    People don't realise it's "deep cleaning". Your local technician won't do this on a routine maintenance. Very good job of deep cleaning though. Well done!

    • @rakseen456
      @rakseen456 Год назад +8

      I think what some people are complaining about is that some techs charge for this service but provide a routine maintenance most times.
      I myself don't do routine maintenance, once I go on a call it's proper cleaning because a callback a week or two later looks bad on your reputation, especially with the competition out there. Everyone is on social media now so gots to be professional always.
      I used to work for a big ac company and sometimes on the field with a senior tech he'd do routine work , boss's orders to maximize work load. Lots of callback every week . On my own now and quite a few of those customers are very happy to have switched over to me.

      I’m hvac and my company does want us to clean as good as we can depending on circumstances, like @gabrielcano8829 said, call backs is no good because almost 100% of the time a call back means we aren’t getting payed for what’s being done at that call. So we do our best to keep call backs minimum. But cleaning AC’s that thoroughly takes a good amount of time and if we have 4-8 calls that day, we could be getting home anywhere from 5 pm up until 11 pm depending on calls. We don’t have time like that haha. But really great job on cleaning that unit! It’s awesome!

    • @judsonterry6644
      @judsonterry6644 2 года назад

      Yeah because you aren't supposed to clean the back side. They are all designed for air flow. Spraying the back side bends the fins even if slightly. If you clean the front properly it pushes everything through the back leaving it clean. You check the back but clean it from spraying through the front because it is how the flow is designed.

    Just purely curious, why are you putting gauges on a unit during a cleaning? Every time you install gauges you lose a small amount of refrigerant. Doing a Delta T check tells you if the unit is working properly and not losing refrigerant. If you do that on yearly cleanings you’re eventually not going to have a charge. The only thing I’d suggest on this cleaning to help, most indoor units have a fan motor bearing that are not moisture sealed. Meaning when you do your cleaning like such even the smallest amount of water getting into the fan motor bearing is going to cause them to fail quickly. I have to put a lot of fan motors and bearings into mini split units from cleanings being done like this. Need to take the blower wheel outside and cover your fan motor just like your pcb boards.

  • @arishem555
    @arishem555 2 года назад

    split units are cool, - but cleaning is the pain. but probably if you clean filters at least once in 2 month, -you should get less dirt.
