*Works great. We have used it as a grill **MyBest.Kitchen** and a griddle Grease catcher could stand some improvement as some liquid usually gets on the counter top. Grills/griddles are easy to remove and insert.*
Instead of foil under the griddle, how about a silicone grill mats? I got a set of 2 for $10. They're good for temps up to 450 degrees & can be used on the grill or in the oven.
I grew up with griddles. Raised my 3 boys with griddles. The boys are grown now. We need a new one, but we can't find the right one. 🙏 So now I'm on You Tubing journey.😅 Gee your fun and make me laugh.🤣😂😂🤣🤣
Your video is so timely. I have been on the fence about this griddle for some time. After your excellent review, I ordered it and it will be here in a few days. Thank you!
I have one of these and I absolutely love it!!! So easy to use when we get pancake cravings. But the killer feature is how easy it is to store. One downside is the length of the cord. It's pretty short. So unless you've got room for this on a counter with ready access to an outlet, you're gonna need an extension.
I had a Wolfgang Puck electric griddle. It was O.K. I bought a cast iron griddle off Amazon for $35. It's a little too small but workable. Cast iron holds/retains heat energy best.
It’s the way to go! I have one for meats etc and one for pancakes, tortillas and the like. Nothing worse than pancakes that taste like a cheeseburger. 😀
Never owned one in my 35 years as a home cook. After getting on the smash burger train, making Papusa’s and home made Tortillas for the first time, I immediately knew what i needed. Now i used it all the time 🤣
I saw that my dad had a griddle and I instantly fell in love with it when I used it, so I bought myself one, and now I’m gonna be making pancakes ALL the time 😂
2 oz makes an average burger 3 oz fits a large burger bun. 10 second press with wide spatula. 3 min a side makes a perfect patty. A great smash burger needs that crusty fond. Then add cheese if that's your thing. Toast buns. I use mayonnaise instead of butter. Comes out perfect.
Hi, great video thank you for sharing . I know you have mentioned it is 19in but I would like to know 19in by what? It's important for me to get the dimension before I decide because I am shopping for one of those. thank you in advance
I’ve got one from the late 80s that’s hitting the garbage soon. Definitely need a new one. Only issue w the hibachi style cooking is that I can do more faster & w better seasoning in my wok. For me, my wok is the most versatile cooking appliance, errr pan rather. ☺️
We got an electric griddle for a wedding present. It's great! Cook alot of food on it. Enjoy your channel very much! Would like to see Instant pot recipes & air fryer recipes. Stay safe & God bless!
I like the griddle, my problem is cooking burgers or other items that put off grease or steam and not having a vent over the griddle. Does this bother other people?
A large non-stick griddle is always a great choice for large crowds👍🏽 Fun watching Nicole use one😊💯 How about a Wok tutorial..?🥘🤷🏽♂️ Love All Recipes! Happy New Year!
Looks decent, I have had a few electric griddles, and still love my old lodge stove top, cast iron, but it's like they say, once you go Blackstone, you don't go back, 28'' of well seasoned iron, get's the job done, metal utensil approved, and because I use it outside, (especially with bacon), when I'm done cooking, the only thing to clean is the griddle, no cabinets, no countertops.
Looks Fab .... and yeah, I never owned a griddle.... jeez.... all those girlie sleepovers and dirtying multiple pans..... what the heck..... Great video Nicole!
Looks like a decent contender. Anyone have any more experience on how even the heating is, orbknow of one that has more even heating? That's my primary concern.
Hi Nicole! Like the video, very entertaining! I trust your review, but instead , why not use a griddle long enuf to place over 2 burners in stove ? Also, is the Our Place pan really worth it?
Biggest problem I have when I use my 19" Presto is that over a few times I cooked pancakes and French toast I found the surface starts to sink and I hardly have the surface above 300F. It's good for the surface area though.
Thats because the heating element doesn't cover the entire cooking area. There is a giant spot in the center where there is no heating element. they say even heat but thermodynamics says thats impossible with this.
Hello. Wonderful product review. I would get one if it weren't just me and a dog. Lol. I liked that tilt and drain feature for sure. Where do you put your grease after draining? I watched one of your videos and used your tinfoil tip for putting small amounts of grease. Also, were those pancakes homemade? And I wouldn't mind seeing a single size grill for burgers or chicken breasts or a single serving blender with the portable cup! That would be awesome since many of us are looking to shed lbs this time of year. I been looking at the Hamilton.
I just got mine and had a question. The instructions tell you to unfold the legs and lock them in place. There is no lock and just unfolding them allows the griddle to rock back and forth. Is this what yours does. If that's the case, it doesn't seem safe to have a griddle that could collapse while very hot. Please let me know.
@@ImagineSomeCoolNameHere Sarcasm often gets "lost in the translation" over the internet in comment sections such as this. I didn't get it the first time either.
When the griddle is folded, the bacon grease drawer slid out and spilled grease all over. Is there some kind of a latch to keep the drawer in and secure?
My pesto different model developed ash sediment at the control entry point. Fire waiting to happen! I don't trust Pesto brand. This is my second griddle at $25.00 price point. I am going to purchase BroilKing $150.00, Made in USA. I would have bought the first time if I had known about them.
some of the best steaks with the best outer crusts we're done on a pancake griddle. I have a little Kenmore 10x15 griddle that's always perfect for burgers and thick steaks.
#1 Even cooking. Everything else comes in after that. Also, is there anybody over 8 that doesn't know not to put the plug in water? Pancakes were too thick though. I like mine thin...aka, crepes.

