Beth Hart and Joe, I'd Rather Go Blind! unbelievable! Best blues guitar solo and best blues singer I have ever heard! You will be amazed.
Added
Joe Bonamassa, a blues guitar master. He opened for BB King at 12 yrs old. Nuff said!! Let's keep Joe going with "Jimmy Barnes - Stone Cold (feat. Joe Bonamassa) (Official Video)" One of the best blues song on my song list!
Added that to our list.
Jimmy's daughter Mahaila is in this song and DVD/CD about the whole show. She's the backing vocalist with the short hair. She's also not a bad solo signer either. The other two with her are Jade MacRae and Juanita Tippins also good solo signers. This band line is called "The 3 Kings Band." They performed songs of the 3 kings of Blues, Albert King, BB King, and Freddy King. Freddy King is the original artist that played this song. Another song from this DVD/CD show is "Let the Good Times Roll"
@@WilliamPickett75 Actually the band doesn't have their own name. The tour this concert was taken from was called "The 3 Kings Tour," after Freddie King (who wrote this song originally), Albert King and BB King, all of them famous blues guitarists who are gone now. The entire band is simply known by the guitarist's name, Joe Bonamassa. But they are, IMHO, the best blues-rock band on the planet right now!
Opening for BB @ 12years old?Lawd a mercy that is like an eighth grader playing for the Green Bay Packers !
Joe Bonamassa is a true musical prodigy, he started playing professionally with his father at age nine. He opened and toured with BB King during his summer vacation from middle school at age twelve. He now has his own record label and absolutely owns the blues/rock genre charts with a record 25 number one studio and live albums on the Billboard Blues/Rock charts. He surrounds himself with world class musician from all around the world. I suggest you check out his collaboration with Aussie legend Jimmy Barnes doing Stone Cold. His work with Beth Hart is awesome too. Joe has such a deep catalog that you could be reacting to him for years.
Thanks for the information.
Oh by the way, Joe opened for B.B. King when he was 12 years old. TWELVE! And I just loved watching Lulu get into this song. 😁😁
Everyone seems to react the same way when they hear this song. They just can't get that smile off their faces!
A great song that just makes you feel good.
Thanks for the reaction. Please check out more of Joe B.
I love Joe, & have collected most of his dvd concerts! Yes, he's the guitarist/vocalist.
Me too❤
Multi-Grammy winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Reese Wynans on keys, the amazing Anton Fig on Drums, Kirk Fletcher on second guitar, Michael Rhodes here on bass, those AMAZING horns and ladies singing back-up... Joe doesn't just play shows, he BRINGS IT. And he's a true musicologist and student of the blues and blues-rockers like this. 🙏
Joe is such a great guitarist, a friend of my was playing on the “ Celebration of David Bowie tour” last year doing a show in Burbank Ca when Joe joined them on stage to play the song “Let’s Dance” and a few more I was told he was a very nice and gracious person and a hell of a guitarist That’s kinda obvious. Haha
Awesome
Just go down the rabbit hole. He is a MONSTER and a Bad man! ❤ Guitar is underestimating! Joe is the singer guitarist.
Thanks for letting us know.
Love the three of you im an old country boy from Pennsylvania and relate to every one of your videos whether it's music or goats
Thank you so much for watching.
Kinda hooked on you guys love your passion
I was at that show. Joe Bonamassa.- The Three Kings Tour, at the Greek theater in Los Angeles, California. They’re all blues songs from BB King, Albert King, and Freddie King. The Greek Theatre is a great outdoor venue to see a show horrible for parking. Joe Bonamassa is one of the best blues/rock guitarist of this generation.
Lucky you
The Greek Theater is in Los Angeles. Joe is the guitarist/singer. He always is fantastic. Please do some more Joe!
Will do
I found him by accident on OPB doing a concert at Royal Albert Hall omg I watched the entire concert then the next day I bought 6 of his CDs lol, have been a fan for years I hope you play more, mountain time is my favorite of all it's amazing
Great reaction! Awesome three generations are enjoying this together! If you've never heard the Blues rock before this is an excellent first exposure! There are a lot of blues rockers but Joe is exceptional!
Yes, he is awesome.
The guy playing keys was in Stevie Ray Vaugn’s band.
Joe is from Utica, NY and one of the best blues guitarists in the world. His Keyboard player, Reese used to play for Stevie Ray Vaugh and is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I've seen him five times and can't wait to see him again! Great reaction!
Thanks
Seen him live twice and will see him again if I get another chance. He is truly a master on the guitar and a great showman!
just saw him last night in mass for the 15th time. the dude is something else. if you have never seen him live...go immediately.
I am glad that ya all met Joe ,when I first seen him & his band play ,they were doing a live session
with acoustic guitars ,that was years ago an I was hooked!..😎
Great reaction you 3!..👍👍👍
Thank you! We love Joe!
Wasn't expecting much, but what a GREAT reaction! I loved how much you ladies loved it. (p.s. I'm from the UK, not the US, but I'm pretty sure the Greek Theatre is in New York or L.A. ... not Greece!)
Glad you enjoyed it!
By the way, all three of Joe’s backup singers are Australian. From left to right, Juanita Tippins, Jade MacRae and Mahalia Barnes. The latter two are famous in their own right here in Australia, and Mahalia’s father is Australian rock legend Jimmy Barnes.
If you want some more suggestions for Joe’s other songs from this same concert “Live at the Greek Theatre”. My favourites are “I’ll Play the Blues For You” which is more of a traditional bluesy number and is the most popular song from that concert on RUclips for number of views, and “Hummingbird” which is 11 minutes long(!) and sounds more like a 1970s rock anthem. Plus “Riding With the Kings” which is a duet with Mahalia. In fact, you can’t go wrong with any of the songs from that concert really!
