    why is everyone so concerned with speed ( 6.1 sec vs 4.9 sec)? Are they working in an assembly line where they get paid by the bolt screwed?

    It's a stubby mid-torque impact wrench. 650 ft lbs is a lot for it to break. I own the DCF921, and it has never failed me working on my car. However, sometimes you need to bust out the heavier tools, as there is a limit to the force that you're going to get from an impact with such a compact housing.

    I’m torn between this tool and the kobalt next gen 24max 1/2 impact wrench. The kobalt is rated higher but all my other tools are dewalt.
    Currently at Home Depot 199 for two batt charger combo you get dcf921B free. At Lowe’s the kobalt with batt, changer and bag 149 right now.

      I would just stick with the Dewalt. Not worth dealing with another battery system.

      HD is also doing one where if you buy the powerstack battery kit you get 2 free tools, one of which can be one of the 6ah flexvolt batteries. I just bought that one, so 2 powerstack batteries, one 6ah flexvolt, and this impact for like $350. Pretty good deal if you ask me

      @@basedtony3041 that is a good deal. I wound up getting the 6ah, 4ah XR batt kit with the free tool. Chose the 921. Just came in the mail the other day. Ran out and took off one lug nut haha

      Get with the program ickstess, and stay with your platform. I am a fan of Kobalt, and I like DeWalt as well, but it seems like a clear choice here, chippy?

    Bro , seriously? Who told you that vinegar can create rust , you got it all wrong, vinegar removes rust😂 , if you wana create rust , just put it in saltwater , get some wate and put a bunch of salt in it , I guarantee you in 5 minutes it will get rusty

      Folks use vinegar to add rust patina to steel sheet all the time.

    So the batteries are the same ones used as Dewalts high torque models? Stuck between buying the dcf921 and an m12 1/2 inch but not having to buy a high torque kit as opposed to bare tool is swaying my decision towards the Dewalt

    • @toolamanjaro929
      @toolamanjaro929  8 месяцев назад

      Works with any of the Dewalt ‘20V’ batteries. It won’t put out quite the rated torque with a small battery as with a big one.

      @@toolamanjaro929 the kit I’m looking at is with 2 5ah batteries with the dcf921, whereas I’d have to buy another kit if I went team red

    That shallow socket is not doing justice. Use a deepwell socket, should zip it right off.
