This game is just amazing. It can’t be beat. The only thing that can beat. This game is another marvel Spider-Man game.
Playing as venom was crazy
We need to keep playing venom for real permanently cause he was fire going. Definitely the best if not the greatest mission of all time. Harry ignite treason from his high school best friend Peter to summon this monster beast called venom. But im sure in the end peter aka of course spiderman will save him. Im about to finish the story I guess soon. Even mj was a shocker turning into a symbiote known as scream. Wow just wow all the missions and boss battles and cinematic were great its like a literal movie. Caboose is right send flowers to insomniac for the best game of the year

Insomniac really did venom justice in this game. This version of venom is the one we’ve been waiting for. Playing this dude is an indescribable feeling as a spidey fan. Guys, play this game. It’s the best spiderman game of all time

@yaboidraken6220 ngl story wise the og venom movie did venom way better. This venom is just evil to be evil when that's not venom's character. Plus they kinda toss in 40 years of venom lore in 20 minutes.

Exactly! That charging section where you first learn how to do that feels like something out of that scene where Natasha is running from The Hulk in The Helicarrier in Avengers.

There is nothing more satisfying than seeing someone having such a fun time and annihilating everything as Venom
I love how much easier it was for Venom to beat Kraven than it was for Symbiote peter. Really shows the power level difference

I never wanted a MISSION REPLAY feature so bad until I played this mission
I was freaking out when I got to play as venom like it fakes you out thinking you were going to get a Bossfight and then venom throws you through a wall and then you play as him🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥20/10 best game ever
I love how they fake you out thinking you’re going to fight Venom. Also note…when Venom sticks his tongue out you can tell the symbiote wants to bite Peter’s head off but that little bit of humanity Harry has left chooses to throw Peter instead, removing temptation to eat him.
I was expecting venom to be playable but I didn’t think they would actually make it happen. Insomniac gave us that cherry on top and it was a good one. This is game of the year without question. 🔥🔥🔥
It is easily the best story in gaming this year, but I don't know if it's polished enough to be considered best against Zelda or Mario in gameplay.
@DA_BOID see idk about story. It felt like after this mission, the story took a massive drop in quality. I loved it up until they threw in venom lore just for the sake of it and went the whole web of shadows angle. It felt like the final act should've been written better.

@@zzirfamo24 Both Zelda and Mario games have won multiple GOTY awards for different games in different years. There are currently 37 Spider-Man games. Not one has won an award this far. It would appear that Spider-Man is indeed not in the same realm, but maybe this will be the year he joins the greats in gaming.
It may have been for a brief time but Insomniac went 110% with playable Venom.
Even going into Photo Mode he's got poses for ground and air shots and face expressions, which is beyond fantastic.

Take notes Sony pictures, this is how you do Venom even if it isn’t Eddie. But I have to say this was the perfect way to give Venom his introduction and give Kraven his demise.
Yes and no. Venom was great here but after this mission it really goes down hill writing wise. Plus it felt like they made venom evil fir tge sake of being evil when that's no what venom is.
@@cerebralassassin2185 Well that’s your opinion and no Venom wasn’t just *pure evil*, throughout the game Harry wanted to carrying out his mom’s dream by healing the world and the symbiote wanted to help achieve it but in a twisted negative way. And because it healed and keeping Harry alive from his disease it makes sense why Venom would turn everyone else into symbiotes

This mission was amazing but I think it wasn't the dopest mission in the entire game. Imo the Mysterio boss fight when's that cake. When he flipped the entire city up side down...my jaw hit the floor. Actually it went through my floor...had to go downstairs to pick it up 😂

I love how much of a callback/homage this entire mission and Venom’s gameplay was to Ultimate Spider-Man. Right down to the backbreaking move you can do being almost exactly like the one you could do in that game.

In this actual time is the best game of Spider-Man that I ever play so much reference and there so much more to see I cannot wait for the first DLC also I beat the game yesterday with platinum. Let's see how they Mind-blowing us on Marvel's Spider-Man 3. And can't forget next will have Marvel's Wolverine so this is gonna be crazy.

I’m gonna be honest. I was actually really surprised we got to play as Venom. But then again when I had seen that cutscene what would we have really done if we just switched back to peter? It wouldve been and a pointless mission with one cutscene.

they should have just let us choose to be anti venom(not spiderman wearing anti venom suit) after finishing the main story and have similar skillset like venom so we can feel like we are playing as venom but instead as anti venom

I really like this take on Venom. He was a true alien, planning a full scale invasion, “to heal the world.” No clue how a game with him would be, since he’s so villain coded.
They made him too evil. It just didn't feel like venom after the invasion part.

My game glitched, I was softlocked at the kraven fight. Kraven was invisible. When I reloaded, I got spider-cube as peter, and then during the chase, Venom fell through the map.

I Literally Just Beat Spider-Man 2 It Was Beyond Amazing
The glazing is crazy, but I think that tho is is defiantly going to be goty, I just think that its sad that you have to play soooooo much just to get the symbiotic suit and venom, the longer you play the better it gets, it needs to be spread across the story in my opinion so that we can have fun throughout the ENTIRE game not just beat sandman, and dip into side missions forever
