🔴Kim Sun-Yung is Returning in Season 6! 👉ruclips.net/video/dFN3WshvZLg/видео.html
I’ve been saying it for years now but despite the fact the show is called Cobra Kai it is absolutely the legacy of Mr. Miyagi.
For sure.
Movie black magic can work.
Calling the show Miyagi-do wouldn’t have worked. Cobra Kai is a badass name.
I love the way Daniel says "Mike FFFFkin Barnes". You can feel that emotion 🎉
I hope Season 6 isn’t too reliant on the lore and world building. They still have to conclude everyone’s story.
They will.
Yeah man there saying there's gonna be 15 episodes it should be insane can't wait?
Writers are pretty good on this show I'm sure they'll cover all the bases
@@alanchamberlain9902 To each their own
I want to see a showdown fight between Kreese and Silver.
Mr. Miyagi has to remain undefeated. At least since he left Okinawa in 1943
True, although on a side note I think the 1925 birthdate for miyagi is an inaccuracy in the show. Miyagi would’ve had to go to America get married, had a kid, go in the military, train to go to war and be a war hero, lose his wife all in a span of less that 2 years. Seems like a stretch. Miyagi talked about remembering something from 1927 in KK2. And people don’t have a memory at age 1 or 2. So a better date for miyagi’s birth would be like 1920.
@@roundtable3501 could be. I know the Karate Kid movies have another error with their time line.
It has to do with Daniel's age. Daniel has his birthday in Karate kid 1. I've always thought he turns 17.
His birthday is just before the All valley.
So the next all valley would have had to have taken place before his 18th birthday.
So that would mean not even a full year would have passed between Daniel's 16th birthday and the end of Karate kid 3.
He would have been 16 years old when he began his senior year of high school.
Some people think he has his 16th birthday in Karate kid 1. Which is even more problematic. Who is 15 years old when they start 12th grade? He would have been 16 when he is supposed to start college.
It is kind of a glaring mistake. But I don't think it really takes away from the movies at all. It's just kind of funny
@@dantemagalhaes9462
Good fine! I was under the impression that he turned 16 because he just got his drivers license in KK1 and miyagi gave him a car for his birthday, then he would’ve been 17 in KK3. Back in the 80s the cutoff for schools was January, not august. I know someone who was born in October of 1968, and graduated in 1986. So he would’ve been 16 when he started his senior year in high school. Daniel could’ve been the same.
I wish it could go on forever ❤
i dont.....
Some day Miguel will be the cobra kai sensei
I love how you respect Korean and Japanese martial arts by using the correct terminology like dojang instead of dojo when talking about a specific style
Thank you. I do my best.
If Miyagi himself returned, they'd have to get a different actor since they've already done lots of flashbacks.
It's pretty obvious, Morita's not here in this world anymore, It's not gonna be the same though, unless they have a necromancer that is...
Opening scene is Daniel digging up Miyagi and carrying him to a lazurus pit. Accompanied by Ra's Al Guhl.
Mr miyagi is the goat the goat
The goat of the goats.
Great video. I mostly agree with it all. I expect we will have some sort of Miyagi flashback / origin scenes in S6.
Thank you dude. Glad you enjoyed it!
I SWEAR to god! Right before I saw the clip you your self included in this video, with Daniel saying; “Yeah, but you knew Karate?”, and Miyagi goes, “Someone always knows more”, I would’ve made you remember that clip my self 😂 That was all going through my mind during this video, but then you were leading up to it all along 🙏
GREAT video, man! Great thoughts 💪
Same. Same. Glad you liked it!
No one can play Mr Miyagi. Hes iconic dont disrespect him
I think Sato faced Master Kim with the defensive minded Miyagi Do & lost. Feeling humiliated, he decided to "fight fire with fire" & only focused on the aggressive side of Miyagi Do. This just adds to Sato's hatred for Miyagi (unless they reconciled). Miyagi probably found out about Sato losing & was surprised thinking, "There's always someone who knows more."
Sato had the largest Karate school in Okinawa. It is very likely he at least knew who Kim Sun Yung through the competition scene of the time.
I think if they fought, miyagi won, because they’re both living. Based on Kim’s philosophy, if he fought someone with the skill of miyagi, he’d want to kill him. But miyagi would show mercy and let Kim live.
This video, somehow, gives me goosebumps. We see that Johnny and Daniel (maybe obliviously) have carried these legacies on, without realizing it is rooted in something way more profound, but it reveals that they may be destined to heal the divide by this growing friendship and bromance that these two have developed in such a satisfying way ❤❤ Thank you for the video!
