- Early morning update for my viewers. This situation is rapidly evolving, highly dynamic so expect more coverage throughout the day and into tomorrow. Significant severe threat for major populated areas in the southeast, and looks like general model thinking is up to a foot of snow in some Mid-West locations. This is only wave 1 of our substantial winter storm threat with two more on the horizon.
Special weather statements popping over eastern Texas, convection already bubbling up as this video releases. Infrared satellite shows very strong storms moving and spinning out over the GoM as the warm layer surges north. Dynamics are there for severe weather for sure
U chasing this one brother 🥃
@@BrianFloridastrongI am!
Tracking multiple rotating storms trying to move to the right of the steering flow off the Texas and Louisiana coastlines right now
@@WxCenterNazario they are moving so fast as well . We got mass and density,
@@BrianFloridastrong exactly, that pre frontal flow is driving these storms up and in quick
Thank you for keeping us updated ❤
You’re most welcome! Glad to have you tuning in from the tok
I'm going to echo my sentiments yesterday I hope everyone alright despite these powerful blizzards and tornado outbreaks!
I completely agree. Have a feeling this video will be smothered by all the snow vids dropping, but at least folks who do tune in have something to reference
@WxCenterNazario the Blizzard Hype is probably going to smother ur video, but anyway, this video was great and very informative!
@@Nomadcat4 thank you very much for watching
Really appreciate you taking time to keep us updated. Could make all the difference!
Absolutely. Been at the desk all morning into the afternoon
I just hope that Winter Storm Finn is going to be one that is going to be remembered, for excess snowfall rather than fatalities. I am keeping people in the southeastern United States in my thoughts and prayers.
The snowfall doesn’t seem too extensive currently. But the blizzard conditions will likely be remarkable
Eastern North Carolina here. Thank you SO much!
Very welcome, thank you for watching. Severe weather threat will be tracked consistently throughout the day. We’ll be going live tonight to further discuss
@WxCenterNazario I'll be watching! Can you give a better idea of the timeline for my area?? Local weather said flat out they don't know until it gets closer. Trying to decide if I should keep my son home from school or not.
@@AlyssaGrace I’ll nail down times for you for sure. Make sure to hit me in the chat when we go live and can definitely get back to you
@@WxCenterNazario Absolutely! Thank you! 😊
Thank you so much Nazario.
Very welcome!
Hi Nazario at least l learned how to find your page on weather. Thank you for your time. I am in kuntucky in Radcliff. My daughter is in Fort Knox with her husband. Hope things calm down a bit with time for you and for everyone worldwide.😊
Wow! How clear do you explain where these storms will hit or possibility. Thank you. Stay safe!😊
Thank you! In Upper Tampa Bay there is a Wind Advisory and a Coastal Flood Advisory from NWS so far.
I project we’ll see these watches and advisories escalate over time. Hopefully early morning we see tornado watches go out
Thank you so much for your non-alarmist "realistic" weather projections. I am so sick of over sensationalized reporting, and over dramatization of weather where every cold spell is called historic or associated with a Polar Vortex.
Oh, and it's looking like Lake Meade, Lake Powell, and the Mississippi River aren't going to be drying up as the Climate Change nuts have been reporting lol.
First time watching you weather channel. I will definitely be following you henceforth.
Appreciate you tuning in, and grateful this video is reaching folks. Working hard to try to dispel what doesn’t need to be broadcast while also keeping an eye closely on what does need interrogating and discussing!
THANKS :D
Of course! Hope to see you later this evening
I will see ya later, do not worry :D
You the man nazario!
I appreciate you Mike, thank you for watching
2 Inch hail in downtown Lake Charles over toward Sowela Community College
Been tracking that! Right moving cell with rotation with it still headed further inland. Multiple spinning cells back behind it
😂😂 the big tamale 🫔
Had to come up with something “spicy” lol
I haven't witnessed a blizzard since I lived in Buffalo...
Stay safe
Thank you! We’re doing our best
National weather service reporting 2 inch hail in lake Charles LA
I’d just shared this on my insta. Nice right mover supercell passing right overtop lake Charles on radar. Looks like plenty more rotating cells behind it
This storm is gonna definitely cause major problems and economic interruption to near in the billions. In fact in National Weather Service office in Boston said they may have to issue hurricane force, wind alerts out in the seas of Cape Cod. There’s definitely gonna be widespread 40 to 60 mph gusts, and it could be locally higher amounts as well, especially along the coast. The alerts are like a Christmas tree. So power outages are going to be a big concern, and they could be a multi day outage for some people.
This is a very deep and amplified system for sure. Very strong polar jet max digging into its center which is why we’re seeing great expansion of the comma head. It’ll influence the weather for nearly 3/4 of the country
@@WxCenterNazario in fact 46 out of the 50 states are under some sort of a weather alert
Is natchez Mississippi going to get tornadoes and strong winds and hail today we kinda scared right now Sir
Don’t be scared! There’s a good potential you could see a tornado warning or two go off for your local area. Watching radar as we speak very closely and there’s rotating cells off the gulf coast headed for southern Louisiana at this time. As the front comes closer we could see these storms push further inland
@@WxCenterNazarionoooo I’m in Pensacola and scared too
@@Somebodysomewheresometime me too somebody really scared we supposed to have stong winds and tornadoes i hope not i live right beside tornado siren hurt's my ears it so loud
@@Somebodysomewheresometime don't be scared. Here in the weather center actively watching as much as I can. Lots of storms firing but we'll keep you ahead of it. Stay tuned for live discussion later today if not tonight for even more thorough info
@@WxCenterNazario okay Sir im trying to chill out i have a family with me my boys and wife
WHAT ABOUT ARKANSAS???
I’ve touched on Arkansas in a few previous segments. Based on the way the pattern is set up seems like strongest storms, hail, tornado threat is down toward the gulf coast. Arkansas can still see/should be seeing strong winds, some lightning, and lots of rainfall
WHY DO YOU NEVER TALK ABOUT WEATHER THAT AFFECTS ARKANSAS????
