It seems I missed it 😭
"Secretly hope your Indian friends will make it for you" I'm way beyond that, I just demand it when I show up, lol.
Uau ... you demand it ... what manners

@@aureliaandris8240 he's prob just exaggerating for the joke. Nothing to really take too seriously.

I felt happy watching this. I smiled all the way. He's got very nice storytelling skills.
…and the ingredients? “Only the best.” 😌
I agree and subscribed
I loved his sense of humour 😊
“for self defense, and for the spices” 😂😂Dying
I tried your recipe this morning for the first time, & if I could, I'd nominate you for the Nobel Peace Prize :D. Super yummy!
The mortar for self defense made me smile :)
I had this tea once in a restaurant. I liked it. But, when I tried this recipe, I just couldn't belief how good I am of making tea.
I just came back from delployment and had this tea with a lot of different village people. I've been desperately looking for a way to replicate this recipe at home to give me something to look back on. This was perfect and I deeply appreciate it.
Thank you so much !! :)
I've been craving good chai like I had in Iraq. Hopefully this will do!!
@@Keepthemguessing same here I loved the tea in Iraq! I've craved it since then.
@@Keepthemguessing I do like the Masada chai from coffee brand coffee. It's been my go to for a few months now.
@@xcyted4now I'll definitely try it. Thanks
This was great! The chef is a very good communicator - slightly mischievous, young, but sliding into Dad jokes already, and always smiling! He was not intimidating at all!
😁 Thank you and I am glad that this video continues to bring joy to people so many years later🙂
True , it's a pleasure to watch his videos.
Young? Looks 35.
This was very helpful! Not only did you go into what ingredients to use, you also went into what they do for the flavor! I really appreciate that, thank you!
You also just have a really pleasant voice and I can tell there's a genuine love for the process, this was just a very enjoyable and informative video so thank you again
This is what I just told my friend: “I just made masala chai from the raw ingredients: the blackest of black teas, raw ginger, four cardemon seeds, a teaspoon of whole black peppercorn and a teaspoon of cloves, a cinnamon stick, a hacked off block of this brown sugar rock thing that I’ve never seen before - all of this coursely ground in a mortar and pestle and reduced for fifteen minutes in a boiling pot of water and milk. This might be the richest and most delicious drink that I have ever tasted. I can taste the distinct character of each ingredient!”
Wonderful instructions and such a beautiful personality. I have been looking for the perfect chai recipe. I like mine to be strong and spicy with more pepper than most people use. Your recipe is exactly what I need.
Watched the video, and made the tea. The slow, aromatic process made me think of my mom (we're Burmese by descent, not Indian). I already know that I'll almost never rush the process. This recipe brought some nostalgia for how things 'should' be done and how they're done in the kitchens that I grew up in. Thank you for taking the time to walk us through such a special process.
Thank you for leaving us such a lovely comment :)
one of the best videos I've ever watched hands down. relaxing, informative. and the subtle humour is fantastic. much love :)
His voice is so calm and soothing, plus he's hilarious. I can't wait to try this
Thank you for such a detailed recipe- I have been searching for a real authentic recipe- I had a dear friend who would make chai for me and I’ve never been able to find a real recipe- thank you again!
It’s nice that you not only teach the recipe, but you also share your wisdom. Thank you.
Wisdom as in, always have a mortar and pestle- to be used as a weapon and to grind spices.
First video I've seen since I typed in how to make authentic Chai. I've seen it and it don't need to search any further. This looks fantastic, but your personality and delivery of the recipe is even better. I liked subscribed, commenting now, after this I'm going to share it. Thanks.
I'm absolutely in love with his accent and his handsome face
5:05 Mortar and Pestle for self defense XD
I watched 7 chai recipe videos before finding yours. Yours is SO much better than the others. Thank you!!
Most authentic chai recipe out on youtube. Thanks 4 sharing.
You're a great, humorous presenter and host, really enjoyed this video!
I work with someone from india and his wife makes the best chai tea, now, every single day, he brings extra chai tea for me😊

This is THE video to understand how to brew a Chai!! Thank youu
How is that one of the funniest videos I watched lately? Thank you for all the tips, I bought a premade mix and I feel I can go deeper in flavors and you just made it less intimidating!
super enjoyable- thanks !
