+Laney Amplification Thanks! That's really good news! I heard you are releasing a reissue of the Supergroup soon. It's certainly one of the all time classics. Will it be a limited edition or a standard model? Cheers Johan
Brilliant as usual! You have, by far, my favorite content on youtube, and your playing showcases all this stuff perfectly! Thankyou so much for all the work you put into this.
Great demo of this hidden gem! I just recently purchased the Laney LA100BL, LA412 reissues, and the TI Boost pedal and the tone is very much the same as heard in this video, very full sounding amp!
have been following this channel for a while. basically every demo sounds amazing ... i guess the trick is to go through a 4*12 and crank it to the max 😂 they all sound subtlety different but all sound great 👍
True story cut short! Singer in my last band brought one to our gig. It had been under his customers floor for 25 years! This was in 1997. I plugged it in and it sounded great for 30 mins and it popped. Back then I was in to master vol amps for overdrive so I put it in my loft. 14 years later I took it out and sent it for repair this week. Can't wait to get it back. I didn't know what I had all this time!! Great video as always John.
Another great demo. I really like the sound of this with the Les Paul. They are so complimentary. Very articulate and clear tops. Strat is very glassy and bright. Both sound fantastic.
Actually it's a shame everyone just links this amp to Black Sabbath cause Iommi played one back then... as a pround supergroup 60 player (1969) I can tell this amp can do so much more... it has superb cleans, can be very bluesy and can nail many other kinds of classic rock sounds!
check out Tony Reed of Mos generator and Stone Axe... He plays a variety of amps, but he is seen playing these and the Klipps the majority of the time. Reed has great tone!
Love Laney amps .All you see is Fender and Marshall ( for good reason though) but Laney always have been a Dark Horse. Definitely deserves more attention
I can hear Tony Iommi's signature sound all over that. It's so easy to see how he got his sound, especially after slamming the front end with a treble booster and picking like hell. Sick
A pal of mine has a 50watt version. Unreal. The trapeze amp. The voltage on the rails of these is ridiculous. Really makes those electrons jump out of the cathodes. Great demo as always. Loved the way this amp brought out the detail in your playing Johan. Have a great weekend mate
Jeff Loucks yep my mates it's something similar. Can't remember what we put in in the end. He originally wanted the zener in the centre tap trick but I talked him into putting decent glass in instead in order to preserve the amps signature dynamics.
Can't concentrate on the amp, because I always end up daydreaming to your riffs and playing! :D Honestly, I enjoyed hearing another interesting gear played in your awesome way - Thank you for that \m/ ~ Michael
That’s probably my favorite amp of all time, how would compare to a plexi, from what I know the only difference is the Partridge transformers and that it’s bassier, thanks
Would be fun to hear the Supergroup MKI head and HIWATT 4x12 cabinet with a Rangemaster Treble Booster going into the high bass input. Basically the setup for Black Sabbath's Paranoid recording sessions and hear how close the Fanes are. Love my Laney Supergroups!
The best info I can find is that they came with either Goodmans, Fane or Celestion speakers. When I asked one time, Tony thought they were Celestion speakers. He uses G12H30 (75Hz) 15 ohm Heritage now in the Laney TI412 cabinets. From your demo's, the '70s Celestion G12H30 (75Hz) sound the closest to me. The new Laney LA412 reissue slant cabinet has the G12H30 (75Hz) 15ohm Heritage speakers.
From the pictures it was a Laney Supergroup MKI 100 watt head and Laney 4x12 from the band tour. All the info I can find. No description of the internal speakers.
Johan another great video that showcases an amp that doesn't get the spotlight all the time .I just purchased a Kustom head the big one c595( it doesn' t have any writing on it besides the Kustom name.) And two Kustom columns( 4x10.)it sounds amazing. If you have the notion it would be a kick ass demo.( the upholstered models). Its like John Fogarty walked in.😄
these be daaark amps- i have the new LA30BL- it is by far the darkest amp i have ever played and is a nice "something different" amongst my chimey fenders.
"So...Lets Go" !!! Should be the name of your next album. Serious. Your vids are hands the down the best tones and how to record those tones and sounds in all of youtube. Yes...the vids sound that good my homie.
Hi Johan, your channel is great. I had actually been wondering when you would get hold of a supergroup, and you finally did. I just got done building a clone of this amp a few months back and love it! Keep up the good work!
