I believe Tiff has been a longtime wielder of Prince racquets. Specifically the Tour line. So it’s good to see that Prince is continuing to make great racquets and she’s able to keep being an ambassador for Prince. I’d also 100% agree that we need to see more Prince racquets out there. I think a lot of players would be pleasantly surprised at how well some of these racquets would fit their game!
Tiffani did such a great job with all of the TW review videos from years ago way back in the day, and still does great work Chris too I enjoy going back and watching the old Vlogs! People should remember and appreciate how good they were. Everyone does a great job thanks guys always fun and informative! 🙏🎾👍❤️🏆
A year late to the party, but I just bought a Tour 95, played the 6.1 Pro Staff and Hyper Pro Staff decades ago but my old shoulder needs something soft now.
Love the podcasts, please keep them going! Would be very interested to try the Prince strings and thank you. Recently got 2 Tour 98s but haven’t found a string that really gels with them yet. Will try vortex triad based on Michelle’s feedback.
Bought the 95 and 98, was a massive fan of 2015 95 but was finding new 95 more cumbersome to move, the 98 was Goldilocks for me, great control with power, stable. Great spin with vortex.
@Steven howie, Glad you like the 98, me too! I pull it out almost once a day and am reminded exactly why I like it! Also, just playtested Prince Vortex Triad in it and love it in there! Michelle, TW
Free strings! count me in! I've been loving my ripstick 300 so far and am excited to demo this new tour out at some point guess i'm a sucker for the cosmetics. that power outage has me waiting very patiently on the textreme tour still hah! thanks for the talk guys! helps a 3.5 player like me understand everything a bit better.
I’d definitely go for the 290 or the 98. The 100 is a bit hefty and the foam filling (I believe) and it feels and sounds not as whippy. I’m loving my ripstick. If I could get just a tad more control I may stick with it full time. Right now I’m hitting the TT310 and ATS 98! 98 is a good mix of control and power. Cheers bud!
@@Tennissensitive depends on your game. It has a wide open string pattern so if you’re a flat baller, yeah maybe. If you like a Pure Drive or something like that the Ripstick is more comfy with similar performance for sure.
Ha!!! This has to show how big of a fan of TW I am. I realized that Chris is wearing the same sweater from the Head youtek Os video from 10 years ago!!!! Hahaha love it!!!
Great chat, I'm a Prince user but toying with an upgrade from my Tour 100( x2 ) and Tour Team 100. The 98 sounds something to consider. Inise a higher tension Poly for spin and control.
I'm a Prince guy since the early 80's. Still have a few of each of the POG 110, 90, Boron, Woodie, CTS Synergy DB26, and Tour Diablo Mid. I will demo the 98 and 95. Curious of the swingweight and plowthrough of the 95. Also, I would like to try the Prince strings. Thank you!
Great podcast! Keep it up! Question for all of you guys and maybe a very relaxed subject for another podcast: Don't you think that racket paint jobs nowadays are either too cumbersome or too "on your face"? What's your favorite racket paint job / color of all time?
Love your racquet reviews! Also digging the chat podcasts like this. I have a question, perhaps for Tiffany; I have a 2019 Textreme Tour 100P 18x20. Loving that racquet! It came strung with a gut/alu hybrid which has been nice. I don’t know what tension. Anyhow, looking for advice for the next re-string. Im intrigued by the Prince Triad. Would a spin friendly string such as that work to balance out the flat hitting 18x20? Does stringing up a control racquet with spin string help or does it counteract the strengths of the racquet and water down the performance? Im a recent convert to the semi western grip (from Eastern). I have a fairly long swing, maybe medium speed. I’d say probably considers a flat hitter (trying to bring more spin to my game with the new SW grip). Have always used 16g, never broke a string, so I’m also considering going 17g for better feel and bite on the ball with the 18x20.
I'd like to try the 100P, I have the stock Textreme Tour, and I absolutely love it at the baseline but missing a bit of control and stability on volleys and ohbh slice shots.
Loved playing with the TT100p 15’ for a couple years. Did not like the 19’ as much and then switched to the 19’ TT310 for more spin and higher launch angle. @Tiffany any chance the new 100p is more spin friendly or just about the same as the 15’? Pulled the trigger on the new ATS 100 and 98. Groundies with the 100 felt great but could not gel with the serve. I think the weight and foam filling just made it feel (and sound) not as whippy at the TT310. Liking the 98 but needing to find the right string/tension. My pops gave me a ripstick 300 for Father’s Day and I’ve been pretty pleased. I strung it with Ytex Hexagon x pearl red 16L (would love to hear your thoughts on that string) and it reigns in some of that free power to give it more control. Wishing I had gone with the 290 over the 310 so I could customize it Would love to try some Prince co-polys!!! Cheers and keep up the great work guys!!!
@Bradford Stoll, I am checking in with Tiff to give you a better answer, but initially I am fairly sure she would say it has about the same access to spin. And as for strings, yes, please send me an email to podcast@tennis-warehouse.com with your shipping address please! Thanks! Michelle, TW
Im looking for a more forgiving something like a 16x19 prince phantom 93p like frame, is the ATS 95 close to what Im looking for? tried the phantom 14x18 but it was too open
The feel is a bit different between the two, as I definitely noticed the thicker 22mm beam with this ATS Tour 95. That gives a bit easier power, or more pop as we sometimes say, but not quite as much of a solid beam feel, and the 93P gives a bit more feel for the ball on contact. Overall, the ATS Tour 95 is a good option, and feels more forgiving to the Phantom 93P, but there is definitely a difference in feel for those with a seasoned palette. Troy, TW
Looks like the string pattern on the ATS Tour 95 is similar to the Pro Staff where the outer strings are spaced out further towards the edge of the frame. Is the feel similar to the Pro Staff?
The amount of spin and string spacing felt and looked similar to the older versions of the Pro Staff 97, prior to the v13 string mapping. The Pro Staff 97 v13 seems a bit tighter near the center compared to the ATS Tour 95. Troy, TW
I love these podcasts! I recently switched to Prince! I'm still trying to figure the best string for my Tour 100. I'm interested in some free strings if available.

Likely the Prince ATS Textreme Tour 100, which comes in a 290 but has a relatively similar swingweight. Or if you like a bit heavier feel, then there is the 310 gram version. If you wanted a slight boost in power compared to the Speed MP, then the Prince Twistpower X100 Tour would supply that. Troy, TW
The 95 is the best of the lot. And this new 95 is better than the last. More comfy. Slightly more forgiving. But I wouldn’t switch unless your old ones are worn out. The difference isn’t that big and the new cosmetic is trash. Just my opinion.

IT IS a very muted Racket. In my opinion. I Sold IT. I Love the synergy and twistpower.
The 98 feels better, but the 100 with its weight and foam filling make it feel and sound slow. Definitely more muted than the previous TT310.
