Precisely. There is no way she had power like grandmaster Luke. By the time Luke became grandmaster (in legacy and EU) he was so far beyond nearly every force user ever it’s absurd. He also studied all aspects of the force and encouraged his students to do so as to be prepared and learn as much as possible.
One correction: Revan did not fall due to attachment. In fact, without their love, it is likely that neither Revan nor Bastila would have been saved. It was his love for his family and friends that allowed Revan to delay the Sith Empire as long as he did, without which the tatter Republic and Jedi would surely have fallen. That said, Satele Shan is actually a really good comparison to Luke. Just like how GM Luke was basically Anakin as he should have been, Satele was very similar to Revan in many ways but was able to avoid embracing the Dark Side.
Also Swtor has some inconsistencies about Revan turning to the Dark Side. In Kotor, Revan turned because he found the threat that manipulated the Mandalorians to attack the Republic in 3961. The True Sith, they are not the Galactic Empire knock off Swtor made. But calamitous monsters that plots to destroy both the force and galaxy. Revan knew that the Jedi would be doomed to fall once these Siths showed themselves to the galaxy, since they never walk to the dark places of the galaxy, seen and felt death at a scale. That explains what Atton told the Exile in Kotor 2, "the real war was to the Jedi, and the strongest were going to win war against Revan and Malak's Empire, if Revan couldn't convert Jedi. He would kill them". Kotor explained the right reason Revan fell in the first place, he was trying to prepare the galaxy for the True Sith. In order to do that he needed to create his own Sith Empire and wage war on the republic on the Jedi by turning them to his side before the True Sith turned the Jedi into their side. Leaving captured Jedi alive was to dangerous. If Revan succeeds in his neccessary conquest of replacing the Republic into a Empire, The True Sith would not have the might to fight Jedi that relay on the Darkside.
@Gabriel and Javier Pinales You are correct. Kreia even specifically states that Revan did not "fall" to the Dark Side; he recognized that the Jedi and the Republic would be too weak after the Mandalorian Wars to face the True Sith. Satele hid much of her power. She used her abilities in the force to become one of the best straights the Jedi ever had at the cost of her saber use. She also displayed one of the few abilities that many force users didn’t have, the ability to block or soak up energy weapons. As far as I know only 5 Jedi and 1 Sith had that ability but I could be wrong on the numbers.
I always wondered if Shan, was an ancestor in some way to Shmi Skywalker. It would make a lot of sense to the power of the Skywalker's originating from a powerful lineage of Jedi/Sith.
You haven't watched star wars have you the power of the Skywalker's is unmatched simply because Anakin's father is the force itself the Skywalker's are decadents of the force so no it wouldn't make sense because Shmi isn't even force sensitive Anakin was created by the force and Luke is the grandson of the force therefore inherited Anakin's power that shan can't match

One of my fav star wars characters and she wields one of the dopest lightsabers in the history of the Canon! A lightsaber im proud to say I own from Korbanth!
Luke is the greatest failure of any Jedi Master in all of Canon; Canon Luke is just Anikan's Son, he isn't special. The only fight he won was when his Dad let him win. Luke built an academy, failed to train a single Jedi, he had a panic attack about his nephew and then his nephew destroyed his academy and students. Then Luke promptly gave up and became a hermit. Satele actually led the Jedi Order and actually defeated the ancient Sith Emperor. Luke just gave his Dad the assist.
satele wasn't even the strongest jedi in the order at that time, barsenthor for sure was a more powerful force user hence being given the title in the first place and the hero of tython is also possibly stronger, though that's in debate imo as sure they did beat the emperors new body in chapter three but the emporer was already in a weakened state due to the events of the sith warrior storyline, also I don't think Satele "won the war" as you claimed. the war came to a ceasefire due to Revan influencing the emperors mind from the maelstrom prison and once Revan was freed the war very quickly picked up again.
Satele Shan: Exists

Anyone else felt a wave of nostalgia when the name "Darth Baras" was mentioned?
THIS is a show I want to see.
One of my favorites next to Darth Traya!
