put money to Re Record voice over so that the game more reflects their DEI Degeneracy initiatives so yes it's BAD
Looking forward to it. And I can absolutely say it hasn't taken much resources from the dev. Not to say it hasn't been a lot of work, but undoubtedly they are doubling up the workload for game 3 and the remaster. So the actors were probably in the studio anyways to record for game 3 and they added a couple more days onto the budget. Game 3 will probably use assets from game 1 so again, they needed to update them anyways - so at this point you may as well make a remaster. It's just good efficient use of resources and puts paid to all the bullshit about the game diverting resources from other Sony games. Guerrilla not Sony is the one to put resources in - and with all the other work they are doing - Horizon MP, Horizon 3 you can bet this was done by a small team.
that's a really good point! especially considering they used a lot of the same voice actors for the LEGO game.. You're totally right.. they were probably already in the studio and recording lines, so it makes it a lot easier. I hadn't even thought of that
And if we're talking about quality of life, the thing that I would like to see most is the capacity to climb more places like we are in Forbidden West.
I like how there updating the faces of the characters because a lot of them looked kind of like plastic ngl and the voices didn’t really match the mouths talking and also the weather just changing when entering a certain spot. This game is gonna look so much better with this remaster
it requires a Playstation Network Subscription. i won't buy their stupid console because of subscription fees. I will NOT waste any money on this remaster as long as it requires PSN. and i will NOT buy ANY PS port that requires PSN. Sony can go to hell.
Are you looking forward to the Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster?? Why or why not? Let me know in the comments!
Yes. Because Aloy has a rubber face. Because grass is just a bunch of textured planes. Because rocks are curved surfaces and have no self-shadows. Thanks for putting out this video! I recently noticed that they were coming out with a Remaster of the first game from 2017, which is coming out next week, so I won’t have to wait that long!
Thanks so much for this "Chaz.👍🏼
i definitely can't wait for sony remasters spider man 2 and TLOU 2 after this
Good news! TLOU 2 already has a remaster. It released last January.
I was thinking they could move the focus to the mouse scroll wheel button, so I decided to see what was on that button, and it was the focus. Been playing HZD so many times and never realized that.
It’s really refreshing to hear this take. I’m extremely excited to play the game again with the new updates ❤
This wasn't perhaps the most necessary remaster to do but I'm personally glad that it exists to be honest. I think It's a nice technical upgrade to have and I feel like the overall story and presentation of the game could really be elevated with this remaster. I'm really looking forward to it.
Same! I’m 100% onboard. I’ll take any horizon I can get and it really feels like they’re putting in the work to make it worth it
@@chazmatazzgames Not like they could just update the game lmao ya'll are paying for a patch
I would really like to see motion aiming with the dualsense in the remaster!
I personally believe that HZD desperately needed a remastered. I love HZD but it has definitely aged now.
*"desperately"* is a bit of a strong word, dont you think?
It's only like 500 for me which is like barely 5 Dollars so I think it's worth it
I just bought it, it's a little bit less than $10. I don't think graphically the game needed a remaster, but I'm hoping for some rebalancing on and gameplay adjustments like the health system in the new game which is far better and less "grindy".
@@talison461$10 upgrade on ps5 but the pc version makes no sense
100% totally agree! I'll take any Horizon content I can get
Bad facial animations were imho the biggest downside of the first game because it kills character emotions in some dramatic moments.
Auto-pickups would probably be the biggest thing for me. But I'm sure that I'll love this no matter what.
I’m so happy HZD is getting a remaster. Horizon has millions of fans and we need to be louder. A minority of people who aren’t even fans of the series are crying about this remaster. Jorraraptor and Artix are amazing.
Ah yes, for the fans, they absolutely did this for the fans😂😂😂😂
Bloodborne exists. Am I a joke to you?
So, you're the one who knows what people want? I bet the HZD remaster will be a sales success, just like anything from the franchise.
@@ana_carol89 People think nobody likes Horizon, yet it already got 2 games, 2 DLCs, one VR spinoff, a LEGO game, an online game in the works, a third game in the works, a Netflix adaptation in the talks and several collabs with other games.
So, are we getting a PS5 disk for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered or its only digital?
There is a disc version that will retail for $49.99 USD. Like the digital, it launches on Halloween.
It got remastered so that they can force people to sign up for a PSN account.
