Nice! bought this lens but returned it today. No sharp images below F8, F9 and very smudgy results, what was your general opinion on this R lens? Any advice on the wide angle side?
I think it was very usable, not the sharpest lens. This video was shot wide open. Try the 24mm, should perform better, but doesn't quite match up with the other Leica R lenses.
Thanks man. the seller has agreed to do a calibration first, hopefully that does the trick. I have seen footage of the 24, clearly a different type of lens. @@koiak_ch
That opening shot is beautiful. Could be from a movie. Did you use any lut or film print?
Graded the shot myself on Resolve. No lut or film print, just eye balling 👀😅
