I absolutely adore this uniquely American, beautiful weather “Tool Time” White Americana. It’s close to a kind of paradise.

I watched the whole video and Im still wondering when he is his going to clean that coil for real? Lol that coil was not very dirty from the start however Id never clean coil with obe of those silly pressure washer contraptions. Ive been washing rtu coils for over 20 years and I carry 400' of black rubber hoze in my van at all times. Have yet to fins a hose bib further than 400'. You have to have water volume to wash a coil properly pressure washers have no volume and are usless on a cu coil. The are ok for cleaning pannels and maybe evap coils but thats it. I know its a pain to run the garden hose but it is what it is. I have seen commercial coil cleaning companies when im in the field they use water trucks and large pumps to pump the volume they need for washing coils all day with not hose bib access. Some times I run in to pressure issues with the garden hose then you do what you can with what you have in this case I may consider a little power washer with a bucket of water but only then. By the way that blue coil brightner is way to harsh on coils for regular use use the I beleive yellow bags from united tech its the medium grade it wont damage fins and you can fully consentrate it as directed to get max foaming with no worries. I use the blue bags only if the coil is insainly dirty and the customer wants the shiny nickle look wven though thats not whats important. I have been to too many jobs where a guy just finished washing a cu coil with a pressure washer coil looks clean as ever but pressures are still threw the ceiling and compressors are getting really hot. Turns out the coils are still dirty you need that volume to push that crud out inside the coil not just wash the surface!! And yes if its a double coil cut those zip ties and seperate them or its never going to be clean!!

What are your favorite cleaners? Your comment about volume is correct really forces everything out.

@@HVAC544 to be honest its best to clean with just water. Brush the coil first and spend a good deal of time rinsing with water from the inside of the coil out then rinse the front of the coil to clean it up even better. If the coil is real dirty use a viper pack from united tech. Its a consentrate that will make 9 gallons of cleaner which is great.

Never go above 400-500 PSI. If you’re using the 3/8” QC hoses, just spend the $20 on a QC pressure gauge.