Laney as a brand is the great hidden treasure. They have made so many great amps over the years, most of which can be had a fraction of the cost of the Marshall equivalent.
What an amp!!! Johan (and Simon) you rule... Would be great to see you demo a Laney Klipp and then compare the two. Probably hard to find! Great job again!!!
sounds killer. call me crazy, but it has a particular character to the attack and a "chime" to the tone that remind me of things i love about a good AC30.
a great half stack and a les paul "at volume "(loud enough to feel the chords your playing) is something every guitar player should experience!!( with proper hearing protection of course) cause I don't know anybody from the seventies that used to use hearing protection
I'm sure you can make everything sound awesome... But i like this one.. Looking forward to the recently announced Laney LA30BL.. Maybe you make a demo :-)
yes that would be way cool! I'm really looking forward to hearing that amp because it seems to be as vintage as you can get without going for the original one. Plus 30 watts is actually more manageable and the price seems good. I really hope Laney is not going to raise the prices or do stupid things like producing it in china.
+Are you 'avin a laugh? Is he 'avin a laugh? Glad you like the riffs, I have a couple of these videos, check these out: ruclips.net/video/h-ew0RN45J8/видео.html ruclips.net/video/vVW3_5wy2Mc/видео.html ruclips.net/video/MV4H_Pqa5uQ/видео.html
During the '70-'80s every cultural/youth center has Laney Supergroup/Klipp head and cabs as a backline in Hungary. Now most of them have burnt transformers or modded to hell by radio or tv repairmen. Sadly.
I'm not talking about communism. Social-democracy is evidently one of the most successful ways of running a country. I would also trade classic rock and all that stuff if i had to choose between that, health care, schools and better rights for workers!
You must be rich to own so much equipment, lots of money to have all those amps and guitars. You must have so so much money, wow, you can get get what ever you want!
Hey Johan, love those Sounds, glassy but still raunchy thick. I would love to see you check out the 5w or 20w Lionheart Combo with the 55Hz Celestion Heritage G12H Speaker! Cheers, Jan
Got 1 of the Lionheart 5w studio myself Jan, they're the best of the bunch in the low wattage valve amps in my opinion. Clean channel sounds Vox'y and drive channel sounds like very early Marshalls, it's like having 2 amps in 1. Got the 1x12 Lionheart cab with celestion G12H30 70th anniversary and the sound is the dogs bollocks mate.
Jammy Git I just bought the same amp! Glad to hear you like yours. I'll be using mine as a bedroom/practice amp. Hopefully I'll have enough clean headroom. Can't believe a 5W amp weighs around 40 pounds, haha. Cheers
+Jbgoth - It's a great amp isn't it Jb? I only use mine at home, mainly on the 0.5 watt setting, (it's still very loud) and playing alone with a looper pedal and for home recording. It sounded great when I first had it but I managed to buy some NOS EL84's from the 1980s and they have improved the tone incredibly. Mine now has a nice spanky chime and even better definition to the notes. I was that impressed I bought loads of them, so if you're looking for a new EL84 output valve just let me know 🙂 You're right about the weight of it, It's pretty big too for a 5 watt. Did you buy the L5 Studio & the 1x12 cab or the combo? I think it looks nice & classy too, a bit more pleasing on the eye than a plain old black tolex amp. In fact mine is also used as a piece of furniture when I'm not using it ! I hope you like yours, i know I'm impressed with mine, i had to wait over a year to afford mine cos 1 of my pets needed an expensive operation every month or else she would've died otherwise, so that was draining my my monthly income but I finally managed to get it about 3 months ago in November.
Jammy Git I bought the combo. I bought a few different brands of low gain preamp tubes, to try and give myself a little bit of extra clean headroom. This is my first tube amp, so I'm a bit overwhelmed. I was torn between the Lionheart, the Supro Dual Tone & Princeton Reverb. I'll have to check out the NOS EL84. Thanks for the tip!
Also as far as I know, Tony Iommi left Laney Supergroup behind because of reliability questions. I don't remember if it was a transformer issue or something else. I can only imagine how upset he was, because this amp sounds absolutely dope. And with a Hiwatt cab the amp seems to love humbuckers. I would like to play through Laney Supergroup into Hiwatt 4x12 with my Reverend with P-90s and my Les Paul with Burstbuckers Pro!
