I thought this video review was absolutely well done. I hate reviews that don't take a critical lens to the product and are basically shills for the OEM. If the reviewer wants to test it on a dirty shop floor and it worked then I'd be reasonably safe to vacuum my baseboards. But if he only tested it on crown moulding cobwebs then how am I supposed to know if it will have sufficient power to vacuum some sawdust? Seems the comments on this video are unreasonably critical of the review. The reviewer hit all the points I was interested in, and did it is a very concise manner. Kuddos. I appreciated your honesty/authenticity. Dewalt isn't going to be sponsoring you anytime soon, but I'll happily watch your video reviews in the future. Thanks for posting this review!

Op does a very good job with detailing everything about the vaccum but my only negative is only view about it is as a "shop vac" doesnt consider if your drilling holes or cutting some drywall in someones house. You dont need a shop vac just something that needs to suck up minimal dust/debris to get out quick that light and versitile. Without needing to pull out a acctual vaccum

I thought your review was great, I was going to buy one thinking that it would meet all my needs but in fact its really only good for dust busting. You got me thinking about vacuums to a higher level too so that I'll be looking at others more critically.

Got mine for $99.99 from Amazon a little over a year ago and you can't beat it, especially at that price! It's been absolutely perfect for the cars and I've used it all over in places I never would've thought like at a storage unit and cleaning out a friend's old shed. One of the best uses I've found is to clean my dryer's lint trap! I always hated peeling the lint off the screen and having dust get on everything and breathing it in, but now I have this awesome little vacuum hanging right there on the wall in the garage next to my washer and dryer! I don't even touch the lint now. Just suck it right up.

A set of ratchet spanners is cheaper than the wera joker set and the individual tools are more compact with a smaller swing arc to work in tighter spaces. The jokers are also relatively weak so the only advantage over the ratchet spanners is size adaptability. Only covering ~3 fastener sizes per tool is not very adaptable considering they're roughly the size/weight of 2x traditional ratchet spanners, so I just don't see the point of them The plier wrench has so many additional uses, and the ability to avoid marring surfaces is a huge benefit for things like AN fittings or display fixtures

I know this is an old review - level one has a weird 'step' behavior if you keep holding the trigger after it stops initially. It will still drive with plenty of torque, but won't impact like you said.

In my application, electric guitar repair, I don't think it matters. The crack in the neck is forced closed by string tension so it won't ever be stressed in the opposite direction at any point. So Im thinking glue strength doesn't really matter. I plan on using hide glue so it can be reversed later if I screw up or if I want it professionally repaired at some point.

It transfers horribly on camera, but I have the m12 surge and it’s awesome for working indoors and tight spots. Doesn’t blow the eardrums out. Good video, good tool. The torque on it is awesome too, kinda really able to get a feel and tighten more precise than with the regular impact.

I did a quick search on RUclips for DRO Install, DRO Usage, DRO PCD, DRO ABS-olute vs INC-riment, and other DRO+ the feature you want. I was pleasantly surprised to find all of these answers. Also, your 'users manual' link does not work for me right now, (maybe later but not now), so I can not compare your manual to any of the other manuals I have collected trying to figure out what you are trying to figure out. @roberttrescott2741 and @jasonalper7898, in these comments, have good advice as well. Thanks for making this video available for us to see your +/- progress.

Honestly, ALL of dewalts compact vacuums are terrible compared to the competition. The people in the comments that are upset you gave it a “bad review” are dewalt simps, pay them no mind. We need honest reviewers on RUclips, not corporate shills. I myself am a dewalt fan, and even I know that dewalt is really slack with their R&D on compact vacuums. Literally all of their previous compact vacs are awful. Which is a shame because their shop vacs are really good, so it’s weird they drop the ball over and over again with their compact vacs. Great review. Keep up the good work 👍
