Tip for Clayton with espresso machine - get a coffee scale and weigh out 18g of beans for each cup, makes it more consistent! never have the beans just sitting it the grinder cause they’ll get stale. Then use the scale to weigh the espresso coming out and it should be around 36g in 20-30 seconds!!

Looove it! Such a stunning view. But the icicles are not good - look up ice damming! It means your house is poorly insulated/other issues related to the building envelope. It means heat is escaping, melting the snow, and refreezing. This is something that leads to damage and leaking! And leaking leads to gross stuff like mold.. If you’re thinking of keeping the place long term, it is something you’ll want to fix.
