    Try it! This is an absolute keeper of a recipe! I cooked it to tofu haters, and they ended up being tofu lovers! That's how good this is!

    I used flour instead of starch, crushed the garlic, grated the ginger, used 1 TBS brown sugar instead of maple syrup and used only 2 TBS of oil. It was very quick and easy to make and also tasty. Thanks for sharing!

    General tsos was Mr's favorite food before going vegan. And this recipe was so deliciously close to his old dish, that we made it again for breakfast today!!!!!!!!

    • @elizabethshaw734
      @elizabethshaw734 7 лет назад +2

      T Gles it really doesn't matter I used nasoya for years and I still like it. I make my own often as well it's so easy to do and I also love to make my own for breakfast as it is lovely and warm when first finished the same with fresh tofu. Some brands vacuum sealed without water so you can use right away.

    Since you call yourself "Buddhist chef", I would like to remind you friendly that Buddhist people don't eat garlic.
    The five vegetables garlic, Allium chinense, asafoetida, shallot and mountain leek, are abstained from by some Buddhists because they excite the senses. Eaten raw they are claimed to cause distemper, and cooked are claimed to be aphrodisiacs. In each case this disturbs a peaceful mind.