I'm sold I've been looking at these for sometime now. Thank you for this review

I have a griddle for outdoors and love it that would be nice for inside in cold weather

Have had two of these. They are great for a few months, but develop hot spots quickly.
@Stephanie Crabtree Some portions of the griddle gets hotter than other parts. Making it difficult to cook your food evenly.
Enjoyed the review. Gotta say those were about the prettiest pancakes Ive ever seen.
Best part of a griddle pan is the saved bacon grease for cooking 🇨🇦
False. Get rid of it.
Excellent presentation!!!
You're smart and witty Nicole, big fan!

If I was looking for a griddle I would certainly get the Presto.
I got a Toastmaster, and it works pretty good!
I agree everyone should definitely own a griddle!
Ooh I’m due for an upgrade! The presto griddle I have had been with me since 2002!

Just got one last year and mainly use it for breakfast. Corned beef hash cooks perfectly crispy on it.
Thanks for the review. I’m ordering one now 👍

Oh good idea! Yes watching the cook is fun
This was good ol', fun Nicole and Camera Boy! Lately, she hasn't been showing as much personality, so this was fun. Gonna have to order this griddle!
Versatile and Easy to Use and Clean!
What about splatter, like when you make burgers, steak etc?
I love your show I love your voice thanks for your videos
Is it healthy to cook on? Does it have Teflon or a safer metal?

That's the point of non stick. It make cleaning a breeze.
I would hav loved to have had that when my family was young and at home. Good homemade food quick
They're still good for singles and couples. You just get a smaller one.
Why did you grease the nonstick griddle when you cooked the pancakes?
It makes the pancakes taste so much better.
A griddle is essential. This one looks good. I've always used a thick steel griddle. This is interesting.
wow, Amazing and looks so delicious. Thank you so much!
Looks Fab .... and yeah, I never owned a griddle.... jeez.... all those girlie sleepovers and dirtying multiple pans..... what the heck.....

Could you do a review on electric skillets ?
Great review.
Thank you for this video you've got a new subscriber
Looks like a decent contender. Anyone have any more experience on how even the heating is, orbknow of one that has more even heating? That's my primary concern.
Looks like a winner
Growing up I made grilled ham and cheese sandwiches for me and my brother. Latch key kids. 🤗
Brilliant video. Never even knew these existed
I just bought mines yesterday
Pure awesomeness 😉🤩

Love my presto griddle!! Breakfast for the family is sooooo much quicker
Can i make chapati or flat bread on it?

Do they make this in 230V for the non-American market?

Presto makes good stuff. I have their compact waffle iron and had the pizza oven.
I wore out the pizza oven.
Good but not great. Its affordable.

Same!!
I threw in a like right when she started throwing around those spatulas and said hibachi!
I love your show
I wish the griddles came with covers..I don't like the splash on counter I swear
Save the bacon grease in a screw lid jar
No.
Look you have a gas stove so that grilled would be great for us electric stove top people
Well, maybe? Its mostly just an energy saver, but does also offer much more real estate.
@@ImagineSomeCoolNameHere Sarcasm often gets "lost in the translation" over the internet in comment sections such as this. I didn't get it the first time either.
I sure wished I had asked Santa for one...lol
I love an electric griddle, but please don’t use metal on it. It will ruin the nonstick surface.
Don't forget that ceramic is also non stick.
You haven’t talked about the potential for peeling and warping.
You gotta know what your doing 😉
👍👍
I've heard this griddle has extreme cold spots 😞

$96 in Canada
Yeah I live in Canada and I see them at the store and they're really expensive
Got mine for 30
Save all your cooked grease in a stainless steel grease pot, filter it out and give it to a facility that makes biodiesel fuel.
"price matters to me" says the lady in a kitchen with TWO gas range tops that cost over 4k
You don't use oil or butter for pancakes 🤦🏻♂️

The fact that no one knows whether nonstick cookware causes cancer is ridiculous.
warning it is 70 something now
I have a griddle but never use it.
I put a paper towel in my trap to help with clean up
Commercial disguised as a review. Well done
I don’t , after this I might
Are you kidding! No metal utensils on non-stick ANYTHING!
griddles...
I'm curious, was this a paid presentation for the griddle? I like the griddle but I can't help but be curious. 😊
Why because it lowers the credibility?
Smash burger? That’s a normal burger. Smash burgers are thin.
You're from down south and it takes awhile!
Legs buckle down
Yeah….those weren’t smash burgers!!
omg wifey
Manual meat grinder.
Like off of Sweeny todd
WAFFLE MAKER????
What a woman.
Cute wife 😉
Damb girl, that burger did look good! But, not as good as you! You can cook for me any time! 555
I got scared for the grill when she started flinging those spatulas around.
I'm just here for the hot chick

Presto Griddles are JUNK! Your video is worthless! The drip tray is poorly fitted and breaks every time.
Waffle machine
Changed to a thumbs down after I saw the sheep with a mask. 👎