You're welcome! Glad you liked it!
I goona go out on a limb and say that Mr. Han is somehow related to the woman that Mr. Miyagi's fisherman ancestor married when he was in China.
Kim Da Eun addressed Chozen in a contemptuous way, so it is likely that their paths (or their mentors’) have crossed before
There is a lot of animosity between Japan and Korea.
@@watchparty1true but this seems more personal
As former lovers. 😂😂
This would DEFINITELY be interesting!
I can never get enough of this show and the entire "The Karate Kid series!" It's just so bloody amazing!! 👍💯so so cant wait for S06!
I wonder if they will have a Miyagi deathbed scene or at least an original flashback conversation with Daniel. Some sort of emotional flashback. With de-aging and AI it could be amazing.
the show did well and its time to wrap it up. Nothing worse than trying to extend something longer than it needs to be. They did well telling the story and its expansion. Cobra Kai never dies!!!!
Miyagi`s humility kept him grounded over the years and hence, invincible. it`s called experience culminating in wisdom.
I would love to see a series of young Johnny growing up and winning the all valley.
Like one of scientists who can use Mr. Miyagi’s body bones in the pod machine or creating him as an android or robot called Sir Miyagi.
And the scientists could be related to Terry Silver, Hector Salazar, or Tommy
They were filming on Barcelona (im here at moment) so that is one of the known locations that David mentioned over there.
Can't wait for Cobra Kai Season 6!!!
0:04 I’m deaf now😭😭😭
Thank you for your great videos, watchparty!
I have a question about a filmscene from Karate kid you show in this video. Why would Daniel Larusso wear a San Diego chargers jersey? If he is a football fan, he would be a Jets or Giants fan since he is from the east coast. And he misses home so he is supposed to wear his hometeam jersey. If he is trying to fit in with the locals he would be wearing an LA rams jersey. I don’t really get it, do you have any information about this topic?
WATCHPARTY: This was a great video. It's going to be a very historical season that's for sure. Not in this Q&A but in another with Hayden, I asked if we would be learning more about the history of Miyagi Do & he said "we would be learning about everyone's past, present & future" so us learning about how Miyagi Do Karate was really created by looking through Shimpo Sensei's past really brings that to light. I don't know about Kim & Miyagi meeting because didn't Chozen say to Daniel that Master Kim didn't become known & the War between South Korea & Okinawa didn't happen until After Miyagi left, but that doesn't mean that Miyagi might not have witnessed Kim's Tang Su Do style somehow? Although he did say that we would be leaning about EVERYONE'S past so maybe there's something about Miyagi that we don't know. There's a very real chance that we will find out that Miyagi Do & Tang Su Do (Cobra Kai) have been at war with each other for years, even before Miyagi & Daniel got involved or even knew about.
My assumption is if they met it would be in the 1950s. I probably should've clarified that. Glad you enjoyed it.
@@watchparty1 I always enjoy your video's. 😇👍. Just keep doing what you're doing & being honest and always enjoy your video's.
I think that Jackie Chan play Mr. Miyagi in the movie it's going down.
Kim sung young and myagi would be the most epic battle ever!!!and while it would be sad if he lost it would set up the explanation for that line when he said there's always someone who knows more which is true to this day.i think if he is still alive they would all have to team up to fight him together because if he beat myagi he would be a very big threat to everyone and would probably need to be tag team fight by all of them to win probably.what an epic finale that would be wow! 🤯😳😳😳🔥🔥🔥😃❤️
Shrimpo sensei flashback would be just wow
Miyagi spin off would be awesome 👌
We need a miyagi love child, who is as good as he was, and he goes through all the baddies.
I love the movies and this series
A part of me hopes that towards the end of the season, the writers will have Johnny, Daniel, and maybe even Chozen standing in front of his grave to pay their respects. IMO, I feel like Johnny hasn’t really had a deep/meaningful conversation about Mr. Miyagi or thanked him for saving him from getting pummeled by Kreese.
I think that'll happen.
@@watchparty1 or heck, I also wouldn’t mind Daniel having a scene with the other og Cobra Kai members who were Johnnys friends.
