That's how I cut 45 Colt to 45 S&W (Schofield) length. You can use 44 Special data if your bullet weight and psi limits are the same. Save your brass filings to add to the casting pot for tough bullets.. If you do it correctly. Thanks for the video...

I use the same saw, and I made my own jig for the saw to cut down 38 special to 38 super length. When I used to compete for that extra edge 😆

Several companies offer cast bullets for a reasonable price.

The jig is from eBay. The saw came with the clamp that holds the jig.
Can the 44 magnum Magnum Research bfr handle the 340 grain +p+ ruger only loads?
I would think it would, but I haven't researched that. I'd wager the frame and cylinder are strong enough...don't know about cylinder length
