I have watched so many videos on testing fuses with multimeter (another methods). This is the first one I have found that truly explains what to do for beginners! A lot of these people assume that we know what the hell they're talking about. On the other hand, you have explained things very well. Thank you for all of your help!
I felt like you were my dad showing me 😂 thank you so much, it was really nice that you went into details and even showed us what a bad fuse looks like!
Not to be a 5VZ-FE snob, but i mean…it lends credibility. 👏👏 Trying to chase down turn signal fuse issues on my 99 unicorn 4runner, and so…nice to see similar to what I’m working on. 😎👍
Great video, I checked all my files as you perfectly directed. I found that #16 & #21 where not lighting up, did the oems the fuses are fine. I replaced them anyways and still no lighting up. Yes my car is set to on.
Excellent video. So question. If you have a fuse that is bolted to the positive battery. For instance on my Kia Sedona I have a 60 AMP Cooling Fan Fuse. There is also a 150 AMP Fuse for the Alternator that is bolted down there as well. The rest of the fuses are in the fuse box. Would I just put my Digital Test Meter Positive Side on the Metal Side that gets bolted and take the black terminal & put on a piece of metal to see if it has a reading? I am using a Digitial Multimeter
What does it mean when oy 2 if dozens interior fuses light up? And odd that the one that lights up is dedicated for heated mirror which I dont even have

Thank you so much!
Thank you! Great simple explanation for a beginner, exactly what I needed!
No problem and thank you for the feedback!
Excellent. My wife watched it and now wants her own multi-meter. 😅
Thank you! Haha, awesome to hear! Multimeters don't always get used a lot, but when you need them, you need them.
Thx for the straight forward tutorial. Five stars.
Thank you so much!
Excellent beginners video...thank you for taking the time to teach us beginners

No problem, happy to help!
You have to remove those rectangular cube fuse to test?
What does it mean when oy 2 if dozens interior fuses light up? And odd that the one that lights up is dedicated for heated mirror which I dont even have
Is it ok to check fuses while truck or car is running with a multimeter on continuity? Jus to be sure thanks
Is it best to hold the metal stem of the tester while testing, or the handle? ))
By the handles.
Good vid. Thx
Thank you!
thanks
No problem!
Hi, can i test continuity without removing the fuse if the ignition is not on? (car key removed) or maybe disconecting the car battery ?
Thats how I check fuses with no power on. Its quick and easy
Thanks 👍
Hey why didn't the starter the 7.5 fuse lights up when u test it
The circuit wasn't activated which is why it didn't illuminate.
You mean I shouldn't use the fuses I bought from Princess Auto? They must be good, I paid $20.00 for 500 of them!
?
Why there is no power on both sides of the fuse although the switch is on and the fuse is not blown????
Could be a faulty relay. You'll need to check the circuit on a wiring diagram to determine what exactly the whole circuit consists of.
Can’t you just test for continuity?
Oops, it was at the end, my bad