We'll see Miyagi's tie in to China & Kung Fu in the end of this season, like with the real life Miyagi. I say we see Jackie Chan in the end. Since Tang Soo Do only dates to to the 1940s, you are only partially correct on the Chinese story by Kanan not sinking with actual history. The martial arts masters who started Tang Soo Do had backgrounds in Kung Fu. "Tang" was the word for Chinese referring to the Tang dynasty. Miyagi mentioned this in Karate kid 1. "Firsr called Tang Te or Chinese hand. Later charged to kara Te or empty hand".
No, you won't see Jackie Chan in it.
That would be awesome if we could get a flashback of master kim vs miyagi
by necromancy that's how Mr. Miyagi returns
He's 100 per cent coming back as a ghost an he says his first words Daniel son...if I'm right pay me 10000 pounds hahah
I honestly can’t believe how good this show is! When I first heard about it,I was thinking it was going to be cheesy and poorly made but how wrong I was! I love how they brought back every single character from the movies and I think the new actors are great also.
Definitely. You're not alone. I've dedicated this channel to it for several years. Stick around and watch some great theories and analysis. You'll enjoy it.
Seems like the franchise has lots material and there’s more from Ralph Macchio that could be use. Hope there’s more after season 6!
I think it would be cool and full circle if Darryl Vidal played Miyagi..
I waiting season 6 hope they come New Zealand soon in Netflix.. I watch all episodes so far
This is a great theory, however i must emphasize that Chozen made it perfectly clear that Kim Sun Young made himself known in the Korean War, where as Mr Miyagi was a veteran of World War Two. Ergo Miyagi and Kim Sun Young were of a different age groups and they were not contemporaries.
I highly doubt that it will happen, but a miyagi origin series would be awesome..
I wish theyd do a season 7 8 😅
Watch Party can play Young Miyagi
He did look like a tv.
You watch too much TV, Daniel-san! - Mr Miyagi, while Daniel was looking at him
I think Mr. Miyagi will be resurrected by a miracle.
Jacky Chan will show in the end.
Don't know how Mr Miyagi can return he passed away in 2005, maybe he is the first human being that came back to life or maybe a zombie
It helps to watch the video. You'll enjoy it.
Well from what i heard tjere are spinoffs coming, i would love a period martial arts show anout the origin of Miyagi karate, there is so much they could do with that. Its been a while so i dont recall if Mr Miyagi said about how long ago that hapoened, just that it was several centuries. If anyone knows please tell me if it was mentioned.
Well and in complete context when both wars were happening in Vietnam and people of Okinawa, Japan we are told that sato was trained from Mr. Miyagi’s father but then when things got personal I mean from Sato and him wanting to kill Miyagi to fight well we all know he would rather not fight but he will if necessary, but otherwise the lore says that somehow Sato found out the way of fist and trained his students the same way like how Kreese did back in America so I believe that there’s a possibility that Sato learned both styles of karate from Kreese’s way of fist and also the style of Miyagi’s fathers teachings but still the lore is unclear in other ways yes I do agree and but I also believe that the way fist could have been used from Kim Sung Young, so there’s a lot to consider trying to find out more otherwise it’s dead end, after that because when John and Silver were based out of Vietnam but before their time in War it just so happened that Miyagi had enlisted in the army back in the 1940’s when World War 2 was happening, so given the context that there is a possibility that Kim Sung Young maybe a master but it was confirmed in Cobra Kai Show, so otherwise it’s all true but we do know that Terry Silver is master manipulator when it comes to things he can get away with when he wants to no consequences because, even tho he made that deal w/ Barnes in the 3rd movie it shows you that how character is based off strictly revenge, but we also know that even though he’s backstabbing and clever he knows his own says around needed karate , when found other sources to make money after the events of 3rd film and John Kreese just fell into a slump again until in Cobra Kai Johnny Lawrence takes him back into the dojo but finds out that was a big mistake.
But back in The Karate Kid Pt. 2 it shows you what he showed to Chozen the Kim Sung Young Ways of the fist, and an all that, which makes sense. Because, Sato opened up a dojo the style that Chozen is using is the same style karate that’s used in the cobra Kai dojo.
would be great to have more Kobra Kai. Season 5 kind of let a bad opinion of emptyness. with the introduced characters, they left it open in Awesome way. If no more seasons are done, Kobra Kai will end EMPTY!
Bring it back and publish Season 6 if you reading this group.
Only in a flashback, he’s not returning any other way
Only mighel could master the dark migiaki do technics he is the first cobra kai champion .
Kim Song Young Sounds a little To Chuck Norris Story Air Force Brought Tang Soo Do
I hope they don’t bring him back as an A.I.
