Check out this incredible 1966 Pontiac GTO! This GTO was the recipient of an extensive Frame - Off Rotisserie Restoration and it looks amazing inside and out! Take a look at the beautifully straight body sporting the original Teal Exterior Paint Color, 15'' Cragar Wheels with BFGoodrich Radial T/A Tires, Hood Scoop, Dual Headlights, Door Quarter Vent Windows, Chrome Bumpers, and the Polished Trim. Inside, this '66 is sporting the original Teal Color Interior with Vinyl Upholstery, Blue Carpeting with Floor Mats, Woodgrain Dashboard Trim, Center Console, Wood Grain Shifter Knob, Front Bucket Seats, and a Spare Tire Cover in the trunk.
Under the hood sits a 389ci V8 Engine with an Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake and a Holley 4150 750 CFM 4 - Barrel Carburetor sitting on top! Power is put to the pavement through a Muncie M20 4 - Speed Manual Transmission and a 10 Bolt Limited Slip Rear End with approximately 3.32:1 Gears. This '66 GTO drives wonderfully, and it's also loaded with Power Brakes! The underside of this GTO looks just as nice as its topside! Wow. I have just always loved the 67 GTO but this 66 is so sweet it'll give you cavities. That color. It's my favorite and not just because it's layed on this GTO it just happens to be my favorite color my entire life. I can't believe this thing could still be available. I've got to visit Vanguard Motors one of these days.

I had a '66 that my dad bought for me on a used car lot in 1972, before the Arab oil embargo and gas prices went through the roof. It was the same body style as this one (2 dr. hardtop), but was gold outside and inside. Even in '72 I got quite a few compliments about how beautiful it was. That double gold with the factory tinted glass was a stunner when it was shined up and waxed down. One of the best cars I've ever owned in terms of maintainance. I took good care of it too. Burning tires and hard acceleration tests very rarely. Oh, and an oil change about every 2,000 miles, too. 😉