That sounds great , especially the strat sounds unbelievable!!! What kind of strat is this? Can you give me the specifics and also a red one with a matching headstock that was used in previous videos was great too! Can you tell me about them, woods ,pickups ,weight, year? There is an amp like this for sale nearby , should i go for it? Is it usable at this day and age?
+G ts Thanks, the Strat Simon uses in this clip is an original 1963 Strat. The Strat Ragnar used in a previous clip was a 1960 Custom shop relic. If the price is ok, you should definitely get that amp.
catalinbread sabbra cadabra + this amp + SG Toni Iommi sig = Black Sabbath first three albums. I have a '69 Supergroup with matching cab :) Great job as always
X Crow his original treble booster was a Dallas Arbiter Rangemaster which was later modded, eventually lost, and replaced with an Analogman Beano Boost, cheers :)
The head is Rod Argent's old one! Very cool find, sounds killer still too!
+Laney Amplification Thanks! That's really good news! I heard you are releasing a reissue of the Supergroup soon. It's certainly one of the all time classics. Will it be a limited edition or a standard model?
Cheers Johan
It's already been released!
Check it out...
www.blackcountrycustoms.co.uk
Cool! I will!
Wow! Love The Zombies, love Argent (the band). Rod is a genius.
...Where you guys get all those amps from???!
I also got an original ARGENT 100 watt Supergroup, the name was stenciled on top, not on the back panel.
LOUD AMP!
Wow! Sounds super with both guitars!! Very smooth distortion and not as earpiercing as many Marshalls. Great playing as always!
+Bosse Ignell Thanks Bosse! Have a great weekend!
From one Supergroup lover to another: many thanks! You did a great job!
TheSterlingSound hey I love your black sabbath covers an tone !!! one of the best on youtube ....Cheers mate!!!
+TheSterlingSound Thanks :-)
Excellent sounding tone amp. Laney's are the only amps I ever played that i liked 95% as much as old tube Marshalls.
Johan, drop an album already! :) Because you have a bunch of tasty licks that would glorify any song. That small feedback around 1:24 is priceless!
+Peter Osipov Thanks Peter, I'm so glad to hear that!
1:24 yeah that was kinda cool the way it just emerged from the aether like a ghost then gave a wail before fading out of sync with this world.
Peter Osipov I agree I want an album!
If he needs vocals then give me a call. I also live in göteborg and ❤️ what I hear
Brilliant as usual! You have, by far, my favorite content on youtube, and your playing showcases all this stuff perfectly! Thankyou so much for all the work you put into this.
+Garrett Davis Thanks Garrett, that's so good to hear. Cheers Johan
This sounds absolutely breathtaking with the Les Paul. Wonderful!
+Stu Cee Thanks Stu!
Great demo of this hidden gem! I just recently purchased the Laney LA100BL, LA412 reissues, and the TI Boost pedal and the tone is very much the same as heard in this video, very full sounding amp!
Lucky man
have been following this channel for a while. basically every demo sounds amazing ... i guess the trick is to go through a 4*12 and crank it to the max 😂 they all sound subtlety different but all sound great 👍
+Stevan Lepojevic Thanks Stevan! Yeah it helps to play them loud :-)
Johan Segeborn Yes, the ear defenders are a bit of a clue 🤣
+Stevan Lepojevic yeah it's those or deafness ;-)
True story cut short! Singer in my last band brought one to our gig. It had been under his customers floor for 25 years! This was in 1997. I didn't know what I had all this time!! Great video as always John.
Johan: rock N roll ain't noise pollution
keep doing what u do best ! it never gets old ... 🤘🏽
+AC/DC.4.LIFE ! ThanksThanks :-) One of the best albums ever! :-)
Another british gem. I love them all Marshall, Hiwatt, Laney, Carlsbro, Selmer, Vox etc. Congratulations Johan.
+PureToneAmps Thanks! Glad to hear it!
Another great demo. I really like the sound of this with the Les Paul. They are so complimentary. Very articulate and clear tops. Strat is very glassy and bright. Both sound fantastic.
+hachewie Thanks, great to hear that!
This amp is a treasure! Love the sound of it. Has a nice brightness to it. Great video!