Just leave Mr. Miyagi alone in the afterlife.
They won't do that.
@@watchparty1Good.
I think Jackie Chans Mr Han will be shown to be a cousin of Mr Miyagi through the drunken fisherman story in the new movie they are working on. Just my theory.
Cobra Kai is going to have more of new students in cobra Kai in the next season 6-7
There won’t be a season 7 season 6 is the last
How Cobra Kai students keep quitting or losing lol
Oh yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Let me just bringMr. Miyagi back to life in real life and in the show.
Watch the video.
Remember jackie chan was approached to be in cobra kai
Not Cobra Kai the tv show. He was never part of it.
Personally hate Jackie being in any if the karate kid whether cobra Kai or Karate Kid movies. Esp little slapper willy or his punk kid . They don't belong
@@watchparty1 Yea pretty sure they said from the start that anything Pat M. was involved with was fair game, even TNKK, but not the JC one.
It was a different location at a different time, it's the 'same' story but it all boils down to the first story ever told.
Joseph Campbell's the Power of Myth talked about "The Hero's Journey", characters like Odysseus, Luke, Aragorn and Dirty Harry it's all the same, start at point A face and overcome problem BCD, gather allies EFG, fight off enemies HIJ THEN Triumph, Accolades and the Wookie gets a medal.
...........but seriously... the flyswatter... I was ROLLING!!!!!
Id like to see a younger Mr.Miyagi & Sato duo before their relationship went sour. And theres still fact Miyagi, got more moves as he knew those monks from TNKK. Love to see a fight between Master Kim vs. Julie Pierce😊 Heck Jackie Chan For younger Mr.Miyagi. Some ideas would seem to go great with New KK movie starring Ralph Macchio & Jackie Chan.
Highly decorated and probably advancing in rank, I could see Miyagi staying with the troops left behind to help with putting the Marshall Plan into effect. And then in 1946, he was stationed in Korea when country started going down the pro Communist vs anti Communist route and decided to expand on his karate knowledge. However, Miyagi did not like the teaching or technique but incorporated some of the lessons into his karate--which came in useful when he had to do hand-to-hand combat with some Commies. He went back statesidein 1951, served a few more years to get his 20, then retired. A piece of land he had bought in LA when passing thru on leave, turned out to have oil underneath. And despite the oil drying up 20 years later, he still had his home and cars and tiny paycheck from being a maintenance man. And the rest is history.
His military service is essentially in canon based in his badges and awards on his uniform. There could be other ways it works in though.
I just want to know the release date for season 6. More so than the new kids story lines, every time they had a flashback to Miyagi, it got me misty eyed. As a kid growing up with the OG movies I felt like he was my mentor as well. Anything that focuses on Miyagi will be welcome but they better not do anything that will ruin the existing impact that Miyagi had.
The date will come soon enough.
I hope Barnes and Kenny’s brotha joins
A put Jackie Chan in the movie to play the old man with Danyusun.
Karate Kid ORIGINS
Pretty much
Funny now to think that all Mr. Miyagi had to do in Part Three was call Sato and ask if he was familiar with an instructor called Kim Sun-Yung and all of that could've been avoided.
True but it depends on when they met Kim Sun-Yung.
@@watchparty1 There may be a flashback of Sato and Master Kim in S6 but I’m counting on one of Sato scolding little Chozen for hanging out with little Kumiko too.
Mr Miyagi: "Phone call too expensive."
Laughing Martin Kove Parnk Muneearh Jamal 0:55
Did anyone really go to war to become a hero?
I like the theories but here’s my only issue: Silver tells Miyagi and Daniel in Karate Kid 3 that his master was Kim Sun-Yung. If Miyagi did run into and fight Master Kim in the past, then he should have been able to know from the start that Silver was up to no good. Miyagi would warned Daniel about Master Kim’s teachings.
I think most would say Miyagi did know Silver was up to know good. The thing is Miyagi is a very personal man and never revealed much to Daniel. He also wasn't the sort of person to grab Daniel by the collar and drag him away from Silver like a mother who's toddler is misbehaving.