I bought the yogi classic tea , and some organic black tea, opened the bags directly in the pot, added fresh ginger 200ml water, 100ml milk, and honey. Came delicious
It is a kind of special fun to see those tea leaves and flowers up and down.
One video and I am hooked. Just had my first home-made chai tea from a mixture I had gotten as a present. Then you look for how its made. And your are surprised how easy it is. As always, good things are made of only a few good ingredients. Thanks for the nice video.
made this today for my husband and myself.....it was FANTASTIC! I will be making this frequently in the future. :)
"Understand your Ginger first" & "Maybe I'll give some to my dog" ! haha Awesome! Love your enthusiasm! Going to try now!
"Maybe he has a cold" haha
Brilliant video - thank you! All my favourite spices in a cup.
I really like this video and also this man has a very nice voice and attitude. THANK YOU. And I love chai tea too. My Indian cookbook didn't have a chai tea recipe and I was irritated about that but then I found this guy! So it was a good thing after all!
After trying real karak chai in the UAE I was so disappointed w the instant stuff in the US. I just made my own with your recipe and I’m never looking back!!
And you’re right: the jaggery makes ALL the difference!!
Karak chai is the very BEST tea ever
I just made this for me and my sister, and this is so amazingly good! I could drink it all day. God bless India!
I’m very excited to try this! There’s a few things here I haven’t seen in other recipes (using jaggery, whole cardamom, much more specific about type of tea, etc). So, I’m hoping this will be closer to the chai I’ve been trying to recreate ever since I moved away from my favorite Indian grocery and cafe 😩
I love chai tea,and it's spiciness, and was introduced to jaggery as well so when it's not used in the tea I miss its flavor.I'm going to try my hand at making this, I will try my best to get it right. Thank you for this wonderful video.
I enjoyed a lot the presentation spiced with your humor. Somehow you managed to transmit your passion for Chai Masala. Can hardly wait to try it! Thank you sir!
He has such happy eyes and I could listen to him speak forever!
Thank you for this video! Great detail and lovely personality.
You have such a warm and kind energy! Thank you for sharing your heart with the world!
Oh thank you so much for such lovely complements 😊. So glad that you enjoyed it 😊
I completely agree with the need to stock the kitchen with versatile utensils that are not only good for food preparation, but can also aid in self defense should the need arise, which is why I own a large and rather menacing looking molcajete. I had all the ingredients necessary for this chai recipe except for jaggery, so I used Mexican piloncillo instead which is the next best thing considering there are no Indian supermarkets in my city. I am never going back to prepackaged chai teabags. This preparation has become my afternoon ritual once I'm done with work. Thank you for showing us what the good stuff should taste like.
Omg I'm subscribing for two reasons, I'm happy for the simple enough recipe and also because this guy is hilarious! I really enjoyed this and can't wait to try!
And I subscribed for a third reason......easy on the eye 😉
Wonderful warm sharing of this beautiful recipe. Thank you
This video actually made my day better. Thank you for the recipe :).
Such a warm contagious energy.Thank you.
As i had to do some kind of process for my academic presentation I choosed this one..The way he is presenting it very cool....🤩SHABASH🤩

Thank you for sharing!! I have been looking for an authentic recipe like this for some time!
Wow - this video is really well done....clear instructions....fun personality....kudos!!
Thank you for this delicious recipe and for your charming presentation.
Love everything about this video. 🙏🏽
Hi. Thanks. It's.a great recipe. Jaggery is known as panela in Colombia, is so popular in my country.
Lovely video. Thank you for this recipe 😊
Love the sound effect
I’m never going back to buying pre-made tea bags this is the only way to make proper tea 😂! Thanks for this video it’s very helpful
Just made my first ever masala chai following your recipe (as closely as possible). First thoughts was I didn't care for the smell. But the first sip has spices and pepper and that "British Tea" vibe that your nose misses. I knew there was black pepper, but for some reason I didn't expect the kick.
