@@rosekiller123 we lost our first male 9 to bone cancer, and our other two within 2 months to bladder and brain cancer.

Have had 2 over 20 years. Pete, a white boxer completely deaf but he never lost his attention on you. I lost Pete a few years ago to cancer, and now have Tank. He is a tank at around 100 lbs. Bit of flab but lots of muscle. Strong. Both were protectors, not aggressive but let you know if something was not normal. Tank sleeps in my bed every night, head always forwards to the door of the bedroom. He is doing guard duty I guess, nothing I trained him in. Just a natural thing I suppose. He leaves bed late at night, and patrols the house, every room to make sure everything is ok, then back to bed with head facing the doorway. He loves everyone he gets to know, but strangers he doesn't know, not aggressive, but protective. You can not have a more loyal friend, than a Boxer. Lived it twice with these sweet creatures. Their love for you, is something to behold.

My boys is more of a yawn-yell, and it’s his way of giving up on the conversation, but thinking he got the last word in.
My boxer doesn't bark or get vocal unless someone is at the door or he's arguing his point of view also when sleeping he sounds like a wolf lol

When my boxer wants a toy from his basket he sounds like a nervous kid trying to ask an adult for something but can’t get the words out.

While everybody else properly walks their dog at the parc, I unleash my boxer and let her do laps , people complain but I dont care, whatever makes my boxer happy.
The only thing I worry about with unleashing my boy is his curiosity could get him in trouble. I have no fear of him hurting anybody or thing. He’s such a sweet innocent boy.
I want to bring him somewhere to let him go free but it’s just too busy around me.

Seems like Boxers with full black masks are the most talkative. I’ve had 5 and my current boy Winston is fawn with a black mask and very little flash. He’s by far the most talkative & goofiest. That says a lot considering they all had wild personalities.

I could definitely add to this!! My little girl is so vocal. She brings me the food bowl, water bowl and she doesn’t like the word no! I swear I have a child not a dog! I have to spell things out because she catches on so fast. I thought I had a special one but it’s just the breed.
