I have a question: Can you use the camera standalone without the drone. Can you mount it on insta360 Invisible Selfie Stick? Greate video and keep up the good work. 💪🔥
In theory yes? But there is no built in mounting point and the stitch lines make it much less practical than a normal 360 for that type of shot. But… yes it can record without being attached to a drone or flying, I just wouldn’t recommend it.

Nice Video! Sounds silly, but does the camera record audio? Just for the purpose if you do not use it on a drone or if you use Sound for "timecode" sync
Yeah it does! I have no idea how it sounds though since all of my footage just sounded like a drone flying!
I’m going to Puerto Rico soon. I can’t decide between getting the sphere or the insta360 x3. What do you recommend for great shots?
Personally I'd choose the X3, but mostly because I always forget to fly my drone.

Does this fit on the new DJI Air 3 Drone?
Its a wonderful idea.. and so many ideas you could create out of this but the quality really seems to be lacking when watched on a bigger screen like a monitor. might work okay for reels on the phones etc. otherwise its hard to justify the loss of quality.
Yup I completely agree! I figure 90% of people are watching this YT video on a phone, so it’s not a big deal but editing on a large monitor it really doesn’t hold up against the stuff shot on regular cameras. For social content though this thing is very interesting! Also this entire video has some weird compression issues that weren’t there until uploaded.
@@JesseDriftwood Appreciate the response! And ah might have to give it a watch on a phone & see some other footage. Great concept. Can't wait till we'll have 360 footage at higher resolution only thing holding it back bit still enough for creative socials

I asked some1 on a drone channel,if that would fit on the dji mini2 and I got laughed at (thought there was no stupid question) but I knew that was how u were getting those new 360 shots, another top notch video driftwood
He didn't put it on the Mini 2, it goes on the Air 2S, which is a bit larger and has more power. I'm also curious if one could jerry-rig this to go on a Mini 2 or Mini 3 Pro though, but I'm guessing the camera and rig would be too heavy for DJIs Mini line.
It's one of those things that If i'm going to be it I'm going to use it once and then wonder why I bought it. Cool but more for youtube videos not for other applications

That’s the magic of 360 cameras! They see everything and can stitch out the information in the middle (drone, propellers).

It was an insta360 OneX2 attached to a wire cam (I think it was a Wiral Lite but I forget exactly, I borrowed it from my friend Jon Simo)

I honestly don’t know but I would assume not. The drone also isn’t waterproof so it would best not to fly in the rain to begin with.
Was that compression bad for anyone else on the intro?
The compression on the whole video actually looked weird to me! But definitely extra bad on those shots.
360 cameras are really fun, until i go to edit it and reframing anything takes so so so long. or, maybe i’m just impatient :)

hey tell the about the app to control camera only works to 33 feet mmmmmm could make it difficult to take photos higher then 33 feet lol this app is a joke ...havev fun
Oh interesting! I’ve actually never used it to take photos, only video. But I’m pretty sure that’s more of a Wi-Fi limitation of cell phones rather than purely an app issue. I’m not sure any android/iOS app is going to compete with a dedicated drone remote.
I almost wrecked my Insta360 by mounting on my DJI years ago 😂

Why are hipsters' heads always so cold? Weird hats, beanies, you'd think it was the dead of winter or something. They wear these things during summer in LA.
730 EURO!! for that price this cam should 100000000000% transform in to a normal 360 cam to use also with stick and walking. Other ways it's just redicioluos expencive! You can buy for that money MAVIC MINI 3 PRO with vertical view and nice angles. This camera should cost maximum around 300 us dollars, because u can use it only with drones, and now drones have better optics than the camera..
the biggest downside is the image quality of this insta360.
