Hi

Gonna be a great video
Love you!
I am a big fan
for a man who wanted to die, he had a very strong will to live
NB,
I'd say he had a very strong will to die. And proved it ! . . .
he was a viking, bloodthirst carried him from death. the berserkers were scandinavian warriors who went into battle in a state of intense fury.
their state, induced by drugs and self-suggestive hypnosis, removed their sense of pain and exhaustion but also introduced uncontrollable rage.

It's like the adage, "Rules are written in blood". The folks being idiots assuming things about situations like this have no understanding that there's reasons why things are done the way they are.
"Why the police shoot him so many times? Why don't they just shoot him in the leg? How come a taser wasn't used? Why didn't the police just ninja the knife out of his hands? It's just a knife", and other stupid nonsense like that. These people's ignorance will get some of them killed one day if they find themselves in a situation where the chips are down and shit just got real.
@@MelodusDethicus It doesnt mean they did the right thing in the first place.
It means someone messed up in the first place, and the system was improved right up to the point that generally no officers get killed.
Doesnt in any way mean its a good system, and certainly doesnt mean asking questions is stupid nonsense.
@@ribbitgoesthedoglastnamehe4681 Stop your bleeding heart nonsense. No one is saying not to question what happened. That's why we're here.
Someone messed up in the first place? Damn straight. The suspect shouldn't have waved a knife around like a lunatic and moved towards officers threatening them like a jackass. If he didn't do stupid shit, it wouldn't have happened. Funny, that.
@@MelodusDethicus Exactly. Thats why guns should be taken away from people.
When the bad guys come to your house, and you pull a gun on them, thats your suicide. If people wouldnt have guns to do that stupid shit, they wouldnt get shot in a robbery. I mean, what do they expect? That criminals WONT defend themselves, when they are CLEARLY already doing a crime?
Knew an ex cop that had a story about a huge naked guy running around with a machete while high as shit. They cornered him at one point after shooting him dozens of times and he was still wildly swinging the machete around so they just left him there until he bled out. Drugs can really make people live way longer than they should after getting severely injured
I always thought that scene from Scarface was bullshit. But my dad said that because he actually did way more coke than people usually do at the end that it very well could have kept him going through all those gunshots. I was like 😮
In 1973, we caught a creep robbing my grandma's house 3 weeks after she passed away. My dad, brother, and I went berserk on him in the carport punching, kicking him, slamming his head into the pavement using his pony tail as a rope. The guy weighed about 150 pounds and had skinny arms. He threw the 3 of us off twice. I got stabbed in my side with a screwdriver, my dad had skin torn off his face by the creep's long fingernails, and my brother had been punched in the back of his head several times. He almost ran me over backing his truck out of the driveway. The neighborhood go-to guy told us who the creep was a few days later after I described the truck and that he had been high on PCP. Apparently, he was a local drug dealer and ex boyfriend of my gramma's tenant. I am still astounded at the guy's strength and ability to take that kind of beating like it was nothing. I heard that a year later the creep died of a heroin overdose. Good.
@@PrinceIsot most of the people who go down from gunshots are from the pain of it, which is why sometimes you will hear seemingly ridiculous things like suspect shot 20 times and survives.

This is a sad situation. Everyone around already knew what the suspects intent was. At the same time when he’s running at the officers with a weapon there’s no other choice.
It's very sad. I mean look, it's fair to say "why not just use a stun or use your takedown skills" but the dude survived easily 15 bullets and came back for round 2. Sadly if he was black the media would still blame the cops
@@dixonhands well they did opt for non lethal with the bean bags. That didn't work. 15 real pew pews didn't work, 1 or 2 more bean bags didn't work. There was definitely no other option

Welcome to the States lol
The cops are doing their best. Most shootings are clearly justified. The problem in the US starts way earlier, when the police gets called it's almost always to late.
The US desperately needs better education and a better social system to get crime rates down.
Stricter laws on weapons can do their part but only after crime rates are going down. Right now I understand everyone in the US wanting to have a weapon.
Same here ... police in my country has zero percent of such weird situations, so they can easily be much more relaxed. Cannot be compared to America.
@@ahabicher Im from Germany, once in a while there are comparable situations like these here. The last was last year where 2 police officers died.
Since 1945 400 police officers lost their life because they got attacked. I mean thats 80 years, 5 a year. Germany has about a fourth of the population of the USA. meaning 20 deaths would be somehow understandable. They´re at 80, 4 times more. Just like everything crime related in the USA...
This kind of transparency is only possible because of the body cams. The more transparency the harder it is to hide the truth in any situation.

