I have seen thousands videos from different makers, the rock mode or quadra drive system in those jeeps are seriously good. They took the traction to another level.
That's really impressive and I'm not a jeep person. You can hear all four tires are locked when he turns on pavement. It's not using auto breaking in rock mode so it must have inter electronic locking diffs. Of course for $70k for a Jeep I'd expect nothing less.
Off-road … the one thing that Jeep can actually get right. However, seeing those painted-on tires flexing the sidewall all the way down to the rim… you’d have a flat tire within seconds if you tried to do any actual off-roading with this brick.
Too bad for the crazy Jeep pricing nowadays. Jeep abandoned their fan base with the Grand Cherokee and derivatives in its pursuit of Land Rover customers.
I've never seen a vehicle look so sexy going off road I mean it's like that wasn't even nothing for the for the Wagoner I mean Grand Wagoneer it didn't even break a sweat
You know it was always so amazing watching the videos with the Jeep you always can see the difference between a real four wheel drive system and that fake crap that's out there notice how the big old Wagoner didn't even slip tires once he was putting into rock mode just climb right on over real slow no throttle hardly need it that's called real 4x4 system not that fake stuff they put in those crossovers
That’s really impressive, made it look super easy.
It was!
Good that Jeep came with a discovery 4 alternative. V8 + truck frame and even the needed comfort and offroad capability.
That thing is a beast. Wold love to see that test with snow ❄️.
For sure, but we only had a quick chance to try it for a few days :( We have a cool R5 test with snow coming soon, though....
Best traction control system on the market?
That rock mode is hard to beat when it comes to serious stuff!
Land Rover is pretty good too.

Fantastic result.
I think so too!

You can tell it's basically a Ram. I assume the 4WD system is the same as in the Limited and Limited Longhorn, impressive!
This is why it’s still a jeep!
It will remain a jeep :P
Looks like having real difflocks, amazing!
Why would anyone need locking diffs with these new systems?
Full locked on all 3 differentials?
This is only one in the middle lsd at rear
Looks like a house on wheel lol
Impressive, seems on par with Discovery 5
Maybe even better ;)
I bet the reliability of this thing will be on par with Disco as well.
@@robertduklus6555 yeah, well, if you can afford these cars as toys you wouldn't care about reliability.
@@JohnDoe-ef4fm sure, you drop over 100 k to have it at the repair shop and enjoy it right?
jeep breezes through as usual.
imagine it with 16" rims and grippers 😍
Grip zee dee
The air suspension barely articulates. I guess it’s pumped way up. The AWD system doesn’t seem to mind but more flex would be helpful
Yess maximum setting
Now if Mazda could put that into a CX50 I might buy one
Amazing vehicle but they are so expensive
Indeed and it’s no collection vehicle :(
Can expect that from $100k suv👍

Exactly, as good as it is offroad, the 22" wheels are absolutely nothing for that.

Be happy for Jeep still keeping wranglers alive with SFAs. Toyotas have all move to IFS.
tst... noice!
Almost as good as a Subaru.
almost.... or.... better? :)
