The Painting Contest in Laguna Terrace was a wonderful success with painters from many cities producing works worthy of hanging. Residents and guests from other cities were walking
around impressed like never before and clearly enjoying the ambiance of classical violin music in the Laguna Terrace community parks.
The people who entered the contest may see the selected award-winning artists on display Wednesday evening for the first time at the Moulton Museum in Laguna Hills.
The rewards for the top three selected paintings will be given out (or mailed) and the top ten will all proceed to the next showings. The decisions for these rankings were not easy and resulted in multiple voting rounds to finalize the list.
A big CONGRATULATIONS here to those top three winners who showed us the beauty of plein air and art of painting outdoors!
Those persons not in the top ten may pick up their painting either evening. See the attached Media Release for more definitive information.
A sincere thank you to everyone who entered the contest and a big welcome to you to participate in the next contest. Your participation is an example of applying oneself and reaching higher to perform an art that many are afraid to try at all. Be proud of yourself for having entered.
