I've seen Joe twice. Both times just amazing. No hi-tech lighting and stage production silliness. Joe and his Band od Amazing Musicians and Those three girls, Juanita, Mahalia and Jade are lights out on vocals. Donna, You go see him! Get a good seat too. You will experience a real musical revelation.
He started playing at age 4. For Joe Bonamassa that happened when he was 12. By that point, he had a band and had been playing guitar for 8 years. He did have a couple of lessons in classical guitar from an instructor from Julliard, but generally, he just picked all the music by ear.
This concert was Live st the Beacon Theater. All the performances are fantastic but "I'll take care of you" is a must see. Beth Hart sings Joe's band plays anf you know Joe he makes that guitar sing. They had to call 911 cuz they burned that performance to the ground!!!! ❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
DONNA: This performance was an outtake from Joe's concert at The Beacon Theater - WITH HIS BAND - wherein he does the one solo performance of Woke Up Dreaming - and then returns to playing with his band - and a couple of songs with singer Beth Hart joining Joe. You should react to their performance on "I'll Take Care of You," from this same concert. I promise you'll love it. He also has two other terrific singers sing a couple of songs that are great too that show more of Joe's versatility, in this very concert - one of Joe's best concerts although all of them are great.
Joe is always great! If you'd like to see some impressive acoustic guitar, you should check out Tommy Emmanuel playing "Initiation", that will blow your mind!!! Great reaction as always, ladies!
I may have forgot to mention in another of your joe videos... Hes classically trained in guitar. Lol which is why a lot of people dont like him.. They think his playing has no soul.. I think theyre full of it and his playing beats most blues players around today. 😊❤ joes my favorite current guitarist.

This song is a master class in the use of dynamics to keep the audience involved.
Master Class right there ...
This is the first song I ever heard oh Joe, instant fan for a guitarist like myself. Great song appreciated by some very famous lead guitarists.

That guitar went into retirement after this performance! Lol Joe is a Master!
Or, it went backstage and smoked a cigarette or 12.
You should check out his video "Stop". One of his best tunes, with a mix of Les Paul and 335 Gibson guitars.
Check out live at Carnegie Hall. An acoustic evening