That guy had to be hopped up on drugs! I’ve been a registered nurse and an EMT for almost 40 years nobody can take that many hits and keep going without something keeping them up
Dude had zero severe bleeds that we could see. Granted footage isn't great so I could have missed something, but he very well could've just been lucky af and only one or two of those initial rounds actually connected and nowhere vital. At that point Adrenaline is sufficient to keep him going. I'll look again but that shirt he's wearing makes it hard to verify any GSWs at a glance.
So I rewatched and the blood I could see was upper back in the shoulders area. Depending on where it hit he wouldn't necessarily go down just like that. Problem is that shirt of his is so baggy it's hard to tell where he got hit. You could very well be right, but if he wants to die he could've also willed himself up so they wouldn't just treat him.
I'm pretty sure the Nurse/EMT knows better than you random citizen. Especially since from my own training, gunshots induce shock a very large portion of the time, regardless of where it hits on a normal person. Dude likely was hopped up on shit
@@diraltmcallister3523 lol just because I'm not as experienced as him doesn't mean I'm lacking the education. My handful of certs include EMT among others as well. However as I said someone that wants to die easily could will themselves to that point I should know as I've been there. Also if you looked at my full argument I was pointing out that the guy may have only been hit a minimal number of times. Now if he had taken literally every round then he'll yeah I'd agree drugs were involved but with zero facts to go on besides this drugs are just one possibility.

@@joshjones718 that's not how cops are trained. Their job is to stop the threat as fast as possible. And that means shooting in the largest part of the body, the main body. Idk if this is the same in America, but Canadian RCMP officers are trained to put a minimum of 3 rounds in the upper body of the threat if they're being attacked. That might work, but shooting him dead guarantees the threat is eliminated as sad as that sounds...
@@joshjones718 not practical at all. Smaller targets are harder to hit especially when they’re moving and your adrenaline is pumping.
Also if shot in the leg there’s a good chance the femoral artery can be hit and they’ll bleed out in minutes. Lots of blood.
Plus the time taken to try and hit a smaller target gives the attacker more time to attack.
So let’s say they do shoot this guy in the leg and it stops him from attacking w the knife. Then suddenly he pulls out a pistol and pops off a few rounds and takes out an officer or bystander.
Was all that hard work trying to hit the legs the best idea?

Donut you have no idea how much ive learned from you over the years. Thanks for staying with us and continuing to make these videos!
First, why do we keep pretending that 9mm is awesome? Yes, I’ve seen Donuts video of the cop that now carries an ungodly amount of ammo because his 45 didn’t do the job. But I don’t really remember all the videos of officers having to mag dump with 40 & 45. No, I’m not a know nothing non-gun guy, I’m a former (garrison so actually a street cop, plus time in the SRT) military policeman (9mm with JHPs, yes the Army Carrie’s hollow points) and civilian cop (also 9mm with JHPs). “*best fat electrician voice* Buh…but there’s often multiple attackers or something similar, buh…. Sorry guys and gals, with rare exceptions I don’t recall any of my old training videos where the officers were using a caliber starting with the number 4 having to mag dump, reload, and repeat.
Second and most importantly, where the hell was an officer with a long gun?!?! We know handguns suck, we know they are inherently less accurate, we know they are statistically less likely to stop an aggressive attacker, so why didn’t one of the cover officer IMMEDIATELY retrieve a lethal king gun?!?!
Donut. We love you.
I am seeing off the charts number of people suiciding by Cop with a knife, and others, who want to go out in a blaze are using guns to "last stand" knowing they won't survive. I think many of them hope the cops will dome them, so they simply don't really feel anything... just instant... darkness... and then they are in for a real ride when their conscience realizes that they are a living spirit, and their spirit is being taken somewhere they may not want to be.
These situations are always sad, there's hardly even anything the cops can do. The man wants to die, and forces the cops to comply by threatening their lives with a weapon. It's tragic.
id rather they do this than shoot up a school... if only they all had the balls to go against someone who actually has a gun instead of going for unarmed civillians
I hate America's way of handling mental health support. Like, you seeking it puts you at risk of having rights taken, and you having to fight to get them back.
Almost like when you tell someone, "if you feel like shit and ask for help, we'll remove the ability for you to protect yourself and your family." It discourages people from seeking help.
Fuckin sickening.
Normally I'd chalk it up to the same thing, but buddy certainly had a lotta spark for someone who wanted to die. This seemed more like some kinda psychotic episode, probably mixed with drugs.
@@thebullet8078 i don't disagree, but i also don't have a resolution ... You don't want people with mental health issues carrying around firearms, and it's an impossible task trying to rate the severity, then determining on an individual basis if that person is fit it unfit.
@@topspot4834 Thats the thing. You won't even be able to determine it if you wanted, because they don't reach out for help. That's the problem with red flag laws. And with americas perception of mental health as a whole. Mental health isn't treated as an actual issue, it's treated as more of a joke or way to gain a social stance. And red flag laws are inherently intrusive and unconstitutional. We need a better way to look at mental health for everyone on a national scale. Or, at the very least destigmatize individuals seeking it.