@@watchparty1 Fair points. If they go this route with Miyagi and Kim, I imagine the writers would at least mention why Miyagi kept it quiet (much like how he did for the things Chozen taught Daniel in season 3)
Not, Yuki it is Yukie with a hard "A" sound on the letter E. some words from lingual dialects from other countries can be similar to how English words sound, but some words spoken by those who are of Asian countries don't use the literal sounds from our own alphabet; most countries around the world don't use letters the same way that English speakers do; some times the words are similar but other times there are other words that we have never learned in a second language yet. And the only Miyagi Do technique that Miyagi has not taught Daniel was: The Pressure Point counter strike; in which was only taught by a reformed 40 something year old Chozen. That first hit on Miyagi was accidental, because that hit was aimed and meant for Daniel.
Wouldn't Mr. Miyagi have learned Kim Sun-Yung's name at the time of his defeat and then remembered it during Terry's speech in The Karate Kid 3?
Possible. The movie is unclear enough they can work with it.
You got to bring back Mike Barnes
Got a video on it 👉ruclips.net/video/-AZCKbigJH0/видео.html
Like to know who taught Barnes
Kim Sung Yung modern day alive and able to fight is un realistic. He’d be as old if not older then Sato and Myagi.
Maybe a flashback.
😮Tang soon do? Enter Chuck Norris? 😮😮😮😮
Miyagi likes Chameleon squad zatarra saurians so awesome. And then Kim sun Yung Korean she almost got kicked in the nuts funny. Kicking beat that crap outta me! 😅
You forgot about the world championships. Silver did qualify so they will be trained by the girl who has to recruit new people to the dojo. Im probably only one who hated the end of last season. They made it seem like the end but cobra kai did tie miyagi do.
yeas but chosen said in season 5 miyagi left okinawa befre the koren war
Fake account so no it won’t happen
Kabuto reanimates Mr. Miyagi and starts the fourth shinobi war
I hate it that Daniel is still so fearful. His master was not fearful, he took on both maters n karate kid 2 . Daniel also fought in real life fighting n won . Why does he still lack do much confidence, I don’t get it .
Can you say Jackie Chan is coming already. Nvm Jaden Smith lol
I disagree with Kim Sung Yung defeating Myagi.
Although it would be a fight if Kim won he would show no mercy and kill Myagi which would negate the whole series.
However, Myagi winning would make more sense as both men lived.
So while not winning unscathed, Myagi should be the victor but it should be very close.
Es la me ha gusta la me ha pasará en la sie en Corba kai 😮😮😮😮❤😮😂😮❤😮❤😮❤😮❤😮
Or something eles what if Daniel return back to new jersey he say he well return to he's old friends and in the Next karate kid we see Miyagi travel to boston to find Julie Pierce but new jersey is not that far away boston Mr Miyagi find the Y that place Daniel have training before the YMCA and here find Mr Miyagi find the Y Master Jackie Chan
how is kreese going to run cobra kai when hes a fugitive on the lam
Sensei Kim will run it.
Yeah and I heard pat really didn't know karate just fake it well.
I only just found out about this show and I don’t know what to make of it. It seems if any of the actors had had real successful careers beyond the original movies they wouldn’t have been able to bring back the entire cast last this. The films were so morally simplistic and shallow that it was a kids movie. So I assume this new show is for kids?
It's on Netflix. Start it up with season 1 tonight. Watch a couple episodes (short, easy to binge). Report back what you think.
What if and hear me out moyagi doesn't like to be aggressive as he killed Kim whatever
miyagi should remain undefeated unless they get brock lesnar in the show. 😂
I dont think they used the Buddhist characters from karate kid 4... they must have backstory to Miagi
That's true but I think they are the least likely to show up again.
Jackie Chin?
Tang Soo Do is partially based on Chinese techniques, but it's forms mostly resemble Shotokan forms. Shotokan originally came from Okinawa. Japan occupied both China and Korea for awhile. When Shotokan was brought to mainland Japan, it lost a lot of techniques. Of course, Mr Miyagi's style was based on another Okinawan style. How they link Miyagi Do and Cobra Kai in Season 6 will be interesting.
Which, Mr. Miyagi's style is based on Goju Ryu Karate that also partially based on Southern Chinese Martial Arts.
The real one was chozun miyagi the style I learned in the 80s. Called shori shobukan go- ju Ryu. The real miyagi looked a lot like Sato
Wait until you have more facts to back up your dozens of what ifs...
Welcome to the party Jeremy. Sit tight. You're going to be amazed.
Like what happened with Kreese?
Covered here: ruclips.net/video/YN-D9uxwsEY/видео.html
I hope they go into Miyagi's time in WWII with the 442nd. How he lost his son and wife. How he got the Congressional Medal of Honor. Etc
There's a lot there.