I like it. And that's only my first ever chai. Upwards from here I hope with refinements and practice to taste! :)
Complete and very useful material. Thanks Srikant
💗 My favourite tea, but I always buy it. Thank you for the recipe with excellent explanations.
Love it! Love your explanations! Thank you! 🌺
i just made this, and its goood! thank you!
This is now my favorite channel for Indian recipes! You are very clear and go step-by-step. I appreciate that.
☺🙏
Great video! So well done. Thanks.
thank you for appreciating Shwiru!
Awesome video! Thank you so much!!
As you say granded spice freshly Mike a big difference, thanks for this recipe, and I can say that your presentation of subject is very good, I'm from Morocco and I'm very happy to know this traditional recipe, and I will try for my children and I will see your other recipe I thank that they will be nice as son as this thanks twice
Thank you ☺️ wonderful recipe
So many thanks for this recipe!
Thank you Brother. I appreciate your video. I will try making it. Have a great day. Greetings from Hawaii!
Thanks for sharing. It's delicious and now I can make it myself. He does have very nice storytelling skills.
Your voice is so relaxing 😌 And the tea is even more relaxing. Thank you so much! Starbucks chai tea could never 😂
Love this video sooo much! What an honor to hear about real authentic chai ☕️ tea process. I have so much respect for this. Now I’m going to sip and make the sound to make everyone jealous 😆
Slurp slurp 😁
you’re voice and accent are so soothing tbh (in a non-sexual way lol), made me really enjoy watching this tutorial, and love the camera work and editing put into this! you just got a new subscriber! :)
Haha😂 , it must be the ginger keeping my vocal cords smooth.
Excellent instructions and lovely presentation due to the person doing it. Loved this and will make some tea ASAP. Here in the North East of the USA we are blessed with a very large Indian population and Indian groceries are everywhere. Namaste
Awesome video.. Very comprehensive. Thanks!
Beautiful! I must do this, thank you💕
I made this tonight and followed your directions to a T. OMG! 😂 The best and most authen-THICK masala chai I have ever tasted in my life! I told -errr I texted my friends about my life changing experience (😂) and shared your channel. I had most of the spices except the cardamon pods I had to purchase. I did not expect the smell of the cardamon are somewhat minty. I LOVE it! Thank you, thank you🥰
Reading this comment makes me so happy :). Tomorrow's tea is going to be extra authen-thick and strong.😁😁 Thank you ! :)
Always looking to perfect my chai recipe and I really loved this. Also really liked the presenter and the extra attention to ingredients! 🥰 oh and the teapots in the background!! 😍
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful recipe.
I make my tea just like your recipe and I am looking it!😋☕.
Your voice is amazing! 😍 Thank you so much for this authentic recipe. 🙏 I can't wait to try it!
i have masala tea either without milk or with a drop of milk like western tea and i love it, i cant wait to try this recipie.
Great video,I will try your version even though I am afraid of all the black pepper. And for all the vegans out there, Chai tastes just as wonderful with soy milk which has a very similar fat and protein content as whole milk.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge
He did not say “for self defense” 😂💀😭
Thanks for such a nice representation
Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thank you
You make me smile, laugh, and want to make the chai!
Loved this!!!
i guess this is what my colleagues at work call chuka kapi. drink it when i don't feel well esp when i have cough or colds. thank you for your demo i wrote my comment before you even mentioned "colds" past 6minutes. i now understand the masala tea served in the cafeteria is very spicy when i can perhaps request less pepper and more jaggery.
Bonjour depuis la France !! Thanks for the recipe
I love how you talk and explain things! Greetings from México :)
@Ms. Tacoz Es verdad!!! Crei iba a hacer atole!!!😆😆😆🥰
yummmmmmmy. I'm loving this tea I just found it. Your recipe looks delicious can't wait to try thank you.
The best. Thanks for this!
Love the whole narrative. Yes, I do secretly wish my Indian friends would brew it for me :)
Just let them know, they'd be more than happy. Trust me 😊
I love mine with lots of pepper & ginger! :)
Thank Bellyfish... Loved your tea. You have done so well
Thank you so much ! I'm so glad you loved it.
