Nope. It's a white boy AND the shoot was totally justified .

At the very least there will be riots. Because he was a great guy that didn't deserve this, he would never hurt nobody, was getting his life together, just minding his own business, about to cure cancer, blah blah blah.
my gun being out of battery actually saved me once. Kept me from self-ending myself in a fit of severe depression and gave me enough mental clarity to call the police on myself and get transported to the VA hospital for the mental health help I needed.
Thankfully I'm much better now
One hell of a way to have interference. I don't know you, but I can still be happy that you are breathing the same air with me. I hope for your continued recovery and experiencing life.
Fare well wherever you fare.
Well, I'd say that was fortunate...glad you made the call and got some help that helped!
Some days are teeth and toenails to hang onto, others are easier. Hang in there and keep the light bright!
There was some other power going on there that saved you. I have no idea what.
Glad you're still here, brother
I hope u immediately gave up all the weapons u had and got help
A friend of mine who retired from a police department after 30 years told me that domestic violence are among the craziest and can be the most dangerous that an officer can roll up on.
That’s factual brother
A Cop in my town just got shot and killed a few weeks ago on a domestic call . Really sucks .
domestic abusers are fucking disgusting people. My mum was in such a relationship, she managed to get away but he was always a stalker after that up until he died of cancer. Good riddance.
Yeah, the instructor in my ex's academy was talking about some of the DDs he rolled on. Those are scary. He also set up an "activity" day. He had a bunch of off duty officers playing the bad guys and all the trainees had to use squirt guns (there was a couple of guys in that class that shouldn't ever be given a gun...) The class had traffic stops where the officer perp was screwing with the cop (put your arm out--so he put it out and in, does push ups on the ground...). The DD episode was scary. They had a vacant house at the old base they used for this whole thing and they had a male and female cop doing the yelling. One of the trainees got clocked in the face with a chair because they took their eyes off the female while trying to deal with the male who ducked as the girl swung it. Another guy got hosed with a gun from the male because he was turned arguing with the female. It was a hard thing, they were playing it like they happen. A few got him down, one took the female in. The pat downs got criticized, two of the guys were undercovers, looked like big bikers with huge beards and hair. At the end, Lee had them pull out all the weapons on them and they had crap everywhere, a switchblade in their hair (no kidding), a hacksaw blade woven in a ponytail. Everyone was amazed at the amount, including the cops and instructor.
Donut days this on almost every video lol, we know..
I like seeing that a bystander was offering his assistance. That’s good stuff.
It is, and not enough people are commenting about it
The fact that theres some people out there, who aren't dumb dumb poopoo anti cop heads, is quite refreshing.
There was a deputy in my county who was demonstrating this "out of battery" situation in the squad room one night, pressing the gun into the palm of his hand and pulling the trigger. Problem being, the gun was loaded and he shot himself through the palm of his hand. Years later, he likes to joke he was shot on-duty and he also shot the guy who shot him.
That’s hilarious
Lemme guess...he also taught gun safety too, right? LOL
What a super cop! He got shot in the hand and shot the guy who shot him? On duty??? Woah
That's just stupid 😂

With regards to the holding the slide forward to prevent the slide being out of battery, when done properly it is safe but when not taught correctly it will shatter your thumb. That exact thing is what ended my mom's 22 year career with the tucson police force.
Thank you for showing this properly because I know it will save lives and careers both in the field and on the range.
yea you have to over brace and overcome the slide. I have a friend use my 9mm we were out plinking i show him form he goes im older than you i know how to gun and he got the worst slide bite i have ever seen. I did stitches on site since i bring my ems kit everywhere.
Did she shatter her thumb or…? Genuinely asking cuz a shattered thumb generally isn’t career ending in pretty much any line of work.
There is a lot of things I like about your videos. The humour and relatability are huge and I have actually learned a lot from watching you. (I live in Canada so it’s a little bit different here). But I have to say that one of my favourite things is how involved you are with your son. It really warms my heart ❤

Hey Donut! I’m late to this party but an open forum shooting breakdown was a great idea. You answered questions I personally had and I really enjoyed watching this one :)
My academy actually taught us this. I don't know if any of us have ever had to use it, but they told us about it and made us practice it during range days in the academy. Also, kudos to the female officer for taking care of business.

Lessons Learned-
1- Don’t mess around when they resist. Time and time again we’re seeing the perp pulling a weapon once they have the opportunity.
2- don’t press your muzzle against the perp you gun won’t go bang most likely. Make sure you have at least an inch or two between the muzzle and entry point.
3- really consider if being in law enforcement is worth it at this point.

Man, sounds like a lot of cops respond to seemingly regular calls that can easily become very dangerous. Domestic Violence, Hell & Wellness Check, even looking for missing child could get hairy. Ya never know what’s gonna happen next out there nor when your last day will be.

