Best coil to clean is a clean coil. Means the customer cares about his stuff. Before problems start. And no you don't need coil cleaner. Cause it's not caked on. Good job
Prime pressure washer before you turn on for 3 minutes you will burn the little pump if not. Kept on burning them until I read the manual. Keep doing the good job you do.
I'd be interested in an extension with an L shape on the end that would allow me to reach into the further most areas of the coil and still deliver the required psi of water spray. This would allow you to stand back and not have to enter so deeply. I would try to make it double for my extension hook to drag the filters forward. The rusty sludge, on the other hand, has weight and may need more direct suction to lift it from the channel. As usual Walt you met the task head on and as you say, "I got a chance to clean a coil today." Good Job!
Here's a tip for you, when you are trying to hook up a pressure washer gun with water on, pull the handle on the wand so that the water will go out the end of the wand and it won't try to build pressure when you're trying to hook up the connection.
I agree with how the gentleman is cleaning the RTU. Anytime you use Nu Calgon or similar products those chemicals will corrode the coils especially the micro channel coils it will deteriorate the aluminum
in commercial/industrial settings oftentimes you have to use food grade cleaners to prevent contamination and massive product loss i have seen factories throw out huge production runs multiple times when they find a chemical drip from one of the Rtus . Nu calgon works great on fin and tube coils and condensers but using it off season on residential evaporators when they are dirty and causing high limit issues can be a problem since they won’t sweat for a good while and microchannel coils are best cleaned with a pressure washer as they are actually very strong and resistant to pressure washing damage they are just vulnerable to getting punctured if you accidentally drop a tool on them while changing out a condenser fan motor
Glad to see you use the power washer rather than the chemical spray and water. Proves it works fine without damaging coils. Thanks!!

Nice job👍🏽 Someone once told me that taping the filters together makes it easier to pull them out for the next guy...
keep the videos coming

Is this in sugarland? Have a customer down there and looks very familiar.
I shorten the spray wands to about 10” and stubbys with 3/8 pipe or whatever size it takes and can get into tight spaces
Loved the video big homie! Keep em coming ✌🏿💪
That unit looked mighty clean before you started.
battery based version will be great
Do you not like using foam for a particular reason? I like Nu calgon

Great job. I hate coil cleaners too. They are all corrosive.
Please , purge that Machine , i feel bad for them.
