My favorite moment of Tormented Souls 1 was the floppy disk puzzle, it felt great to be rewarded as an old gamer for knowing how these used to work.
You have no idea what sort of light bulb moment it was 😂 or perhaps you did..... I felt old but rewarded for my wisdom in my old age
I forget about the stupid lock of the floppy discs, honestly I don't think is a good idea.
I'm so glad you guys are making a sequel. I enjoyed the first game so much and still have it installed to this day.

The mansion and the advice at the beginning abiut gore and violence and the other world and the Monster design of silent Hill. Precious! That's tight. I liked the first one quite a lot.
I knew exactly what it was when I heard the piano peak through the ambience, the audio in the first game is unmistakable. Streaming this on day one! TS is one of the best games in the genre and even though we didn't need a sequel, now I don't want to live in a world without one.

I am definitely gonna buy the new tormented souls game. I am so glad that somebody besides capcom created such a beautiful survival horror game. First part was probably one of my all time favorite games. Please keep it up and I hope the sequel will be just as cool and the puzzles will be as entertaining.

This one came out of left field. I played the first one and I loved it. Those door puzzles mid-game trying to figure out the notes left on the doors were annoying but a real good throwback to the era of annoying puzzles.
I would never have expected a sequel and I am happy that we got one.

Just finished playing the first one and I will without a doubt get the second one. This franchise has so much potential to be a standout in the survival horror genre. Enemies were so well placed I would curse at them as soon as they were down! Pure survival horror!
I really loved the first game. Tormented Souls and Signalis were some of the best classic style horror games ive played. Will definitely buy the next game and got my eye on Astral Rot as well

Con la creacion de TORMENTED SOULS 1 la verdad hicieron un hueco mas en mi corazon y mente, ahi donde pertenece los Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Fatal Frame, etc. Pues aunque sigue la formula, tiene su propia identidad ❤. Pusieron la vara muy alta con su primera entrega, la verdad me encanto todo. Enhorabuena por su creación, espero tengan exito en su secuela, la estare esperando con ansias 😊 muchas gracias❤.

Very interested to see how the sequel plays out, wasn't expecting an announcement so soon. Wonder which ending was canonical in the end as it says "rescue your cursed sister" Hopefully they'll add more silent hill variations to the final boss like they did so your decisions change the end boss. Enjoyed the first one it was well done and the puzzles were cleverly done for certain. Hopefully the devs enjoyed my playthrough

Oh my god can't wait.i just finished the first.you guys made a masterpiece i was hooked .please maintain running on low end pcs .we cant all afford high end pcs .The first ran like a dream.I can't wait to tackle all puzzles again. 😊

Just started playing the first one today and was really impressed, while a little rough around the edges, it's a really solid entry. I missed this genre so much and I don't get why it has been abandonned it's still a very cool type of game, so when I learned about Tormented Souls I tried it and it totally scratched the itch ! By curiosity I googled the name expecting not much recognition and instead saw very good critics and that a sequel was just announced it made my day !! Really glad to see some love for the game and props to the dev for making the heart of the old school horror beat again. 😄 Cheers and hoping for another success

The first game for me is an instant classic, you perfectly captured the gener while also making it your own. The balance of the puzzles to exploration and combat were jusy right, and it had a fair few tricky puzzles but i didnt mind them. The enemy design while limited was still creepy and engaging, loved the designs just wish there was more of them. The story was interesting and i feel like information was given to the player enough to understand it all. The graphics are beautiful and remind me of what a modern fixed camera re could be like, but you seem to have your own distinctive look and i freaking love it. Cant to play the sequal the first was a solid 8.9/10 for me and imo most horror games these days hardly does what tormented souls did and revives a more og survival horror.

first game was a great "throwback" to classic PS2 era Survival Horror.
hopefully, that stays the case.
just... maybe have puzzles be slightly more intuitive? not hand holding, hell, most of them were completely intuitive for me at least, it's just... some of them were not the sort of thing I'd figure out.
like the "walk in circles around the gurney" puzzle, because I didn't see the guy we could see doing that via the 1-way mirror as a clue, but rather a warning for when we got into The mirror/Otherworld or whatever it was that was going on...
and that statue that opened a path into the sewers, I spent hours combing over the mansion/hospital looking for a golden ring to put on its figure because the poem said it had a gold ring... but the answer was just to click on the ring finger...
I am willing to forgive the floppy disk rewrite tab thing though, since that's a real thing for floppy disks... it's just... maybe there should have been a hint about that for us youngsters who wouldn't know that?

Holy shit ,,,,,, 😳😳😳😳😳😳 , Wtf !!?? , I did not expect a sequel to one of the best classic survival horror games , I’m so happy right now , Never felt so hype about a survival horror game in Ages , Not Since the original RE2 , This one is a day one for me , I’ll buy 3 copies , Tormented Souls 1 is truly a glorious return to the classic survival horror formula that I grew up with in the 90’s aka Resident Evil And a Silent Hill , Alongside SIGNALIS and Alisa Awakening , This game and it’s sequel took a huge dump on Konami and Crapcom , Finally a sequel to one of my most beloved survival horror games , Take my money

Controls are pretty clunky too. I just hope they improve on everything in this sequel.... Bc the original isn't bad at all. Just..... Rough.
