- I’m going to be doing some needed deep cleaning and thought I would start a Spring Cleaning Series.
I’ll be going room by room, one at time, to get each area deep cleaned for the spring 🌸
I hope this series helps inspire you to deep clean when me and get those areas that don’t get a regular cleaning cleaned ❤️

My granddaughter is scared of the dark. She stayed the night with me one weekend while my husband was away at work. I was on the phone with him and she came out saying she could hear things in his office and swore the room was haunted. As a joke, my husband told her if she put a penny face up in the doorway, the ghost wouldn't be able to pass thru it. The next day, I was walking by his office, and there in the middle of the doorway was a penny faceup. Hahaha. I have no idea where she tracked one down, but she did. It's still there. Lol. Probably at least a year now. I just clean around it. We gotta keep them ghost contained!!
Chall that was actually genius advice from grandpa 👏👏👏 your granddaughter was on a mission after that and I bet she slept great ❤️ and the fact that the penny is still there is my favorite part of the story 😂

I found your channel not long ago when you posted your first declutter of 2024 and I fell in love with your personality! Kind of embarassing but kinda proud to say I went back to the beginning and have now watched ALL of your videos!! OMG 😅 kinda sad I won't get to binge watch them anymore but so happy to have found you! I love your determination and seeing how much you've grown in not only your decluttering journey but really all aspects of life because one thing just leads to another and wow you are such an inspiration! I am a plant mom too and love them! Though sometimes I forget to water them but I have so far kept my 10 indoor plants alive and am looking forward to gardening outside when it gets warmer! Jodi, since you already keep products on the shower base, have you tried keeping a cleaning product and a scrub daddy sponge in there too? That way, you can clean one wall every time you wash your hair, for example. That’s what I do. It stays super clean and I’m never spending more than a few minutes cleaning it. But I mean whatever works, right? Love this series already💕💕

Love seeing what projects you’re working on! As I watch I’m pulling out the next size totes of clothes for my 9 month old and getting everything wash, dried and put away. Also cleaned all the too small stuff out of her closet and sorting it to give away to friends and family with smaller babies. I’m sad my youngest is growing up so fast but I love every time I can get bags of stuff out of the house!
They grow so fast at that age! Yay for a new season and getting rid of the clothes that don’t fit so someone else can use them ❤️
I deep cleaned my bathroom last week. It was a lot of work but like you, I was so happy when I finished. I just love looking at a finished project with that feeling of accomplishment.

9:56 caulking is deteriorating near the bottom tiles by the basin of shower. I recommend adding caulking so no moisture gets behind there. 👍👍💞
I have a little one home sick and school break starts tomorrow so I'm cleaning and lysoling everything trying to get ahead of the kids being home for break cuz cleaning while they are all home is like raking leaves during a hurricane lol. Congratulations ViV on your awesome bowling scores. I suck at bowling lol it's not as easy as it looks!! Love watching your family and your bubbly personality makes my bad days better!!

Yea, Spring house cleaning is calling my name too. I was sitting in my bedroom looking at the walls, and decided that its time to paint my room and my husbands mancave. This will be a joint effort of my son and i. Then after the painting is done I want new wall to wall carpeting and that's where my hubby comes in. Both bedrooms are small so it won't take long. In 2014 we Converted from electric heat to gas so we had to remove the heaters. Need!was to say the wall needs sheetrock and patching to be able to paint that area. So we are starting from the ceiling and working down. Two bedrooms now, and our master in the fall. That's my goal, we will see, lol

Side note: for thoae of us who are bowling newbies and don't have an A1 Top Notch Coach!! (Thank you Coach for teaching Viviana!!) ...the floor boards are perfectly straight in front you. If you look down the lane you will see arrows. Follow your foot alignment with the floor boards. Think of this as your Catwalk. Keep eyes focused on the arrows. Align your wrist with your body so that your bent elbow is directly facing the floor and the ball sits comfortably in your hand while holding it up. Keep your motion swift when you toss the ball and allow & use that let-go momentum of energy to be released with ease and let gravity to work FOR you. Do not throw the ball. You are rolling the ball outward from you not throwing it like a baseball or football. This is NOT that sport. Keep your wrist up and straight aligned with the arrows ahrad of you. Bring the ball slowly back behind you keeping your arm straight and aim directly down your eyesight of the arrow. Your steps should be measured and precise. Like sneaking up on a cat. Not tip-toeing though, just singular straight steps forward marching, heel to toe. You make less sound and scratching of the floor this way, as well. Then let loose the ball underhanded simply tossing her forward - like throwing a bouquet of flowers to a toddler. The ball should be aimed directly with the arrow so that it rolls down the lane to the designated pins you would like to eliminate. Hope that helps! There are great online RUclips Bowling videos to watch...its actually very entertaining!!👍👍😍

Hi Jodi, Yeah, on getting a bonus video. I cleaned my hall bathroom and shower last night. My husband uses it instead of the master, which is really my bathroom. I need to get the scrubber. I will tackle mine soon and repaint it all, even going to repaint my claw foot tub, and replacing my shower head in my shower too. Love your saying " progress, not perfection." That inspires me. I agree with you, the shower is the worst! I love how you don’t pre-clean the area you’re going to work on in your videos because that makes me feel so much better about my own spaces. I so enjoy watching your videos, cleaning up your backyard, your organizing, and when you clean the house. And I also have to tell you, that I am so jealous that you live in Michigan because that is where my husband and I want to retire to! Lol.

