A random tip that you didn’t ask for (lol): on the shelves upstairs. It would be cool if you lined books up in one or two of the shelving units. I think that would pull everything together. Less negative space here and there if that makes sense? This house is incredible. happy for you both!

I love that Clay knows all the details! 😊 You could turn the dining table vertically and with that it would allow for a bigger rug. The light can be adjusted to be recentered above the table. I feel the bar stool seating is generally too close to the current dining table layout.

I’m so happy for you guys! The house has turned out amazing! I’m in love with all the details. The built in shelving wall with the window seat was an incredible choice. I love that upstairs has a view basically the whole way around. There’s a window facing almost every direction and I love that you are making seating to really enjoy the view because wow, you have an incredible view. I will never get over how incredible Tahoe is, one of my favorite places to visit!
Also I love the vintage door, it adds so much personality and I love what you did with the kitchen. I like that added little shelf about the stove, I imagine it being partially styled but also having like super cute spice jars up there too. Maybe there are really sleek or even like special looking ones on Etsy that would be useful but also add to the decor.
Anyways, I’m so so happy for you both. What a dream life you two are creating together !!🩷🩷🩷🩷
I love your style - You're both so knowledgeable. Lake Tahoe is such a versatile place to live with the snow and skiing in winter and life on the lake in the summer. Beautiful all year - you'll love it!

I love your new place. I love love love the flooring in the bathrooms and how you refurbish the bathroom vanities. They look very European to me. You both always make your places look very inviting and homey. Under your sofa table you can put some baskets filled with some pretty throws. Congratulations. I can't wait to see more.💜

What a dream come true! I love the flooring choices. Especially the kitchen. Curious the style/color of your curtains?!
Looks so beautiful! I’m in the middle of a remodel so all the special details really stand out to me because they’re things I’ve looked at or am doing myself. Love the devol kitchen faucet🤌🏼 the beautiful quartzite , the stove, the Penny tile cafe style floors, beautiful built-in’s, checker floors, vintage brass , solid core doors are a must and love all the companies you chose your bedding from, it really shows! I’m right there with you on choosing the right color of white paint. Its driving me crazy! I have soooooo many swatches on my walls. I keep debating if I should just cave and hire someone to just give me that reassurance. I’ve seen studio McGee use Swiss Coffee @ 75% a lot. Unfortunately it’s not something I can just go buy a sample of right off the shelf. You may not remember or know but I thought I would just ask in case you did…. Do you remember if Swiss Coffee 75% is brighter than Simply White by Benjamin Moore?
I know the standard Swiss Coffee is a little creamier than Simply White but I would love to know how the 75% SC compares to Simply White. Also did you paint your book shelves the same as the walls or did you do them 75% SC like all the trim? I was trying to tell in the video but it was hard to tell. Looks so gorgeous you guys❤

We did love the original ceiling actually! But we wanted it to feel more clean looking up there and streamline we’re happy with how brighten and open it make it feel ☺️

Beautiful! You mentioned wallpaper… Anthropology has these huge murals… They call them tapestries. Check them out! I am mildly obsessed… I have like 5 of them! I don't know how it's possible…
Some come with wood on the top and bottom, and for the other ones, I just use little brass tacks, you can't see them. They're beautiful and less commitment than wallpaper.
