It was nice that your dash is identical to mine on my 2000 Camry. I'm putting in a single DIN with CD & XM. I'm still figuring out all the parts in my Metra kit that I'm going to use with a pocket just below the head unit. I will be putting 2 amps / 1 on a sub. U gave me a good idea of how I'm going to run the wires. Just need to find the grommet whole on the driver's side to run my heavy Amp wire to the battery. Thanks for all the great tips.
They call the Camry, Grandma's car. Other than worrying about the timing belt, And water pump, the car is reliable as a Banzai Bill. Also, if you ever get that SRS light, and the car hasn't really been in an accident, it may be the Electronic Control Module, that is located in the lower portion, of the very place he is working to replace the radio. I had it looked at, and the guy with the $300 dollar computer couldn't even figure it out why the SRS light was on. My old man replaced the electronic control module, and the SRS(Air Bag) light went out. It helped to pass inspection. The check engine light was because the battery was failing. For some reason now car inspectors are finding bulbs missing for the check engine and SRS light.

How is the sound quality after the swap did you gain o lose quality and there was an Amp used or no I would like to upgrade the unit and add Amp and swap the speakers but not sure what to choose

Don’t use background music with words. It makes it understand what you are saying.
Just letting you know the bolts don’t need to be so tight do maybe use a hand wrench next time so you can get a feel of how tight it actually is