TV and movies have messed with peoples perceptions about police, guns, law enforcement and life in general. This Video proves that caution and safety should be paramount when dealing with armed subjects! Also I would like to know exactly how many rounds did this man take before he finally stayed down?
Sort of, but also not really, as Donut showed with the 360 no scope officer sometimes one we'll placed shot ends them like the movies and sometimes people take 50 bullets and survive to win the Medal of Honor... It depends on where they hit.
Also for every film or game that shows someone getting hit by one bullet and dying in seconds there's probably another equally bad unrealistic one that shows the main character just shrugging off constant gunshot wounds and whatever...
@@esmeecampbell7396 You're right, I don't know why the majority of people think media or entertainment is super realistic or just the most fake, when reality is usually somewhere in the middle.
This video also shows just how underpowered handguns are.
@@largelarry2126 again it depends, if you hit the big squishy off switch it doesn't matter if it is 22 or 50cal, that's more how much other than person it has to get through.
What the video shows is meth makes you powerful and if you don't hit anything important they can keep going for at least a few minutes before the blood loss will take them.
You'd get the same thing with a battle rifle... quantity is a quality of its own and you don't get paid for bringing bullets back, so mag dump.
Way too many, which is why you carry the .45 caliber: don’t trust your life to the .9mm or .40 caliber. You see how strong a determined, perhaps even crazy or drugged, adversary can be…
That's scary. As an armed security officer I carry a G17 topped off with 18 rounds and 3 full mags loaded with Speer gold dots. This guy took a lot of rounds and still kept coming! When I was a corrections officer for TDCJ we used 4 to 5 people to enter a cell were someone committed suicide or seemed dead. We cuffed them from behind even if they weren't breathing because inmates play games and will hurt you! Good shoot but man it took a lot to finally put homie down!
Mag count and capacity is ok but you should consider switching to G2RIP rounds in .45ACP if you want to disable people effectively.

Trained to shoot paper targets to stay qualified here in Texas. Dealing with a live and unstable person is hard if not impossible to train for.
We could fix that by using convicted pedophiles as training aids. Give them rubber knives and guns and tell them to attack the cops, if they live sentence commuted if not well just saved tax payers money and gave law enforcement much better training.
Nooo don't say that, guns clearly work like in the movie where one shot to anywhere on the body and the offender drops dead cold.

Watching the first officer with the slide locked back still aiming his weapon at the suspect is a good example of getting task-focused after a big adrenaline dump. I know it would be hard to train under that level of anxiety, but you have to make up for the lack of realism with lots of reps. Make those actions muscle memory.
That near crossfire at the end was quite a pucker moment too.
You are correct. Many police departments train using paper targets at 15 yards. No realism to an actual shooting. Many cops are not properly prepared when the shit hits the fan. Takes a skilled operator to drop a suspect in a high stress situation. Thankfully, the majority of officers go their whole career without having to shot anyone.
They did barely okay for newbies (I’m guessing this was their first shooting); the guy did finally go down and no officer was harmed by friendly fire, but it was damned close, even shot out his window. Need to carry .45s, or hotter loads if they’re carrying .40s; way too many shots fired that didn’t hit center mass.
@@seanbrown9048 he doesn't need a 45, he needs training, and lots of it. dude got lucky nobody else was injured
There's an old saying: _"train hard, fight easy."_
Your level of ability can deteriorate when under stress, so it all falls back on your training. The harder you train, the easier it can be for you to do the right things when it counts.
And consciously make the effort to ensure you train thoughtfully. For instance, don't incorporate any unnecessary tasks in your regimen. If you do, you're going to train yourself to do unnecessary things in a fight, and that can cost you time, which can mean the difference between life and death.

1:38 This is not how you talk to _anybody_ who stops to help you, police officer or not. Waving a knife at people is usually not conducive to getting help changing your flat tire. And in Texas, too. Any concealed carrier could've walked up to ask you if you needed help and then seen you brandishing that knife and plugged you there and then. Small brain move all around.
