Loved this. I may be 64 years old but I've acquire an obsession with martial arts training. Not sure how much I can do on my own by watching RUclips videos, but it's better than nothing :-) I'm paticularly attracted to the online training provided by various Shaolin temples and Shaolin-trained shifus... thank you

I had been doing self-guided 18 palm training for a few years now. I thought that would prepare me for a guided workout. I was wrong, lol. This was a tough workout, I am absolutely drenched with sweat. Very humbly thankful I found this video. Bravery. Progress. Everyday.

this is a perfect work out after my 1/2 ashtanga primary series, this is what i have been waiting for. i have bought the 2 books and some dvds but i was not smart enough to cobble this workout together . i love it. thank you shei shei Ni
You may want to consider doing ashtanga yoga after these exercises to relax.

Thanks to your workouts I've gotten stronger i use to be able to do 5 pushups at most at a time. I did the first 25 in 1 try. So I've gotten stronger 🙏🙏🙏

@Tiny Boy The levels of electrolytes in your body can become too low or too high. This can happen when the amount of water in your body changes. The amount of water that you take in should equal the amount you lose. If something upsets this balance, you may have too little water (dehydration) or too much water (overhydration). Some medicines, vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, and liver or kidney problems can all upset your water balance. Treatment helps you to manage the imbalance. It also involves identifying and treating what caused the imbalance.

Shifu Yan Lei The 18 palms done at end of video are very interesting. I learned a breathing form years ago that resembles this Called, Jin Gung/ Gold Steel form. Used to harden and strengthen the body, bringing chi to the surface. How common are the 18 palms? And have you heard or seen other similar forms during your years of training?
