- The city has publicly released body camera footage showing an officer shooting and wounding an Oakland man who authorities say pointed a loaded handgun at the policeman.
Kerdell Lillard, 32, survived being shot in the arm by Pittsburg police Ofc. Richard Beltram, who is in his second year as a policeman. Lillard has been charged with assault and gun possession, both felonies, authorities said.

I'm not convinced this guy is actually a criminal. Just based on speech pattern, the actions that led up to the police encounter, and his ability to process commands, I'm going to assume he has a mental health condition, possibly schizophrenia. What that means for me is that while the officers did everything correctly, without medical assessment and a trial, calling this man a criminal is inaccurate.

The officer that initially shows up has such a commanding presence and tone, I found myself following his directions and ended up face down in my living room.
I felt that too I was almost taking directions I put my gun down. 😎

All they care about is how they hear about how a cop shoots an "unarmed minority" 5 to 6 times a year (99% of which are justified), and by default (because they easily believe what they hear in the media), think that cops literally get up each day with the intent of "shooting an unarmed minority". They are too stupid to think rationally and logically. If they (those who easily without question simply believe what they are being told in the MSM) had any brains, they would realize that annually, police officers have hundreds of thousands (if not more) of citizen interactions each year throughout the US, either from 911 calls, traffic issues, investigation issues, etc... Given the vast amount of citizen interactions annually, there would be almost daily shootings of unarmed minorities if what the dumbasses believe were true. People are so stupid, that they forgot or cant think rationally for themselves.

I'm from Co Co County. Lived in the P for a while. My interactions with the cops there have minimal. In my personal experiences, most of them were professional and polite when dealing with me. Only of couple of the police total dicks for no reason. This has been in recent times (within the last 10 years or so). When did u live there? Just curious and wanna compare police interactions. @@diitrii it was more so that the guy had cover with the truck meanwhile the cop had zero cover standing in the street, u can see the cop shoot and move towards the right so he would be out of sight from the criminal, pretty much no cop in this situation would shoot once and continue following and shooting around the corner when the thug falls completely behind cover of the truck, if it was the other way around where the cop is behind the truck and the thug in the middle of the street then likely there would've been more shots from the cop

I felt them all come up to me and the gun was instantly punched into my forehead. He asked me to give him one reason to let me live. I told him that I have a cash advance on my credit card and he could take all of the money out of it he wanted. I was then beaten for what seemed like ages. When I woke us In the hospital I has 3 fractured ribs a skull fracture 2 broken fingers on my left hand and 2 broken on my other hand. Was also a really nice shot. From the cam it looked like the guy was moving pretty quick, and partially covered. Everyone was lucky no one died, and even after a shot, that the situation got de-escalated. The officers here could've shot a lot more: but they communicated well and risked their lives hoping that the gunman would do the right thing. These cops showed good judgment and were fast, decisive, and efficient.