And increase the game library for the pathetic PS5 pro
There are hundreds of games that have 20 - 30 years that deserve a remaster, not a game that is still brand new
The biggest downside was ACTUALLY the bad lightning in my opinion.
Also, the story is split into 3 games and in my opinion it would make any sense if the graphics of the first game are that much worse compared to the 3rd title which is probably gonna look even more insane.
I’d like more weapons & more armor options
No one would be complaining about these remasters if the PS5 even had just as many exclusives as the WIIU… but the changes do seem cool
I highly doubt that😂
Saw bits of this video somewhere else so I had to see if this was a comedy sketch video or a real take on this. Where's Blooddorne 2? Or even a good remaster of the original?
HZD didnt need a remaster at all it still looks fine, all they needed to do is just port it across with some minor updates. this is just a resource sinkto delay the 3rd game
a masterpiece that i cant enjoy remastered because of sony's psn crap
I am a diehard fanatic Horizon fangirl and even i sadly do not agree on it needing one
Its still a relatively new game and plenty more games could be given the remaster treatment whether its been several decades or tech limitations at the time prevented it from reaching its potential
I agree.. with so little of actual substance coming to it, could have been a small patch, a content update..
I am really looking forward to the remaster.
My Most-hoped for feature FROM HFW is the bigger weapon wheel.
Someone's a Cyberpunk 2077 fan 😉
@@JayzVeez Choom!
Only thing it needs is gyro aim. Let’s hope it is implemented in the remaster.
Tbh I'm perfectly happy with my ps4 copy. It runs smoothly enough on my ps5 and I don't see myself upgrading anytime soon
Need a Ghost of Yotei remaster.
This video look like more a Ad for HZD Remaster paied by Sony... all your talk and you didnt even said why the remaster is need it all was"graphic this , graphic that " while still the game look good... PS5 will be know as Remaster Station because i didnt pay 500$ to get game i already play in preview gen with minor graphic changes..
i fell in love with horizon fw a year ago i played it before horizon zero dawn but i did buy both games and its complete versions so i went back after i finished HFW I gotta say i loved it though yes youre right i was so spoiled in HFW that i had a tough time fully finishing or appreciating zero dawn BUT THEYRE BOTH AMAZING GAMES i bought both copies on every console lol

i bought HZD on PC back then for around 20$ and now i did upg it for 10$ but i don't think its worth 50$ for this game considering its a 7y old game on PC alone
what's funny is I love playing the game at night as it makes all my sneaking and killing in bandit camps other hostile locations make more sense
Totally off record, but I love the Tall Neck machine statue in the background.
☺️ thanks! It’s actually the LEGO tallneck. It’s pretty cool. Hopefully we get more LEGO sets in the future!
the reason for the remaster
is thst there is a HZD netflicks series coming in 2 years
and so they have to get everyone up with the lore
Just consume product and get excited for next product.
Theyd be hitting gold if theyd remake bloodborne, but they're too scared to do that.
i'm not mad at a remaster but I probably wont get it till a year or 2 as i've recently replayed it. I wish one of these companies would pick up the Jak franchise and remake that though, i think Guerilla would do a great job at that
next level of remasters is just selling patches for 60€
I really hope they got rid of pickup animations
Damage control. Sony's video has 38k dislikes.
They have no new games to release, thats why they are remastering games to make a quick buck, lol 😂😂😂

Disagree with all your reasons. It's why they added it all in horizon 2. Make part 3.
I hope all of HFW's accessibility features get ported to HZD. That's it lol
This is a bad sign. All that money on cut scenes? I don't care about cut scenes. I skip them after reading them.
I want them to add the climbing mechanics of forbidden west to zero dawn. I’ll wait for horizon 3 just do mess it up please.
It is for the new generation and makes good business sense
The game won numerous awards and sold over 24.3 million units by April 2023, making it one of the best-selling PlayStation 4 games.
Maybe for $5 but not $15.
None of this is necessary at the moment, horizon isn’t even that old of a game. If you need remasters look even further back ps2 or ps3.
I can't wait for the remastered of Spider-Man 2, it needs one absolutely; next year probably😂
This thing is the last thing on the list that needs a remaster. Period.
I hadn't even thought of that
I've never played any of the 2 games, so I'm excited.
Doubling the price of the original game was a pretty anti consumer move
Why dont we remaster astrobot next?
My biggest hope for what hasn't been said yet, would be a rework of melee.
