The way they describe cranking the engine would never get spark. That is output side of solenoid. The ignition power comes off the side the battery is on. So by powering starter output ignition is not getting power

Who drops off a machine in that condition??? Most people would find all the parts they KNOW IT WILL NEED to run on their budget because ANYBODY on the business end of it will probably buy a used, aftermarket, or new then mark it up 100%. Oh yea, don’t forget if they do buy parts use any other little part the “mechanic” will probably price out every individual extra part on the inside of tank and the outside meaning the fuel cap & fuel petcoc. Then on the inside the filter and if it’s EFI the fuel pump.. I hope this was all scripted but I have a feeling it MAYBE REAL….🤔🤔….. 2 b honest I’ve got to let this one go because it’s sad and I would think this “mechanic”would of hit the hooks rite away, and stop wasting time with the bull crap talk, and tell them to buy their own parts that they know it will need and then drop it off so they would only have A hourly shop rate on the invoice. I don’t think anyone should take machine to SOMBODY to work on with so many missing parts.🤯😱😳 It’s totally clear those two dudes are hard working and probably send money to family in Mexico. You dont know how much your going charge him to clean the carb, check the valves, timing chain, and install new top end gaskets... like come on tighten up, thats all basics and takes no time. Shoupd of had a price answer for them.
All y’all do when you bring vee bikes like this is get charged a diagnostic fee and for him to tell you it’s going to need a new wiring harness.