@@orange_cat there’s a serious issue with lack of respect in this world. Many women are encouraged to disrespect their husbands, and we know that makes for a terrible marriage.
right, if it has to get to the point of fighting after you've already said why youre upset, then she doesnt respect you that way anyway, and is probably doing it out of spite possibly for the world and not yourself, rather than anything valid so your best choice of action is to not interact with that person going forward.
THIS is the kindof female cop that we need. NOT some wannabe Karen who wants to power-trip and ends up putting civilians in danger because she can't handle a fight, let alone a life-or-death struggle. THIS cop is strong, and clear of mind during a crisis. SHE must be a role model.
She and her colleague did drop the ball...
They allowed the screaming bystander hug and molest the corpse.
There could be additional weapon on the corpse.
Also bad to let a bystander molest evidence.
That left arm that he drew his gun and fired with was supposed to have been under her control.
@@aldousorwell3807 Yes! She fucked up, as do male cops. But she remained calm and dealt wirh the situation instead of collapsing under pressure and screaming and begging like we've seen too many others do.
@@J0hnzie I'll agree that it was better to have her there than nobody, and some male officers that I've seen. But it's worth noting that that was her arm to give up in the first place. And also, that her gun wasn't being pressed out of battery for all of those trigger pulls, so it's most likely that she didn't have a round chambered to begin with.
@@aldousorwell3807 Why would she not have a round chambered when it's standard practice for LE to carry with a round ready and the mag topped off?

Immediately tried the out-of-battery thing on my pistol. Amazing piece of information that just might save my life someday. Thanks a million!
In order to minimize the chance of an out of battery malfunction I recommend using a weapon light that goes past the barrel or a muzzle device. Both work well and I’ve actively tried to put my pistols out of battery with them and had little-no luck
@@SaintJerry they make strike plates for the accessory rails
@@AreUmygrandson kind of a waste of space as a weapon light is a necessity anyways

Very late response, but this is one reason why it's good to have a snub as a backup. Contact shots with revolvers are ridiculously devastating, since the force and contents of the entire muzzle blast enter the wound channel immediately following the bullet.
Crazy thing is, the male cop actually disarmed the suspect before the female put rounds on target. Still 100% justified seeing as the female officer didn’t know and both their lives had been out in immediate danger. Good work by both officers 👍🏻
Hopefully it works out like that for her in court. For all she knew the dude still had his gun in his hand pointed at her partner's face. She wasn't exactly in a position to be able to see all that was going on
I believe the guy was still grabbing the gun and fighting with the male officer for it. It's justified, but Portland is a shithole, and she may get jammed up.
It was pretty impressive, he disarmed him before she even drew her weapon actually. They were fighting over it again by the time she opened fire though, so they weren't exactly out of danger.
It looks like the suspect may also have been trying to grab her gun when she fired
They still made mistake letting that screaming fool hug and molest the dead guy looking for his other weapons or otherwise tamper with crime scene.

Hi Donut, missed the stream, but just watched it. Loved it, love your stuff! Just a thing I thought I ought to say about clearing a simi-auto. If the extractor is broken, you can pull the mag, and rack it 10 times, and a round can remain in the pipe. Just kind of an important thing. I have a wonderful nephew that basically blew his leg off with a "properly" cleared gun.
I learned the same thing from an old street vet right after I came on the job. Never needed it, but we practiced the hell out of it.

How do you keep it from tearing your thumb off?
@@airsoftspeedy it doesn’t tear you thumb off lol. It just absorbs the impact of the slide going back. That’s why you have to recock the slide bc the gun will be out of battery after the first shot
Interesting. As a cop in a special unit we routinely trained contact or near-contact engagements. So we were aware of the possibility of Out of Battery Malfunctions. But I had never heard of the technique of manually locking the slide in place to force a contact shot. I'm not sure if I like it or not...but I can visualize a scenario where it might be necessary. Oh is it? never knew that, thx for explaining ( I mean it).
I heard this guy at my work saying that they are trying to get it so cops do not respond to domestic violence calls here anymore. I was thinking that is crazy I think those are some of the most dangerous calls, so good to hear that my thinking is right and if he wants to be one of the "counselors" called to them he is insane.
That’s a pretty cool trick. My academy taught us if you have to press fire like that have a weapon light and put that against the target first.
The lighting in your video is on point right here....
I am glad to see that female cop calm collected serious and saving her partner’s life. We need more of that. I am not against female cops; just, they need to be like her when they are on the beat. I have seen to much miss toughy and then panic. This helps balance my understanding and opinion 😌
Fr, majority are not good at being cops either physically and/or mentally but this one was top notch.
The chick cop had the left arm. The thug's left arm gets free to draw a weapon almost killing the male cop. Just another day at the office when you have a quota-hire partner. Then on top of it, she panics with her gun and ends up shooting the thug the male cop had already disarmed.
it's just that personality shift. you look at the men with the extreme traits needed for policing, you get a small percentage, but the women only get a fraction of that. ie. 5% vs 1%. Just means it's even harder to find women fit for the job, but the ones that are can be bangin good.
I mean, I’ve seen a lot of male police officers who scream like little girls in the face of danger. It’s more so about the person themselves then their gender. But I do believe (as a woman myself) that most women should not be in the police force, merely for safety reasons
She wasn't saving his life, she almost shot him too! He had already disarmed the perp. He was fine. She's the one who lost control of that hand in the first place and nearly got him killed.

