  • Early morning update for my viewers. This situation is rapidly evolving, highly dynamic so expect more coverage throughout the day and into tomorrow. Significant severe threat for major populated areas in the southeast, and looks like general model thinking is up to a foot of snow in some Mid-West locations. This is only wave 1 of our substantial winter storm threat with two more on the horizon.

    Special weather statements popping over eastern Texas, convection already bubbling up as this video releases. Infrared satellite shows very strong storms moving and spinning out over the GoM as the warm layer surges north. Dynamics are there for severe weather for sure

    Thank you so much for your non-alarmist "realistic" weather projections. I am so sick of over sensationalized reporting, and over dramatization of weather where every cold spell is called historic or associated with a Polar Vortex.
    Oh, and it's looking like Lake Meade, Lake Powell, and the Mississippi River aren't going to be drying up as the Climate Change nuts have been reporting lol.

    This storm is gonna definitely cause major problems and economic interruption to near in the billions. In fact in National Weather Service office in Boston said they may have to issue hurricane force, wind alerts out in the seas of Cape Cod. There’s definitely gonna be widespread 40 to 60 mph gusts, and it could be locally higher amounts as well, especially along the coast. The alerts are like a Christmas tree. So power outages are going to be a big concern, and they could be a multi day outage for some people.

    • @WxCenterNazario
      @WxCenterNazario  6 месяцев назад +2

      This is a very deep and amplified system for sure. Very strong polar jet max digging into its center which is why we’re seeing great expansion of the comma head. It’ll influence the weather for nearly 3/4 of the country

    • @WxCenterNazario

      Don’t be scared! There’s a good potential you could see a tornado warning or two go off for your local area. Watching radar as we speak very closely and there’s rotating cells off the gulf coast headed for southern Louisiana at this time. As the front comes closer we could see these storms push further inland

      I’ve touched on Arkansas in a few previous segments. Based on the way the pattern is set up seems like strongest storms, hail, tornado threat is down toward the gulf coast. Arkansas can still see/should be seeing strong winds, some lightning, and lots of rainfall