+Remie Stronks Thanks :-)
Actually it's a shame everyone just links this amp to Black Sabbath cause Iommi played one back then... as a pround supergroup 60 player (1969) I can tell this amp can do so much more... it has superb cleans, can be very bluesy and can nail many other kinds of classic rock sounds!
+Chris Danner We really liked it too
check out Tony Reed of Mos generator and Stone Axe... He plays a variety of amps, but he is seen playing these and the Klipps the majority of the time. Reed has great tone!
How is it a "shame"? Iommi had some of the most classic tones of all time!
Love Laney amps .All you see is Fender and Marshall ( for good reason though) but Laney always have been a Dark Horse. Definitely deserves more attention
I would love to own one of these old beasts. Such a great old amp. Great playing as usual too.
+Crimson Ghost Thanks!
I can hear Tony Iommi's signature sound all over that. It's so easy to see how he got his sound, especially after slamming the front end with a treble booster and picking like hell. Sick

+PoJoWo You have a great weekend too my friend!
PoJoWo Mines over 600 volts. Gotta have some decent tubes in that power section. :)
Jeff Loucks yep my mates it's something similar. Can't remember what we put in in the end. He originally wanted the zener in the centre tap trick but I talked him into putting decent glass in instead in order to preserve the amps signature dynamics.
What a find! The sound of the early Black Sabbath albums. Tony Iommi, and by extension this amp, is a big reason I play guitar today.
+Ben Randolph Thanks, I'm a huge Tony Iommi fan too! Cheers
Thank you.....finally, Johan!!!! I've asked a few times in the past to do this one
+Evoken13 Thanks, glad to hear it!
Awesome!Rich harmonics and a bit nice compression.. Holy Grail!
+Midnight Sun Thanks, Holy grail indeed!
God, that strat tone is delicous....
Sick Tones Johan!!! One of my most Fav YT channels!!! Rock on'!!!
Can't concentrate on the amp, because I always end up daydreaming to your riffs and playing! :D
Honestly, I enjoyed hearing another interesting gear played in your awesome way - Thank you for that \m/
~ Michael
+Frau Kapitaen Thanks Michael, that makes me glad! Cheers!
Oh how I love the Supergroup!
That’s probably my favorite amp of all time, how would compare to a plexi, from what I know the only difference is the Partridge transformers and that it’s bassier, thanks
I appreciate all of your demos.
This is the first time I've heard one of these beauty's. WOW I'm blown away. An amazing amp. Big smiley face indeed. 8>)))))).
Thanks. :-)
is it the same type as first Black Sabbath's guitarist amp?
+rangga aditya Yeah this is the one!
although based on the tone, the head version was used as they are much crunchier and don't have as much fuzz as these, but yep, the amp
@bob joe theyc ranked them with a fuzz and a rangemaster terble booster in front of it.
+Richard Hollis Do you know which speakers he had for Paranoid?

Holy shit man, almost shit my pants when I saw you had one of these
+Raymon Rodriguez hahaha, sorry about that ;-)
Simon is the "Johan Segeborn of the Strat"
Very well-done gentlemen!
that strat is pure joy with that amp......great demo......thank you!
+rcolang1 Thanks! :-)
Love that Plexiglas jangle ! While clean it nice..... However, the amp has a dark side of Doom when pushed.
Delightful tones and the two guitars really bring out the versitality...
+Alistair Kinnear Thanks! :-)
"Let's Go!" T shirts
that amp sounds just right!
+Nicholas Dentato Thanks Nicholas!
If you put up "Let's GO!" T-shirts on, say Speadshirt or similar, I pledge to get one!
Wow! What a cool sound!!! What a surprise! I've never heard about them!
Its like John Fogarty walked in.😄
I got one myself since three years coupled with an Orange Rockerverb, surely can't dream about a better sound
These heads are just dead sexy!!! Laney just issued a LA30BL.30 watt "plexi input" style. Can't wait to hear it!
Nice demo. Saw Sabbath using these at the spectrum in Philly back in the early 70's. Great amps.
+soldanovht noneofya Thanks!
Awesome! Greetings from Brazil!
+Rafael Arthur Soares Thanks Rafael, Greetings from Sweden!
these be daaark amps- i have the new LA30BL- it is by far the darkest amp i have ever played and is a nice "something different" amongst my chimey fenders.