I Finally have my Very First ever Lightsaber from Theory Sabers, i love Satele's Lightsaber! its soooo Beautiful!
I've played SWTOR and it's stories are amaaaazing. This game is worth playing just for the lore and story
Would love to see a worthy movie about Satele Shan.
I want Michelle Yeoh to play an older Satele 🤩 Lucy Liu would also be a good fit for middle age
This is the type of story that should be made into movies
Sorry 3:26 "She shoon" cracked me up
I always wondered if Shan, was an ancestor in some way to Shmi Skywalker.
This is funny because most of the fan base considers Satelle to be weak. Like Kit Fisto level at best
Most of the fan base thinks that Palatine beat Windu. Unfortunately they aren't always the most observant
But it's the same fanbase that overrates Nihilus and makes Palpatine incapable of making a mistake.
I really wish they would make a movie about Satele Shan.
This Jedi Master was a beast!!!
I will never forgive Disney for what they did to Star Wars. They could have taken many paths to show how awesome Luke was but they chose the worst possible path.
The Mandolarian is extremely good, not everything is bad.
@@AurioDK Andor was good too but that doesn’t forgive them. Book of Fett and obi-wan sucked donkey balls.
@@rykim514 I couldn´t get into Andor, the first episode was not to my taste, perhaps I should return and give it another go. As for the two others, they weren´t that bad, I would say they just didn´t live up to what could have been.
@@AurioDK Try Andor buddy, it starts slow but picks up, it should really be watched as 3 episode stretches from the 3rd episode onwards, they're, in my opinion the best SW media since the original trilogy.
"Extremely" is a bit of an overstatement. It was passable I guess, but eons behind the original 6 or the clone wars.
We need to see more of her
satele and darth mauls saber staff being cut is the reason why id want a detachable staff saber
She is one of My Favourite Jedi Grandmaster if she hadn't come across who would have stopped so many Sith she did so much and yes she had a Child With a Soilder so what ?
Thats where the the Jedi messed up I think as if they had family 👪 there wouldn't have been so much people walking away from Jedi x x
Fantastic Video well done mate great 👍
10:00 Pretty sure Malgus is going to escape. He makes it clear that something else is happening behind the scenes that he believes will free him.
he does escape
Could you please cover Darth Thanaton?
First I would like to say, I appreciate the videos that you make and the knowledge you share with each video that you make. If possible the content with in this video is from what as far as the visible aspect?
Awesome video, according to KOTOR timeline, Satele is the granddaughter of Bastila Shan and Revan
I would give the edge to luke but its not shocking how powerful she is considering she's the descendant of revan who is without question one of if not the greatest jedi/sith.
The only Jedi to master the power of the Hadoken!
Satele is in my top 2 faves of all time, since the day I first read about her. She’s a total BADASS!!!!
This what happens when your blood line is strong. She is a descendant of Revan
Malgus: Surrender. I just took a missile and a grenade to the face as if they were merely bug bites. What could you possibly do to defeat me?
Satele: KAMEHAMEHA!!!
Yes please it would be very informative
I have her lightsaber from Ultrasabers called The Grand Master. It's gorgeous, I love it!
Satele is defo one of my favourite characters
I would like to see a video on the life of Master Yoda.
We need a disney movie about this great galactic war ...they can ruin the post jedi age but maybe they can get the distant star wars past right
I don't think she rivaled him. Not someone like Luke Skywalker
Luke just gave his Dad the assist.
still don't like satele, she didn't make me a jedi master, i only committed like 15 war crimes
satele wasn't even the strongest jedi in the order at that time, barsenthor for sure was a more powerful force user hence being given the title in the first place and the hero of tython is also possibly stronger, though that's in debate imo as sure they did beat the emperors new body in chapter three but the emporer was already in a weakened state due to the events of the sith warrior storyline, also I don't think Satele "won the war" as you claimed. the war came to a ceasefire due to Revan influencing the emperors mind from the maelstrom prison and once Revan was freed the war very quickly picked up again.
We need to Disney do a movie or show about her!
this was awesome
