The level of the routine is so high that there only has been in total 3 women in the over 100 years history of artistic cycling riding a routine with this level.
The routine is my second last competition I participated after 20 years of competing in artistic cycling. It was a competition between Germany, Austria and Switzerland in November 2019. In December 2019 I then won the vice-worldchampionship. With the worldchampionship I endet my competition career and I am now focusing on doing videos for social media with the sport.

Viola, your routine was perfect! I can't imagine how hard it was to you seeing this now that you're retired. But allow me to say: You ARE a magnificent inspiration and real model, not only for girls and women's in this sport, but for everyone in all aspects of life! You've may have retired but this doesn't make you less athlete or skilled. Quite the opposite! I know that thousands of people learned what is Artistic Cycling because of you. And not only because you appeared in a TV show, but because it is almost palpable the hard work you've been putting throughout the years to perfect yourself. We saw you fight against things that would make someone break or give up as an athlete and yet you thrived. A marvelous example of resilience! All of that without losing your natural bright, perfect smile and contagious joy... Viola Brand will be remembered because several reasons, but Artistic Cycling will be remembered because of Viola Brand. You added so much for this sport and for the life of others, dare I say, beyond your imagination. Thank you for allowing me witnesses and be touched and motivated by your greatness as an athlete and woman.

Words are not enough. Viola on her bike is one of the most stunning astonishing pieces of ART, skill, courage, and visual beauty I've ever seen. I wrote my 10,000 word University dissertation on the concept of Beauty! Viola performing on her bike like this is the very definition of both ART & BEAUTY.🙏❤️👏🔥😎
This beautiful 💕 girl is a prime example of what the human spirit can achieve with dedication, practice, perseverance, more practice, hard work, study, and last but not least confidence and passion. She makes the seemingly impossible seem easy with grace and beauty.❤
There's literally nothing in the world that combines beauty and difficulty better into one package than artistic cycling, and Viola Brand is the best at pulling it off so flawlessly.
Your competition videos always make my jaw drop! I can see how this routine was one of the top 3 in the history of artistic cycling! Thanks for sharing your competition career with us!

In one of her videos Viola said that one of the few times she seriously hurt herself was learning that jump from seat to handlebars. She fell and broke her foot.

Mine did run away. It's currently in rehab. Got mixed up with mopeds and started freebasing WD-40 and chain lining 3 in 1 oil. It's so sad. keep those chains tight.

Great skill and dedication
Viola, Thank you for being an inspiration to everyone who sees you perform. I asked my 10 year old what he saw in your performance and he said focus. That makes me think about the mind control you have to do what you do. I have never had any calm control of my mind but now I have learned that is what I need more than anything else. Thank you for presenting this notion to me. It is applied to every step and thought I make now. Thanks again and have a nice day from my family in eastern Canada.

This video works on two levels.
Watch it once with the sound on and enjoy the display .
Then watch it with the sound muted, because to some degree the music gets in the way of the technical performance and I found I could actually sense your tension, nervousness and apprehension during the various manoeuvres and transitions.
You had some bumpy landings and could have touched down at one point, BUT you didn't, and that is what made this performance so good to watch and of course you are the worthy winner. 😍👍 🏆
This is after all, an Artform and so visually pleasing, enjoyable and informative too.
