    A little hint from my side. A single-size spoke key with an appropriate finger support and a 3-side nipple grip (ex. TB-SW20) would make this job way more pleasant for you. Those "universal" wrenches make your fingers sore quickly and with a higher tension range there is risk of rounding the nipple.

      I have the skills and knowledge for wheel lacing , but it is difficult when you have hand fractures , scaffoid , carpal tunnel . Wheel lacing tires me out quickly , and I charge clients free labour as the bicycle industry is damaged by inflation and people are cash poor .

    8:34 what is the point of using the wood stick and applying movements on the spokes ? It seems to me it is to make the crossing point of each pair of spokes more near the center of the wheel .. but I don’t know if I’m guessing correctly nor what it is meant for

    • @NiceBikeService
      @NiceBikeService  27 дней назад +1

      This is done in order to “seat” the spokes, if you do not do this, then after riding, the tension of the spokes may weaken, because the spokes will sit down naturally😁

So eine Arbeit in dieser Perfektion dauert sicherlich 30-45 Minuten pro Rad, wenn du bereit bist 100 Euro fürs Zentrieren zweier Laufräder auszugeben findest du einen passenden Radladen. Wenn du meinst das dir für nen 10er jemand eine Acht rauszieht wird das Ergebnis ein anderes sein.

    I have the following problem with the rear wheel of my bicycle. The spokes on the right side (the side with the gears) are much more tensioned than those on the left side. In fact, what I meant to say is that the spokes on the left side have quite low tension, while the spokes on the right side have too much tension. This happens even though the wheel is centered in the middle of the frame. I can figure out what is the problem.

    it's little easy to make the wheel's balances(lateral, radial). but the very important thing is consistency of the right wheel shape.
    if the spoke tension doesn't even, then the wheel shape should be spoiled within a relatively short time

    • @NiceBikeService
      @NiceBikeService  2 месяца назад +1

      Unfortunately, it is not always possible to correct such a deformation (we call it an egg 😊), since the spokes in these places need to be tightened more and they can burst while riding, so it is better to leave a slight deformation but the wheel will be evenly tensioned

    • @makantahi3731
      @makantahi3731 2 месяца назад

      @@NiceBikeService you didn't even try and you had to tighten a few spokes and maybe loosen some, it's always easier to pull in the protrusion if it's a really awkward situation you can use a hammer and a board to hit while it's leaning against the wheel

    • @richardlee2488
      @richardlee2488 2 месяца назад +1

      A bicycle rim is so weak that they can be pulled straight fairly easily either side to side or up and down. Motorcycle rims are a lot more difficult.

    Je ne sais pas retendre les rayons d'une roue c'est pas du tout évident de plus je n'ai pas le matériel, j'ai 2 jeux de roues que je peux alterner, j'ai un jeu à rayons classiques et un jeu à rayons plats et je dirais que les problèmes de rous voilées sont plus importants avec les rayons plats et j'aurais cru le contraire, je ne sais même pas régler les vitesses indexées je le fais faire, actuellement je roule sur un seul pignon le plus dur, mais pour démarrer,passer des pentes c'est pas drôle, c'est comme ci en auto vous abordiez une côte en 5 eme le moteur va peiner et bien c'est pareil en vélo mais le moteur c'est vous, par contre depuis que je le laisse comme cela je transforme mes jambes en vérin, bon j'ai rdv cette semaine mais je vais essayer au maximum de garder cette méthode c'est efficace

      Cherche Bleau UP sur RUclips, il y a un tuto détaillé en français. La technique pour les roues, en gros, c'est de mettre par exemple deux rizlan de chaque côté (ou de le faire avec les patins si le vélo a des patins). Quand ça touche d'un côté, tu tends les rayons autour de la zone où ça touche du côté opposé (pour ramener la jante de l'autre côté (si ça touche à droite, tu sers à gauche) et pour équilibrer, tu peux détendre un peu ceux du côté où ça touche (côté droit dans mon exemple).
      Le mieux, c'est d'avoir un appareil pour mesurer la tension. Comme le mieux, c'est d'avoir une tension uniforme, tu remets tous les rayons à la même tension, ce qui va complètement déséquilibrer la roue, puis tu corriges petit à petit et à la fin, tu essaies d'avoir une tension approchante sur chaque rayon..
      Après sinon, Decathlon le fait pour 20 € la roue.
      J'avais quelques rayons qui faisait du bruit en danseuse sur ma roue avant donc je les ai resserés et après, j'ai du dévoiler un peu car la roue n'était plus équilibré et le disque frottait par endroit. En retouchant les endroits où ça frottait, j'ai pu faire en sorte que le disque ne frotte plus, comme avant.
      En soit, ce n'est pas compliqué, même si c'est mieux avec l'outil adéquat (on en trouve des simples à 90 € sur amazon, j'en acheterai un sous peu pour vérifier complètement mes roues cet hiver, là j'ai juste corrigé vite fait car j'ai encore besoin du vélo régulièrement et que je ne peux pas le bloquer une semaine pour l'instant), une fois qu'on a compris le principe, c'est seulement une question de minutie et de patience.

      @@HieiTF76 merci très sincèrement, j'ai noté les coordonnées que vous m'avez donné, avant dans ma ville et tout a proximité il y avait deux excellents vendeurs mais surtout réparateurs de vélos ces deux commerces ( cause retraite ) ont été repris, mais plus rien à voir des gens qui cherchent surtout à vendre, c'est un peu comme tout les commerces, le fric surtout le fric avec un minimum de travail. Il y a un peu plus de deux ans j'ai donné mon vélo pour une révision générale à un artisan à 3 kms de chez moi, il a changé la chambre à air arrière ( je ne sais pas pourquoi ? ) Facture 100€ et je ne sais vraiment pas ce qu'il a fait, resserrer des trucs par ci par là bref du vent et justement j'avais demandé pour dévoiler les roues...bon pas triste.
      Pour Decathlon autant l'atelier vélo était sérieux il y a quelques années autant il est devenu sans sérieux, ce n'est peut être pas général mais dans cette ville c'est ainsi, en tout état de cause merci encore pour vos informations.

      It's not 2 mm that we need to measure, but the difference between the thickness of the new disc and the worn disc, and our caliper has a rather significant error