So here in Southern Illinois the weatherman said we were going to get a little snow but nothing on the roads to cause havoc! I saw this pop up and was so excited for a Friday edition of Jodi tv. 😊😁. I laughed so hard about the penny! There was one in my garage and I was totally fine with leaving it, but Dad took a butter knife and flipped it over so he could "safely" pick it up. 🤪

I've always heard if you see penny tails up, you flip it heads up so the next person who sees it, picks it up and gets the luck. One time my boyfriend picked up a tails up penny and I gasped and told him to put it back down heads up. He didn't, just rolled his eyes and put it in his pocket. 😂

Hi Jodi! My life has been a mess lately and I went on my well deserved vacations last week, so I'm late watching this video. But as always, you gave me the perfect motivation to deep clean my bathroom 😂 Just like you I hate cleaning the shower.

I have finally gotten caught up on watching your videos (I've introduced myself in your email).
I was going to recommend the Scotts Liquid Gold until I saw you already discovered it. The only other two tips I can share are for a bathtub drain, I bought a drain plug on Amazon called a mushroom, and it has been a game changer for me on preventing hair clogs in the tub.
The other tip is for your silk flower arrangements.... I buy the canned compressed air that you use for blowing out a computer keyboard. I use it to blow the dust out of silk flower arrangements and fine details of nick-nacks. My sister does it outside but I just hold it low over my carpet and then vacuum after. 😉
BTW, do you frequently change the air filter on your house? That can help with the dust.
You are a treasure! I so enjoy watching you. I’m in Michigan too, also getting started on my spring cleaning because it was almost 70 yesterday but today is plunging into the 20s. Might as well put the Christmas lights back up. 😂

Hi Jodi, Love this extra video! I have four days off from babysitting so I deep cleaned my granddaughter’s room, the kitchen and the bathroom. Overdid it, still recovering from my meniscus woes but ice packs helped a great deal. Going to sleep late tomorrow. I love my steam shot for cleaning out the fridge. Congratulations Viviana!

The funniest part about the penny is your Hubs saying he wouldn't pick it up either. We do not follow that particular train of thought but we do believe if you pick a penny up you have to share (give it away) to get the good luck. I WILL NOT walk under a ladder.... NOPE NOPE NOPE !!!!!😂🤣😂🤣

In between times of scrubbing out the drain - becuz it has to be done from time to time - I'm hoping this saves you on scrubbing - pour in some baking soda and white vinegar and let it foam up like a volcano!! It is so much fun!! You could even get the girls in on that one!! They would probably love it!!👍👍

I use , WalMart oven cleaner for my shower. Once ever 6 weeks, lol. It's revolutionized my life. Works on enamal and glass stove top, so many things.

Least favorite chore... vacuuming. Hands down. It's a multiple negative for me...1) sensory overload due to the noise. 2) allergies to dust and mold which is always kicked up. 3) as I'm still recovering from surgery, the motion of vacuuming is still quite painful. 4) if I owned my own house I would REMOVE ALL CARPETING. It's SO MUCH EASIER to put a damp towel on a broom and clean the floor. No flying dust or pet hair. Just extra load of laundry.
VIVIANA: fingertip bowling IS a special learning curve but it is SO WORTH IT!!! 172! Great improvement!!! 212!!! Even BETTER!!!🎉🎉🎉 30-40 PINS above average . Wow. That's phenomenal!!! Especially the next day with 6 games! Congratulations!!!

That’s so funny about the penny. I’ve never heard that saying before. In Scotland, my grandmother used to say. ( see a penny pick it up all day long you’ll have good luck) I actually can’t walk past a penny without picking it up. It never occurred to me that some people would say something different. I wonder what it is about pennies.

I have the same toilet. I put a couple of washers under the screw. It gives a space so I can spray cleaner under it. When I do take it apart now once a year, I put the seat in the shower and spray hot water and spray cleaner to get the tight spaces clean. I have the steam shot but like you said, what a pain to get it out. Lol

I love bowling. When I was on a team my highest score was a 235. Everything was clicking that night. Of course the next game was a lot lower. I usually carried a 145 average. I have arthritis so bad now in my back and knees that if I went bowling my approach would be a lot different. Plus I wouldn’t be able to move the next day. lol.

I HATE cleaning the bathtub. I really need to soon. I just got off work at 8:40am (I worked 9pm to 8:30pm) and i REALLY want to go clean right now, but i know if i try to bend over, i may fall and crack my face open soooo. BUT Sunday im doin it. (I work another 8 hours tomorrow, this time just 12 to 8pm :D but sunday for sure
