I've had one for a couple of months now. It's great for running jumps while cave diving solo or if your buddy is terrible at lighting stuff up. It's also great for deco lighting so I can use my wetnotes. You can point it at the ceiling and it reflects nicely off of white limestone. For those not using a helmet I've found the best way to mount it is to buy a baseball hat gopro adapter and clip it on the front edge of your hood right above your mask. IMO the included headstrap is not very useful for scuba and I wish you could just buy the light separately without the case and included junk. I only use it ~5 min during a dive and then on deco but it has done everything I've wanted so far.
I really like your idea about using the gopro hat adapter to attach it to your hood! I know a lot of divers that only use helmets/headlamps for survey work and hate helmets otherwise. That would be a great solution for them. Do you mind if I share it in the review video? Of course I'll credit you.
@@rudygraefe9512 For good reason, I've seen way too many helmet divers that leave the lights on their helmet on the entire dive. And then blind me when they look at me when we are passing. 😒 Orcatorch approached me a couple of months ago about review thing this. I noped right out of it, don't want to encourage this.
i use this light nearly every dive, admittedly i’m only doing light commercial work and recreational dives, but it does everything i’ve wanted with the exception of the flimsy mount on the light and the lack of ANYWHERE to purchase a new one after i broke it (i have been supergluing it together once a month for several months now)

@@DiveVibego for it. It’s nice for backmount and in Florida (where we kinda look down on helmets)

That sounds like a job for my 3d printer. Are you talking about the "gopro" adapter that bolts onto the light?
@@DiveVibe yes yes i am, i will happily pay you money if you could print up one and mail it my way
