    I went through abnormal hairfall six months after delivery, even though taking recommended supps suggested by my doc. Upon carrying out some research, I put into practice a few changes that helped me reduce my hair shedding. Initially, I modified my eating habits to include more proteins and important vitamin sources by intaking foods such as nuts, fruits rich in vitamin C, egg sources, seafood, soybean, meat sources, poultry, and legumes. I furthermore started doing gentle yoga for 10 minutes daily to improve blood circulation, as advised by another mom. Also I started applying a massage to my hair with a mild, organic hair oil from Littlextrra's cocconion on two days weekly. I put on the oil on unwet hair and massage it for six minutes before letting it throughout the night and washing it off in the morning with Littlextra's shampoo, which controls hair shedding. I quit using tools for styling, colors, and other chemical for my hair and reduced my stress. These adjustments to my lifestyle has helped me control my hair fall substantially. I trust this information will assist other mothers who are facing the identical post-delivery hair fall challenge.

    Yes, I can relate to this! What made me upset is that I had relatives harrasing me about it, as if I had some kind of disease. I kept saying "its a side effect of pregnancy" and they kept telling me all kinds of other medical issues (thyroid, malnutrition, chemical exposure, aging, types of cancer, etc, etc)🙈
    The best gift you can have during the postpartum period is understanding people who lift you up through these changes. That's all I can tell you about this. It requires patience and acceptance to go through all these hormonal changes 🌸

    After delivery, I observed my hairfall but I remained calm. I took action to remedy it. I opted for a health-centered approach.
    I prioritized my nutrition, eating vitamin-packed foods, especially rich in Protein, Biotin.
    I worked out regularly and practiced yoga for stress control.
    I just stayed away from tight hairstyles and stopped using heated hair tools to minimise hair damage.
    I also started applying LittleExtrra Coconion hair oil and shampoo along with a wooden neem comb.
    The result was hairfall control and the recovery of my confidence.

    I'm hoping mine is a part of postpartum. Thing is my hair seemed to grow more after having my baby, and all of a sudden at 7 months, I'm losing so much with every brush and wash. I keep putting off washing my hair because it's just another one of those emotional triggers for me now

      Hey! I’m currently experiencing this as well. My baby is about to be 4 months and all of a sudden I’m experiencing so much hair loss to the point where I just have it up and I get scared when it’s hair washing day:((( there’s hair all over the floor and in our bed sheets I’m constantly grabbing the lint roller. It’s really scary :(((!! How are you doing with your hair loss now?

    • @kieramoore6501
      @kieramoore6501 9 месяцев назад

      @@cutiebaemuah Bless you! Yeah it was pretty unexpected on top of everything else going on with my body, so was a real trigger for me. I'm now 9-10 months post-partum and the hair loss is definitely slowing down, just lots of annoying baby hairs. I completely understand what you must be feeling right now, it feels like it will never end, with all the body changes, hormones etc and to top it off hair loss you feel life is against you, it will pass. I read up and spoke to my Dr about it, and she said that your hair will seem to be in this state for up to a year post-partum, but it'll gradually slow down as the months wear on, you'll gradually notice less hair loss, so please don't worry. I hope this reply finds you well and happy. Congratulations on your baby too 😘

    My baby is about to turn 2 this summer and I have such a prominent line in my hair from the new hair regrowth. I thought for sure by now it would look more normal but I guess I am just going to have to wait for the new growth to get long enough and chop the rest to match.