+Colin L Thanks Colin, if you have posted any clips of the clone, give us a link to it here. Cheers
Not yet, but If I ever do I certainly will. A treble boost or overdrive in front really takes it to the next level!
sounds great
+Nico Bellisario Thanks Nico
Fantastic sound! The bottom end is truly endless.
+Lovzi Thanks :-)
magical....may I visit, have a beer and drool
+Sam Fosdick Hahaha! If you're ever in Sweden, let's down a few cold ones ;-)
Laney as a brand is the great hidden treasure. They have made so many great amps over the years, most of which can be had a fraction of the cost of the Marshall equivalent.
I agree! Highly recommendable! Cheers
Sounds like some kind of magical middle ground between older Marshall and Fender amps.
+offinthepines That's a good characterization
Been trying to get a friend in Sweden to being Johan his Traynor. Its the canadian Plexi. Has a great Fender tone with singles though.
Wow. That sounds insanely good.
+MrWilly2204 Thanks!
It's Hendrix all over with that Strat.
Laney awesome with Strat...sweeeet !!!
Fantastic. Great demo again Johan
+Scott Stewart Thanks Scott!
Sounds alittle like "oh my " by UFO around 2:00
What an amp!!! Johan (and Simon) you rule... Would be great to see you demo a Laney Klipp and then compare the two. Probably hard to find! Great job again!!!
Fane speakers really make any amp shine, great video as always
Great tone, especially with the Les Paul, very clear and defined, but at the same time crunchy and punchy!
Nice demo as always:) I have one same era but logo is different (plexi logo) and a laney 4x12 Goodmans
Keep rocking:))
+Edmund Camilleri Thanks! That must sound great. Some real mid 70s Black Sabbath tones. Cheers
if youre ever thinking of selling that setup hit me up!
I’ve never heard a Marshall sound good in a bedroom type environment. Laney just seems different league to me!
Sounds very Tweedy Fendery with nice bottom end going through that 4x12
+buffdoc46 Thanks, it does indeed, surprisingly enough
Man!!!! That Amps got sweet mojo going on.
+Shawn Taylor Thanks Shawn!
Pretty good sounding!
+Bricklinsv1970 Thanks!
I just noticed the "Argent" stencil on the back of this amp. That's kinda cool...great band! The song Green Eyed Lady is awesome! 👍
Amp sounds nice! 😊
+Flametopology Thanks, but isn't that Sugarloaf?
Johan Segeborn Oh shit that's right! I guess I meant the song "Hold Your Head Up". At least I think that's it.
Good call Johan! 👍😊
🎶 God gave Rock and Roll to You 🎶
Killer tone.
yahoo! finally! I have been waiting this for a while 😀
+Revelry 1969 Thanks :-)
fantastic tones. seems a little more transparent than the Marshall. sounds fantastic. can you try it with your Marshall cabs?
+Revelry 1969 We'll keep it in mind. Cheers
sounds killer. call me crazy, but it has a particular character to the attack and a "chime" to the tone that remind me of things i love about a good AC30.
+Joshua Codispoti Thanks, it sounded like that at times indeed
very sweet and mild sounding! amazing
+fleaguitar89 Thanks, yeah it's got a balanced and pleasant sound, yet still aggressive. Cheers
it sure has some cool knobs :P
+JoeyRockerTV :-) Beautiful amp indeed!
Hi Johan! At léast Laney!im a big fan Iommi's sound! So finally! Cheers Jorge
+harleybrujo Thanks Bro, I'm a huge fan of Iommi as well!
Johan - how much is the sound flavored by the 4X12 Hiwatt Cab with Fane's? A LOT, I would imagine. Have you run this one through other cabs? Thanks!
What a gorgeous sound!
+KaisDragonBlade Thanks :-)
I just noticed that the amps got Argent stenciled on the back for the first time today. WOW!
Would be great do also a comparisson between the other laney models such as the vc50, tt100, gh100r....
Låter fantastiskt!
+farbrorpuh Tackar! :-)
a great half stack and a les paul "at volume "(loud enough to feel the chords your playing) is something every guitar player should experience!!( with proper hearing protection of course) cause I don't know anybody from the seventies that used to use hearing protection
+dan peabody Hahaha, well there was a price to pay unfortunately
I'm sure you can make everything sound awesome... But i like this one.. Looking forward to the recently announced Laney LA30BL.. Maybe you make a demo :-)
yes that would be way cool! I'm really looking forward to hearing that amp because it seems to be as vintage as you can get without going for the original one. Plus 30 watts is actually more manageable and the price seems good. I really hope Laney is not going to raise the prices or do stupid things like producing it in china.
