XG is the most genuine group of girls that were taught real hip hop and they are embracing and respecting the shit out of it. I saw them in Vegas and San Francisco and there were many 35+ year olds at the shows. That age group naturally gravitate towards them cause their music is what we grew up listening to. The crazy part is, Dancing is their forté. They're basically a dance crew that can sing and rap excellently. Their "worst" dancer would be a main dancer in another K-Pop/J-Pop group. 😂

They toured the US a few months ago and have a documentary out which showed how they were "formed" and what it took to get to this. FYI the "bald headed one" Cocona started in the group at 11 she's 19 now (Maya the other spitter you paused on before Cocona is the same age). They've been training to get in the group for a minute and their dedication to their craft shows. And yes inspired by mostly 90-00's hip hop and R&B.

English, dance, singing, etc. for a joint Japanese-Korean super project. Most of the girls are not native English speakers.
Unc, they were literally born with it. Then they trained together for 5 years straight and enhanced the natural talent they already possessed. I saw them in concert back in October. I’ve never seen anything like it before. They have a documentary on their channel as well.

As a 51 year old black man who grew up on hip hop & R&B since the 80s these girls are continuing the legacy of dope music that started over here. I found out about them earlier this year and have been a fan since. Sing rap dance perform and more. They toured the US a few months ago and have a documentary out which showed how they were "formed" and what it took to get to this. FYI the "bald headed one" Cocona started in the group at 11 she's 19 now (Maya the other spitter you paused on before Cocona is the same age). They've been training to get in the group for a minute and their dedication to their craft shows. And yes inspired by mostly 90-00's hip hop and R&B.

I am the same age as you and got hooked to them after this song because if you just listened to it without looking at the video you would think like you said they were some East Coast rappers, but nicer with it without using curse words or being raunchy with it. Some of this information may have already been shared because I initially did not go too deep into the comments, but the members of XG were chosen amongst a very vast number of other girls before they started training from 2017 - 2021 and then debuted with "Tippy Toes" in 2022! XG was definitely "created" by the GENIUS of JAKOPS ( Simon Junho Sakai )! That man had the exacty VISION of what XG was going to be he just needed to find the girls to make it happen and I will say he may 7 PERFECT choices !

So XG shouldn’t surprise us that they can rap,sing and dance what should surprise us is how polished they are but the documentary shows you that they did the work to get here. You aint trippin'. I'm an old school Hip Hop/R&B head and these girls have been knocking out of the park for me since I discovered their first Cipher track. Every member is a triple threat and it shows they are fans of the golden era of Hip Hop and R&B. They worked hard for where they are at and they've been putting this group together for some time.

Hi! I'm Japanese and I enjoy your reactions! They are a group of 7 Japanese girls, selected from 15,000 people at an audition in Japan. After that, they trained in Japan and Korea . English, dance, singing, etc. for a joint Japanese-Korean super project. Most of the girls are not native English speakers.

Cocona is definitely a beast!! She’s been rapping since she was a kid and was 16 when XG first debuted. Then she can sing amazingly too. Check out “Something Ain’t Right” and you’ll hear their vocals. Yes they can seriously dance. Look at their choreography videos, or even better the live performances. They’re perfect live, especially Chisa.

My favorite from the rappers is Maya but this is a group where i can truly say every member is my favorite on something. They are all beyond amazing cant go wrong picking any of them as a favorite. Btw, Cocona has been rapping like this her whole life just about. In a documentary they have about this group, im pretty sure she said since she was 3 yrs old. Yeah Jurin's confidence and swag comes from her... PROFESSIONAL Snowboarding Background... yeah before joining an idol group she was a paid snowboarder. By 22 Jurin already completing side quests that most people aim for as life long goals. She's going to be on stage at Coachella this year. Coco... even in the documentary where you hear from her when she is JUST 12-13 she talks like she was born to be a star and we're all getting the privilege of her becoming a star and yet she didn't sound like a punk kid she sounded just so sure that you were like...
