My first, and favourite family dog. Our dear little Guy. Born on November 5. May not have shown me much respect as I was 6 when we got him, but woe betide any creature that stepped to me. I was the baby of the family and was christened his "playmate" (which was a label I was thrilled with) and when my brothers would play beat me up he would go bananas at them and show them in no way was I fodder. When he did it we would all fuss and cuddle him which he loved. It was wonderful; I felt so special for the first time, someone who loved and protected me. Plus he never rejected me for a cuddle. When I was 12 and being bullied I would snuggle at night and he would throw his front leg over me and have his paw on my cheek. That paw weighted about 50g but held 100 tonnes of love and I was safe under him . I grew to be a writer and when he passed I wrote a 12 page eulogy for him. We had people that we thought were friends of the family but were really friends of him!! When my Dad and I went to work bricking mobile homes into site as permanent for an elderly residents park (we had endless business) he became spoiled rotten. They were not allowed animals and so adored hi. They would make us tea and biscuits, he would get a meal!! He was at his happiest sat in my dads van which was christened the Ten-Tonner, even though it weighed 2.5! HE would go scrabbling out when he could smell him coming, 10 seconds before he turned into the road. If he got to go to work with Daddy he would be so proud and would sit in the drivers seat like a king, or if Daddy came home at lunch he would say "want to do half a shift?" and he would be up with a shot. When he got home at nights, he would bend down so pup could take his hat off his head! He would then have a funny-five-minutes of it stuck on his face while he danced around with joy. RIP Ymar Guy Fawkes 1984-1995 and Tony James we don't know when, some time during the war - 2023
My two boxer dogs are long gone but never forgotten for a minute. I had those two female boxers who were so spoiled and still always wanted to help someway. If I was out in their back yard digging new fence post or digging a foundation for the retaining wall they were right next to me moving dirt around, keeping guard over me and their backyard especially against the evil garden hose who they both had many battles with over the decade I had them.I removed a section of old pavers and wanted to make a concrete pad where I could park my motorcycle so it would be in my yard vs outside my house . I dug a 20 x 17 area down 8” so I had a lot of dirt but there’s a field behind my yard so i could spread out the extra dirt back there but I would of had to carry it or move it with a wheel barrel and that was a lot of work . I made a harness that attached to a plastic cart with big rubber wheels design to drive over dirt and unfinished ground, hooked up the harness to the older of the two boxers and she pulled it to exactly where I told her to , waited to I dumped the cart out and she went right back to the dirt pile waiting to do it again. The only problem is her sister started getting jealous and would start bitching that she wasn’t getting a turn so I had to let each one take 5 loads and than switch it up . They both worked all morning and afternoon without ever getting tired or distracted. They both busted their ass so they got to have a human dinner that night and they had steak .
Adoro los preciosos boxers. Mi precioso bóxer Patito falleció en Navidad y tengo el corazón roto..por favor cuidenlos mucho ellos no se merecen menos.Saludos.
We had Betty for 13 years. She was 50% boxer and 50% mut. She was the most loyal sweet calm girl in the whole world. She wasn’t the smartest but she knew a few tricks. Betty, be ugly! Good girl. Betty, be fat! Good girl. Betty, be stupid. Good girl. When it was her time to go I just cried and told her she was the best girl. She did a good job of taking care of her babies. (My kids) and we will miss her and love her forever. She is buried in my dad’s back yard and he gave her a little grave stone of patio bricks. We got her as a pup when my son was a year old and my daughter was almost 3. They didn’t remember a day in their life without her there. She passed away at 13 in 2020 in the height of the pandemic. My Seymore Weiner is a wonderful boy and no dog ever loved me more. But no dog will ever compare to Betty and the love she had for her family. Especially her boy. He’s 18 now and has a cork board in his room with a collection of family pictures. Most of them are Betty. Boxers are the best dogs.
104lbs??!!! Omg!! I have a 7 month old boxer/husky mix and he's 70 lbs now. Did yours chill out/calm down? They say boxers always do bratty puppy stuff no matter how old. Coop's nose didn't stay short, sometimes he looks a little great dane. I'm going to need a bigger bed! 😂
@@alexvanhooff1357 we did it so that our dog wouldn't burn their feet on the hot pavement ! but she hated it so much we took them off and just waited till it was cooler to take her to the beach LOL
Boxers look ridiculous with a full tail and their tails are so fragile they usually end up breaking them and losing them anyway. Count me as a total disagree. Ear bobbing? NO! Tail dockiing ? YES!
Please - please - I am quite sure dogs LOVE to stick their head out the window when riding in the car but it’s dangerous- debris from the road is in their face and eyes and what will you do when a bug hits your dog in the eye at 45 miles per hour?
It's to prevent something called "happy tail". The tails of breeds like boxers have a tendency to split or break from wagging and sometimes, the will have to be amputated later in life. Not saying that this will happen evey time, but unfortunately it does happen alot, and I would rather save them from the pain later in life when it will be more memorable for them.
Than u haven’t seen a real boxer . They are extremely smart and figure things out fast , make good decisions, and will die for to protect their families especially the little ones . My two boxer dogs pinned a meter reader by his throat when he walked into the house without knocking and got close to me when I was a kid . It turns out my dad was outside and gave him permission to go into the house but they didn’t know that so they went into protection mode with the older girl who was my dog becoming a fur missile and leaped over the table to get to this poor guys neck and pin him down with her kid sister taking out his one arm so he couldn’t fight back .
I hate to see the dogs with their heads out the window of the car while driving one rock bounces up pits them in the eye it will most likely blind that I Plus cost about $8,000 at the vet some bugs can blind a dog if they hit them in the eye or damage it and cost at least 3000 at the vet but I love the boxers especially American boxers longer nose handle the heat better here in Florida just had to put my last one down due to DM disease and if you plan on getting a puppy for breeding please get the puppy check for DM and do not breed if they have it please so we can stop this disease and they still will be a great dog for you they are the clowns of the dog Kingdom

Boxers have the best personality of all dog breeds in my opinion
Yep
A quarterback, a rodeo clown, and an opera singer all rolled into one! >w
100% agree
Best dogs ever❤
But they are not the brightest 😂😂😂😂
Boxers are the most expressive dogs around. They hate it when you ignore them and they will soon enough tell you. I just love them.
Our two boxers are very expressive and funny but can have a very serious and protective side when it comes to their families. Love this breed.
These fur babies make me just want to cuddle themall. Boxers are just the most loving and goofball dogs.
Boxer dogs are my favorite their facial expressions are priceless, beautiful dogs.
Most beautifull, loving, compasionate, child friendly dogs around. They are such a pleasure to have around.
Boxers are fantastic family-dogs. So smart and funny
I think mine is broken then, sometimes he’s pretty stupid😭

No other breed gives such pleasure in keeping a pet ( should be called family)

(8:05) I can't imagine that anyone thinks it is right to do that to any animal.
I agree. It’s ridiculous

Ok so at least I know it’s not just my boxer that can’t catch lol she couldn’t catch a piece of pizza to save her life.

say no to tail-cutting!

The dog at 2:15 has that oh shit look on there face.
2 darn bad they can get so hyper 🤨
just like people when they are little they want to play and get big and older just want to sleep and eat.
(2:30) I sometimes wonder if Mother Nature intentionally left out the braincells when she designed boxers.
Unici...
I have her sister Bella plzz response! She is in great hands!!
