Regarding the Chinese zodiac, there are actually 13 animals. in most circumstances, you don't need to give hong bao if you are not married.....anyway,I believe CNY celebration last a month in China....LOL.
In other regions/country, the celebration is less...nevertheless, most of the culture and meaning are closely related/tied regardless of geographical location. Southern part ; Guangzhou, there would be lion dances....
Thanks for the info! Yeah my thumbnail might seem misleading in that way it’s just a bit of clickbait. Everyone celebrates a bit different and events all over China and the world take place to celebrate! I wish I got to see a big city celebration with a dragon dance - but didn’t get the chance.
