Hi I installed the camera and the wires correctly, the camera's LED's switch on but the head unit does nothing when I put the camera in reverse anyone an idea?

My top panel doesn’t show my consumption/ left km anymore, only climatic temperature and strongness. does someone know why? Can this be caused by my radio?

Hey, loved the in depth video, was planning to get the same thing for my Mazda 3 2005 GT . I live in Kamloops BC Canada, will the customs charge me money for this ? Any way i can avoid paying such charges and if yes how much can they charge?

Hi did you try using waze on your unit.Because mine stay for few minutes and turns off on its own.

Hey man, what year is your car? I have been told by Eonon that on my 2005 Mazda 3, I will lose all LCD screen functions. Do you have any idea as to how I could get around this? I would hate to just have a blank LCD screen that doesn't even work...

how does internet work on it like wifi?
Is the unit able to read a navigation map card that is from Ford or Mazda, etc. Or do you have to download a map onto a formatted SD card in order for the unit to be able to read it?
Google maps or any other android navigation app on the playstore is what it uses, so you connect it to wifi to download map files.

Hi, I just installed the same radio. I used a branching connector. Pretty simple, because there are only two cable from the reverse light. On the harness of the unit there are two pink cable, you can use to connect. So, two branching connector for the reverse light, one connector on the eonon harness (pink cable).

One of my buddies has a similar one on his e46 and it's still going strong. It's not even labeled eonon, it's still a Chinese toy but it works just like in day one.

I plugged it to the one coming from the big wire
2006+ models have a separate cable for this connection, older ones simply don't not work if you install an after market unit.
Does this work with iPhone ? And is there Bluetooth ?
Question what is the sound quality of this radio I know the stock radio is supposed to be Bose audio.
Only the Grand Touring is bose and it still uses the bose speakers through this head unit
hey there, ive been looking for a new stereo and wanted to get something like this. I came a crossed two models GA7151A(yours) which comes with a octa-core and has android 6.0 for 325$ and another model GA8151 with a quad-core and android 7.1 which is 299..........i dont know which one is better! what do you think

I routed the long cable around the side plastic covers on the floor to the trunk under the carpet, and under the top felt trunk cover to the trunk backup light, then warped the connection ends to the ends of one of the lights to have it activate.
Lol 1st gen mazda3s do come with aux jack it’s just in the center counsel

Also how you attached the LCD display to the new radio. Mine is attached to the frame of the old one and on my new one there are no holes for the frame's screws. Could you please help?

Skipping?, I didn't skip it, it plugged in properly, the manual was just a bit confusing, never had an issue with the radio. it worked perfectly fine :)
Does the unit come with a GPS card? Or does the GPS just automatically work without wifi?
Most likely the GPS needs wifi of u may need to download an offline GPS app with the maps.
You can get an aftermarket Bluetooth radio for that price

This one is a bit old now they have new Android verisons so idk if those have been fixed.
Was there any brokerage fees from the shipping company? if I buy this system can I come over and get your help with the install, lol. I see you're in the lower mainland, BC.
It's been so long I can't remember lol I want to say no but if anything it might have been $50-$80. Might depend on the shipping method, if its DHL they will charge for sure.
I would but I don't want to install it again haha one time is enough specially when it comes to the backup camera, but it was worth it

Thanks a lot for the video, i just bought eonon android system (8151) with rear camera and i have Mazda 3 from 2008, so it is super useful for me :)
One question (or two): You said nothing about to control the radio (or mp3 player) of the android system with the buttons in the Wheel ¿it's working correctly? Also, how do you change your old display info? i mean, you know that you can change between clock and computer info like average speed, left km, and so.
And last question, what did you need to remove in the rear part of the car to install the camera?

NP :) Yes you can still switch modes for radio, music & volume using the wheel, as for the clock/mini top display there is a button combo from the wheel that you can use by holding down the mode button, there are videos on youtube on how to do it but I plan to talk about the whole system in the next video which is the review
As for the backup camera the cables went under the plastic shroud around the edge of the car and under the back seats which simply pop off then from there I routed it behind the center back seat where it goes under trunk carpet and splits off to the backup camera and the break light
I might make a dedicated video about the backup camera as well

Eonon ships from singapore anyway. Even if you order from the official eonon homepage. Shipping to SA should't be a problem...

Thanks, those I got years ago from a now closed store called X-Cargo, a quick search online you may be able to find something similar, they are really nice when you got LED lights under each seat, it makes it glow and bounce the light everywhere. (eBay, Amazon, search transparent car floor mats)

I have problem with the Bluetooth “not working”

Basically 2 of he exposed backup camera wires you hook them up to one of the backup lights, doesn't matter which terminal, positive/negative, what I did is made the wires pointy by twisting them and inserting them in between the bulb cradle terminals

It was actually a discarded flat piece of print that I heated and bent & cut a hole to fit around the license plate light circle mount.
As for the USB this is what I got: amzn.to/3lXpn3v, there should be a new model that has quickcharge such as this one: amzn.to/2VR8uNk

@Total Kommando Oh ok I thought it was an actual print ok and I thought the USB was a pass though USB from the radio I’m after a piece that replaces the panel where the cigarette lighter goes to have USB pass though and cigarette lighter power can u show me a photo of the bracket for the reverse camera thank you for your reply and help

I would go for the GA8151 for the newer software! It is on sale, I would say totally worth getting it :)
