Ha. Just got my first 5 or so flights on beginner collective pitch helis and I was expecting your maiden to do some figure 8s or so (never seen you fly before) and was blown away. Awesome skills, awesome sound
hello helidirect RC ,steam This company is a just beginning to grow innovative company, in fact, is the previous Tarrot, but from last year onwards to re-independence to start their own design and manufacture of helicopters, but due to the beginning of the establishment of the cost is limited and not as famous as other helicopter brands. But in mainland China steam's popularity is very high and the owner is a very innovative designer, this time the AK700 is to add a lot of his own thinking and innovation, I believe you can feel from the time of installation and flight. Finally, if you have any questions about steam, I can help, I visited steam in July last year.
Thanks Sean for the nice build and review. I’m with you regarding the lackluster Chinese manuals. They don’t put a lot of emphasis or time into them. I do a lot of plastic model building as well as R/C cars and trucks. Historically throughout the industry, Tamiya has bar none the best instruction manuals out there dating back to at least the mid 1970s. They’re clean, crisp and easily readable with very little questions popping up. By far the worst hobby manual that I’ve ever came across was for my Thunder Tiger Raptor 90SE back in 2004.
@@HelidirectRC that's awesome. Didn't know this existed. I've ruined a few feathering shafts trying to remove a loctite'd screw from one end. What other cool heli tools exist? I'm looking for something to adjust turnbuckles and not using plain pliers as they seem to scuff up the linkages. Also if someone had a good pair of ball link pliers that don't scuff up the swashplate when removing from the swash that would be cool.

Great video Sean!!
Hoping QC is good over the next few batch runs. I may order one in near future depending on community feedback. Either this or a Goosky RS7.
Super nice and solid looking build! It sounds so dang quiet!
Sean, I think you’re honest review and build comments are gonna sell quite a few of these! Nice work!
Thank you!! It’s a great kit!
Thanks Sean, AK700 is super, your explanation is so good. I order it immediately! Thanks so much for the build video.
Awesome!
You rock Sean. Awesome review on the AK700. Thank you for informing the public about this new badass heli in the market.
Btw . Awesome flying man!
Thank you brother!

Totally agree!
My first real rc helicopter build was a mid 90’s thunder tiger raptor 90 and I struggled every step of the way!
@@scottbuck9348 Roger that! I had a 30 V2 60 V2 and then my 90 SE been there done that. I was running an OS 37 and 70 and a YS 91.
Hi Sean, which motor and servos have you installed? Thank you
Egodrift 4530 550kv and First servos!
@@HelidirectRC thank you very much Sean. Very cool video
2:25 What kind of tool is that? Are they available for smaller heli's down to the 200 size on up?
