I appreciate you sharing this. I do wish you had shown a couple things more clearly. The smaller diameter hose that needs a hose clamp clipped off and the resistor connections / how you secured the wires so they weren't flopping around. Not trying to be critical, but rather hope you'll show things like this in future videos. Thanks!
Could you send the link to these products, that would be xtremely helpful! I'd like to but it for my Countryman. Very Helpful video btw, keep up the great work!🤙
I have JCW Paceman. Help that tick/ knock … Use Amsoil Synthetic Euroblend. I made my own Catch can…. Not many available, it’s a must have. Carbon clean every oil change with with CRC intake valve / turbo cleaner. Change plugs every 40K. I also have 2-other Minis and a 2005 WRX STi. Which are all highly modded. R60-R61 Minis don’t like mods much… it can quickly make them worse. Ecu tuning is key if possible. Have fun
Awesome! I just recently got a 07 Cooper S that has 72k on the engine, has a pretty annoying valve tick which im used to as my 08 Impreza does the same, but just to clarify and make sure im going to be getting the right stuff would you mind telling me if this is it? @@liampettit7446 Yes the CRC cleaner you linked in your post is the correct cleaner for the Mini. Buy 2-bottles and clean before every oil change. Believe me it makes a massive difference in the first few uses. As for the Amsoil oil. It’s expensive but worth every penny. I use it on all my vehicles for many many many years. www.amsoil.com/search/?text=European+blend&timezoneOffset=240 The oil… just search for Amsoil European Blend 5W-30. As for reliability for the Mini… Replace all fluids being that your at +70K. Replace fuel filters if possible and spark plugs. Replace belts and look for worn out items under the hood. I personally know that all cars around 100K are going to need many parts to be replaced so I keep the wallet on stand by anticipating failure. Look for reliability issue videos and topic/ forums know for your model across the web. Mini are NOT Toyotas which are more reliableI. I would highly suggest getting an oil catch can for extra reliability. There are tons of books and sites for the Mini with much resources available that talk about know common issues .
Not really, the NM intake sits over the intake manifold getting away from the hot side where the turbo manifold and turbo are. Plus once moving and over 20mph, there's an abundance of cool air moving through the engine bay. At least thats what NM says. Only regret I have with the intake is I didn't get the carbon fiber one.
@@MojoGarage I now understand. Just bought one last week and I totally get what you’re saying now. These things tic like a clock but they’re great fun. Keep uploading brother. Oh, you don’t live too far from me. Do you know anyone selling an e46 in manual? Would make a nice second car.
The down pipe and intercooler were a night and day difference in performance. Same thing with the intake. The charge pipes I feel gave me more turbo noises than power, but a smoother air path has to be beneficial one way or another. Lastly I know this doesn't equate to power or anything other than to appease my inner child, the pops and bangs were a lot more pronounced and I'm still stock exhaust from the down pipe back. Thanks for watching!
@MojoGarage so I plan on doing cold air intake, intercooler, downpipe, oil cooler, and iridium spark plugs. After that looking to do a dyno tune. I have a 2021 mini cooper countryman s all4. You think by doing all that, I'll hit 300hp? My goal is to get over 300.

You may want to put that turbo heat shield back on.
That will help keep the charge air a bit cooler.

One thing I see is you are moving your intake even closer to the hot side of the engine but I’m sure it fine

Hi, can you please clarify what does the NM resistor looks like and how'd you connect them?
There’s a funky sound after warmup. Not sure if it’s cable tick or what.
Yea thats my shotgun mic zeroing in on the direct injection tick, it's nowhere near that bad in person haha. Thanks for watching!

Dude that looks like my old neighborhood
Was there a engine light at all after installing?
did you remove the fresh air tube that connects to the bottom side of the OEM air box?
Where did you get the whole intake? Where can I get one?
The fuel injectors are so loud kinda scares me sometimes.
Tell me about it, I think it sounds like a spun bearing myself every now and then 😂
I might order this but did it run any codes? After using for a while?
So its been a few months and no codes for the Intake have popped up!
@@MojoGarage awesome may buy this or something cheaper any cheaper recommendation?
Where did you get the chrome delete kit from for the mini
It all came from www.smps2012.com/.
How big of a difference did you feel after doing intercooler, charge pipes, downpipes etc?
The down pipe and intercooler were a night and day difference in performance. Same thing with the intake. The charge pipes I feel gave me more turbo noises than power, but a smoother air path has to be beneficial one way or another.

Most likely forged pistons and rods to be safe and bigger turbo.
hey mate, question, what you did with the air sensor that goes connected into the original hose?
I hear you cut them, but then what? sorry about if its a dumb question..
where can i buy it
I found mine on ebay, but you can order it directly from neuspeed.com/ or www.ecstuning.com.
Ke curta para comprarlo