Thanks for the information. Added them to our list.
Joe is the guitar player
Joe B is the guitarist, his band is usually stellar. Beth Hart & Joe B Live "I'd rahter go blind" for the win...if you like this....THAT will blow your mind. ** you may want to check out Tedeschi Trucks Band too...his back up guitarist here is Kirk Fletcher ANOTHER amazing guitarist I've had the pleasure of seeing live....scorched earth campaign
Added it to our list.
Joe is the singer and main guitar player , yes
last matador of byonne, awesome!
The young lady in this group brought an immediate smile to my face. If you enjoyed this, there is nothing that Joe has ever done that you won't enjoy. I recommend that you check his entire list.
You gotta hear Joe B. playing with Beth Hart singing! "I'd Rather Go Blind." Or Joe's version of "Just Got Paid."
Added them to our list.
You need do Oktaf Kanis - Come On for the next reaction 💕

I have no words. Soooo fantastiiiic.
Joe is the bad ass on guitar. That man playing piano is Reese Wynans from Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. That bass player is Michael Rhodes who was the bass player on Lee Ann Womack's I Hope You Dance and he also played on countless other country artists albums. His discography is long.
GRANDMA: The Greek Theater isn't in Greece. It's in Los Angeles. Joe is the guitarist. He's versatile. Has a huge number of great performances. Some of his best are with singers Beth Hart & Ston Cold with singer Jimmy Barnes.
I love Lulu, she’s so into it! 😂
Mr. Reese Wynant killin' it on keyboards!
Joe is one of the best blues man ever and the professionalism of the whole band around him is top notch . The shortest back up singer is Mahalia Barns the daughter of great Aussie rock legend Jimmy Barns . Jimmy has done a few collaborations with Joe to , Stone cold is one of the best . You might also like Jimmy in Bow river 2003 version , its a musical blast from Australia's best.
A brilliant reaction, ladies. You have great chemistry between you. And I agree, I just love Joe & his band.
Thanks
just seen him in concert he was wonderful best concert ever
Lucky you
Reminds me of Stevie Ray Vaughan , and that's a good thing .
The guy on the keys, Reese Waynans, was from Double Trouble, SRV's band.
@@RMForbes505 Yep. And that’s why Joe and his band should do a rendition of SRV’s cover of “Superstition”. They’d rock it!
LOL Probably the best guitarist in the world these days and still a lot of people haven’t heard of him. This just goes to show that the garbage that’s pushed on us 24/7 these days by the media drowns out a lot of the good stuff. You have to work real hard to find the good stuff these days!
And the Greek Theatre is in Los Angeles. 😉
Great reaction, by the way!
Thanks
This is a cover. One of his originals is called Drive and the acoustic version is outstanding.
Added it to the list.
The piano player is Reece Wynans, he used to be with Stevie Ray Vaughn and Donald Trump
Donald Trump? Don't you love autocorrect ? LOL
Girls you don't get no better than this man especially with his second voice/Guitar .... he was opening for BB King when he was 12 years old . Him and Beth Hart are mind-blowing as well as him and Jimmy Barnes together . I highly highly recommend checking his catalog out. And I just happened to scroll down and saw just a few reactions you all had done and I subbed right then . Keep on reacting to this kinda music and I your channel should grow tremendously .
On the keyboards is the inimitable Reese Wynans..formerly with Stevie Ray Vaughn and has played with a number of the big names
Joe def has it going on. You need to hear beth and joe "Ill take care of you""" YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MIND!!!!!
Make sure you vidit jis channel. There are many entire performances in the playlist.
He has so many different sounds. He has evolved since he was 12 over and over. No 2 albums are the same. He just had his 27th #1 blues album. In his entire career 47 albums and he is only 46.❤
The keyboardist is hall of fame Reece Wynans ( who played with Stevie ray vaghn). Man on the bass is hall of fame Michael Rhodes. Back up singer are top notch one of them is daughter of Aussie great Jimmy Barnes. Joe surrounds himself with greatness.
He sure does.
RIP Michael Rhodes.
totally agree I'd rather go blind and Stone Cold need to be your next reactions. Good luck getting out of that rabbit hole LOL😂
Watch him and Robert Randolph dueling at the Crossroads festival doing this song
Reese Wynans on the keyboards - a double Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member. Check him out.
You have to see Joe and Beth Hart "I'd Rather Go Blind" live from Amsterdam
If you like this you should react to his song "angel of mercy" from the same concert. Its absolute fire 🔥
Slow gin, the song of yesterday, one last soul etc, joe est un tout bon.
Joe is an awesome player, but you need to react to one of the players that heavily influenced him, the legendary Rory Gallagher. For some very cool blues, check out "Calling Card" from his 1977 Hammersmith Odeon performance. The Rolling Stones tried to recruit him and Brian May credits him with helping Brian find his guitar sound. Rory was a multi-instrumentalist and crossed genres between rock, blues, and country blues. Please take a listen!
Added him to our list.
Welcome to rock/blues sisters
Check out Mountain Time and Woke up Dreaming! Family is awesome too
Mama knows!
You need to listen to Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart doing I'd Rather Go Blind. Make sure to get the Live From Amsterdam version.
I see you found the"King of the Blues",my guitar buddy thinks hes overrated, but I disagree.
You should listen to Joe, and Beth hart play I'd rather go blind. Joe is listed as the best guitarist to come along in the past 15 years or so. I like your channel
Thanks, we will add that to our list.
And you guys are too cute 😍
Making great music 🎶
Try “Drive” by Joe Bonamassa
Donna, next time you wanna dance your a** off, give me a call!....great reaction..try I'd Rather Go Blind with Beth Hart...be prepared to be stunned!
