      Which is exactly why no one has aircraft like this other than governments and Russian oligarchs who don’t GAF about public perception. This is a charter aircraft.

    What are you talking about? They removed the side sticks. Boeing never ever had side. sticks to implement. Boeing has strictly been a yolk. Cockpit control since day one lol.

    If, at any point, you’re thinking: “Nice!” Remember, it’s $300 MILLION DOLLARS!!

      Pfft you speak like you are one of those normies. 300 million is nothing compared to the alternative of sharing a jet with the peasants.

    “The is the Boeing BBJ…” The Boeing Boeing Business Jet. It’s gonna take a lot of trips to the automatic teller machine machine to purchase that.

    Ok, lets chat about this one. The airplane requires 8,500 foot runway to takeoff, but can land on 4,500 ft runway? So, if, hypothetically, the plane landed on said 4,500 ft runway, it would never leave. Just some food for thought goose.

    • @victoradedamola4797
      @victoradedamola4797 10 месяцев назад

      Meaning you cannot land at just any kind of airport.

    • @AviationBase
      @AviationBase  10 месяцев назад +2

      That's the same with pretty much any jet, the takeoff and landing distances mentioned in the video are not a mistake. For example the G650 has a takeoff distance of about 6,000 feet but the landing distance is about 3,000 feet

    • @Salutimondo
      @Salutimondo 10 месяцев назад +2

      So in an extreme emergency landing situation the jet can land in a greater number of airports. They will not be caring too much about whether it can take off again if they were forced to land to save lives. Goosey goosey gander.

    • @MysteeriusFrend
      @MysteeriusFrend 10 месяцев назад +2

      It's about take off weight and landing weight. More energy is needed to get off the ground versus coming to a stop. Also, lots of jets might have to dump fuel before making an emergency landing, because they have to be at or under a certain weight to land. Otherwise, they run the risk of going off the end of the runway, or damaging landing gear. Velocity can be a b***h.

      @@Salutimondo umm, during your preflight you discuss all your diversion airport options along your flight path is 100% based on runway lengths both landing and takeoff. it's just silly how this video worded everything.

    $300 million.....laughable. The cost to acquire new is around $250 million, but there is no aftermarket. That explains why the Mexican presidential aircraft sold as a head-of-state aircraft for less than $100 million.

    The price tag of this aircraft is a little misleading. For example, the material cost of this machine is probably thirty million, or less.
    In the absence of a free market, the “price” can be anything the government wants.
    If this plane were listed at nine hundred million dollars, the customers wouldn’t see any difference in ticket prices because the government controls all prices by subsidizing certain goods and services.
    If the government didn’t subsidize the aircraft unions and airlines with payroll taxes, then these planes wouldn’t be cost effective to build and fly.
    They wouldn’t exist.