For anyone questioning why shooting a Glock with the thumb behind it: The Glock is a locked breach pistol, meaning most of the force of the firing is caught by the locking lugs and trunnion. Only a small force is used to push against the spring and thus open the gun.
So you just need to cancel that small force at the start to prevent the gun from unlocking.
Don't put your thumb behind the gun after it unlocked though, because you lose the mechanical advantage from the locking lugs and can seriously hurt yourself

I remember a video by ASP talking about this - the force is the same as you use when racking your slide. So your thumb can stop the slide. Just a thumb can keep the slide closed. I think the extra hand pushing the thumb is just to make sure the slide is in battery when pressing against someone.
If you have an XD the guide rod actually has a flat piece on the front side that CAN help in the firearm not coming out of battery when pushed into or against the target. Which is a nice feature
Just got back from picking up my dad from the airport and nearly running over a deer and it’s nice to sit down and watch donut talk about a police incident and the deer is worth more than the person who points a gun at police

Lucky you missed that deer bro, obvs depending on the size but it can be fatal and at the least it's a write off on the car, not a good way for your dad to end his holiday or his trip 😂
Hope you have an awesome time on your road trip, I’m really glad you get to spend some quality time with yours. Thanks for everything donut :)
Great trick! Thanks 🍩
DONNNUUUTTTTTT!!!!! youre amazing keep doing what youre doing!!!
Dude I started watching your videos like 2 weeks ago and now your all over my RUclips page. I love your content your the best.
I swear my blood pressure goes off the roof watching these stuff. Brave cops always
Learned something today. Very cool
Damn that was close...
Never like to see someone hurt, but I can feel the instant relief thru the camera when the dude goes 'cooked spaghetti'.
Just missed the stream but love you doughnut and love everything you do
Good on her for keeping cool and protecting her partner
It's the least she could do after the arm she had broken free to draw the weapon in the first place.
@@randychase305 he had it drawn straight away donut even shows it, it wasn’t her fault.
It looks like the male officer has taken the gun from the guy and is holding it in his right hand after the Dbag got a shot off. The Female officer does not know that the male officer has taken the gun away from the Dbag. Dbag says 'please dont shoot me, i dont have it.' Female officer drives her gun into Dbag and tries to shoot him, but her weapon is not charged. Dbag realizes that she is trying to kill him and starts resisting again and screaming "Ahh she is gonna shoot me N***a, please stop, please stop, please stop' female officer shoots him.
@@starptgr if that’s actually what happened then it’s how own panic that got him killed, this is why the media need to held accountable for the mass panic that they can make with constant negative story’s.

Donut you're the best. Luv u homie
Is that a P80? Looks nice Donut!! I forget the guys name but there is a gun tuber who demonstrates that move with just his thumb (doesn’t put his other hand behind the thumb) and it 100% works! Will not break your thumb! You have to realize the recoil springs are so stiff they basically are just barely soft enough to allow the firearm to cycle upon firing. Any extra pressure to the rear of the slide will cause it to fire and not cycle. However, if you’re going to practice this method, commit to it. Or you won’t press hard enough and you will get hurt.
Hey Donut sorry i missed the stream but i have to get up early for work, i’ve watched your videos for several years now and you’ve inspired me and helped me a lot, thank you and please keep up the great work, i hope your trip goes good.
Innocent. Clearly the suspect had no gun and it was a act of police brutality. They were clearly not resisting at all too
It's what the family will say.
Good info for the responders 🤙, they should implement this in the academy
I know this is going to sound weird, but my Beretta px4 storm, when pressed up against something will still fire, even when the slide is pressed back, even to a little over 1/4th inch, just thought that was a piece of cool info, for anyone else who owns one.
I don’t get it. Why do people escalate it to this level? You’re going to try and kill police instead of going to jail for a couple nights?
First of all depending on the state and the charge it aint jail for a night specially not in chicago where i live but alot of ppl in my city are extremly uneducated most people dont make it padt 8 th grade those r the same dude killing eachother its a sad cycle but no matter where u are if u illagaly owning a gun now adays and get caught ur not seeing the light of day for two years atleast
All that does is give the bad guys the advantage more so than they have now
Not even a couple nights... 8-12 hours. That's if they complete the booking
Even when it is just a couple nights, a lot of people are out of their marbles when they start these extreme situations. Sometimes, the attempt suicide by cop. Theyre too scared to do it themselves so the attack a cop and hope they get shot and pass away. Its pretty sad.
It's not something they think through, it's just a lot of emotion at once, then people act irrationally.
Breakdown starts at 5:15
Looking forward to it!
DNN every Monday & Thursday homie. Either way we all appreciate your work big dawg
I hope that you and your son have an absolutely amazing road trip!!!