Works very nice with the Les Paul! Mild verge of feed back and nice attack with the pick. I hear Billy Gibbons more than Tony Iommi......very nice
+John Miller Thanks John :-)
a 5 to 10 minute video of you teaching some of your playing techniques would be a great watch and I'd love to learn something too.
+Are you 'avin a laugh? Is he 'avin a laugh? Glad you like the riffs, I have a couple of these videos, check these out:

fantastic. how did I not see them? thanks for taking time to link.
beautiful!
More vintage Hiwatt! :)
+Jesse Delaney Cheers
I have the 30W reissue and it has the same top end sparkle, same deep low end, sounds pretty much like a Fender Bassman...
During the '70-'80s every cultural/youth center has Laney Supergroup/Klipp head and cabs as a backline in Hungary. Now most of them have burnt transformers or modded to hell by radio or tv repairmen. Sadly.
+andrás schóber Cool, we had a lot of Marshalls in our community centers here in Sweden. Socialism does indeed have a few aces up its sleeve ;-)
andrás schóber i love Laney Amps!,,Cheers Jorge
Johan Segeborn this is what they don't understand in the states ;)
Lars Sig, there would be no classic rock or innovative quality equipment without capitalism. Enjoy your slavery.
I'm not talking about communism. Social-democracy is evidently one of the most successful ways of running a country. I would also trade classic rock and all that stuff if i had to choose between that, health care, schools and better rights for workers!
Sounds very Hendrix. Sounds better than those Marshall's that you have tested. :)
+Rämpyttäjä Thanks!
damn that sounds awesome !!! is it also possible the connect the trable and bass channel with a patchcable like on a plexi ?
+Lecker Pfannkuchen Thanks, haven't tried that but I'm pretty sure you can.
You must be rich to own so much equipment, lots of money to have all those amps and guitars. You must have so so much money, wow, you can get get what ever you want!
You lack fundamental class.
Nice combination 👍
Are those the purple back speaker's?
Hey Johan, love those Sounds, glassy but still raunchy thick. I would love to see you check out the 5w or 20w Lionheart Combo with the 55Hz Celestion Heritage G12H Speaker! Cheers, Jan
+Jan F Hi Jan, I really liked the Lionheart when I played it. Hopefully we can have it here on the channel soon. Cheers

You're right about the weight of it, It's pretty big too for a 5 watt.
Did you buy the L5 Studio & the 1x12 cab or the combo?
I think it looks nice & classy too, a bit more pleasing on the eye than a plain old black tolex amp. In fact mine is also used as a piece of furniture when I'm not using it !

Awesome
+frederic Pinsonnault Thanks Frederic
Great sounding amp, they don't make them like that anymore. Did you use any pedals? Thanks
I think Jimmy Hendrix has missed something! Those alnico speakers sound fantastic.
+Peter Osipov I've heard he used Supergroup on all 1970s albums but one
"...I don't remember if it was a transformer issue..." Don´t they have Partridges inside?
trapiak probably. I'll try to find that article.
I was gonna say the big dog was getting shown up by Simon a bit with this amp. That was until 3:33 !!!
Big Dog !!!
i'm a Tony Iommi fanatic! !!!!!!!!!
+rayvandragon I am too! :-) Cheers!!
If the price is ok, you should definitely get that amp.
please do a Supergroup vs 1987x video!
A goodlooking amp, and the sound is not så bad too.
great sounding amp man...donno why they are not making them like that anymore?
+steeve thomas Thanks, I think they have reissued it lately
Both guitars sound great! I wish I could make a Strat sound like that! I guess I just don't have Strat hands.
+BB2009LZ Cheers! :-)
Sweet 👍
+Leif Ångqvist Thanks Leif
Hit that thing with a treble booster (klon type thingy) and it's Black Sabbath all day long!
+X Crow Cheers :-)
catalinbread sabbra cadabra + this amp + SG Toni Iommi sig = Black Sabbath first three albums. I have a '69 Supergroup with matching cab :) Great job as always
X Crow his original treble booster was a Dallas Arbiter Rangemaster which was later modded, eventually lost, and replaced with an Analogman Beano Boost, cheers :)
