Holy smokes those meals were super size large! You might need a nap after eating. Funny when in the restaurant you asked two of the boys for a smile. They did smile.😀Also the balancing rock formations were wow!
Field Trip was thrown at us (guy from MA) on the 1st day of the AT, but we accepted it a few weeks in. Drive ("you guys have no drive") and Unbreakable (from Hootowl) (persevering thru major trail injuries)...both on the AT. Chappy turned into Big Plans on the CDT (constantly talking about his next big challenge/plan...) . Hikerbox turned into Hermes (from tanktop on pct) (ran miles ahead to pass along a message abt an injured friend in sierra nevada).. Miss Frizzle (from macky on AT). was looking for new one but everyone seemed to love it and use it...by the time the PCT came we bumped into people who knew me as miss frizzle so it wasn't realistic to change/didn't really work as the name had stuck! Too late to reinvent. By the end of the cdt, I decided I should just embrace it. That's who I was known as! Typically, I get called (and use), "Frizzle" .
There is a max on the # of title characters, so that would be the reason considering we want to add other words/things to designate some of what happened that day. I thought we wrote it out on day 1, and we could add it to the thumbnail, but figured many people know it. I hope you enjoy the trail/videos!
