In this video, Cesar from Phenix rods teaches us how to tie up assist hooks with a vise for slow pitch jigs. This time, we used 155lb PE line with a mono core and attached to a solid ring and a swivel.
Also talks about the benefits to using a swivel!
Big thank you to Owner for donating everything we used throughout this series, and for the opportunity to put something like this together!
Also a big thank you to Cesar for taking the time out of his day to teach us step by step how to tie all the assist hooks in this series!
Thank you all for watching, I hope you enjoyed this video!

What I've learned over time... You gotta stick with things. It takes time to master anything, stay patient, stay humble, keep learning.

What I’ve learned from these videos is that that it is way more complex than it thought, like the tackle needed for different types of jigs.

I've learned so much, but the one video that really stands out is the flyline fishing video you did with Ceasar. I've watched it 3 times and have changed my whole approach based on that.

1 of many things I've learned watching your videos. Is you don't need the best or everything. Just to get out a fish.

Something I've learned from watching Dirty Hookers: probably should have gone with the Tranx over my Komodo for throwing jigs with the 9' rod 😂
But that's fine! Asked you awhile back about the differences between these two baitcasters because you've used both in the past. I'm an Okuma guy so went with the Komodo instead. No ragrets!

I've learned that jigging is way more complex than I ever thought it was. Hooks, and shape and terminal tackle matters more than weight to determine how to effectively catch. Also At what size fish would you stop trusting this type of tie up?
