Good video! We are an active couple in our 80's and are all about healthy aging. We still strive for a healthy body, a calm mind, and a positive outlook. And we feel better than ever! We are doing research for our new RUclips channel and hope to inspire others. Learned a lot here. Thank you!
I have had a few bad years but my tips, smile, love more, laugh more, drink some wine and pet some dogs and cats! I wear very little but cream based makeup. Fabulous sunglasses and live life- I am going back to college for another degree, I take photos and I like to hike. Bien!
I like how you share things with enthusiasm, simplicity and humor! So far, you are a role model for me on how you manage your budget and buy things with consciousness yet you still manage in staying feminine and elegant. Bravo! Greetings from Lausanne 😘
Short bob wins Frederique, especially you being french. Everybody has long boring hair. After years of longish hair I have a chin length Bob. I feel much more stylish. I love it. 💇🏼♀️
Beautiful with straight or wavy hair, however on curlier textures it turns into a ball or a pyramid, sadly. Hair that swings really is cute. Props to you people.
Your hair looks good at any length but I especially like it in this video. It looks a little more carefree which matches your vibrant personality. Excellent video! Merci! ❤
Tip for looking younger: it’s all about evening out the skin, erasing shadows and sunspots. I use foundation and concealer judiciously, and color correcting powder around the eyes to brighten up. I also look younger with color on my cheeks as opposed to bronzer. In a fresh pink color. Not too much. High on the cheekbone.
I use a self tanner on my face after using a serum at night..every other night though. It adds a bit of a "healthy glow" and I use a bb cream not heavy foundation. Totally agree with you about no powder..it does take the life out of skin! Love the French idea of looking like we didn't try too hard!! Thanks again, Frederique..kisses from sunny So Cal 💋💋💋
Thanks for these, Frederique! My tip for YOU: After I read in a yoga book that combing hair when it is wet stretches and weakens the hair shafts, I started WAITING to brush my hair until it's completely dry. Immediately there was finally more hair on my head than on my floor! Now I seldom brush it at all, and it looks and feels thicker. I hope you try this and see what you think.
Excellent tips and l love that your mentioned “Wash Your Face Before Bed,”as l child my dear Grandma would tell me this and l have always done it,l have thanked her for years,💕💕
Always love your videos 💕💕 so helpful, real and down to earth. You are the reason I paint my nails now ! I was always scared to and thought I needed to get manicures but now I know how to do them myself easily 😘😘 loyal supporter of your channel, dear woman xx
I love how you laugh always, in your videos! Being joyful and light also makes you appear youthful. Positivity and a good attitude does wonders plus healthy eating, sleep and exercise. 😌🙏🏼💖Merci beau coup, Frédérique, pour tes jolies vidéos. J'aime tellement les regarder!
Fabulous video. Staying positive and smiling so important these days. My tip, when I wake up I put cotton balls soaked in cold water on my eyes for 3 minutes and the whites of my eyes look super white and wide awake. I think the longer hair looks more casual and is just as stylish as the short bob but you should always do just what makes you feel good xx
Love a short French bob. It’s my fav hairstyle. I recently cut mine into a short bob after having long hair for 4 yrs. I have fine hair but a lot of it so I get good natural volume without doing anything pretty much. I’ve recently bleached out all the black hair dye and I’m slowly transitioning to my natural grey. It’s a process so at present my hair is light auburn for now. 😳 I wear very little make up too. No foundation at all, I can’t stand the feel of it on my face. A little concealer as I am 61 and have natural dark circles due to my heritage. A little eye shadow, blush, lippy, eyeliner and of course mascara. Thanks for the tip re-no eyeliner on the bottom. 😉I always wear sunnies when outside as the glare hurts my eyes. My tip is rosehip oil, I love it, I add it to my moisturiser day and night. All my make up and skin care is cruelty free. Love your channel (said with a French accent) lol ♥️
Can we talk about how beautiful it is of you to answer almost every comment? Having over 63000 subscribers and surely mny hundreds of comments per video I admire that. That takes dedication! the love shines though. Thank you Frédérique 💖
Exactment on the powder!!!!! I went to a clinique counter and was told to use powder. Crazy NO! I agree! It sinks into any line and dries out your skin!!!!
I luv a bob or a lob - my favourite hairstyle eva. I have a bob your length and have never looked better. It makes every outfit look chic sexy and elegant! I take note of all your "French" recommendations and agree with most. Very subtle shimmer eyeshadows I still use at over 60! I also spray perfume in my cupboards and never put any garment in unless it's been washed including blazers jackets tees denims etc. even if only worn for an hour or more. I have a wonderful washing machine that can wash wool linen leather just about everything. Thank u Frederique for my favourite French tip videos
I've found the LaRoche-Posay retinols are effective, especially the eye cream. I'm also using their dark spot remover and it seems to be peeling away my brown areas. Positivity is the number one though!
I love your easy going vibe; I feel like I am listening to a friend chat. My favorite beauty tip is "Sleep on your back" this prevents face wrinkles as well as chest wrinkles.
All of what you said! Also, drinking at least eight glasses of water a day, vitamins, sun hat, sunglasses, laughing as often as possible and walking are some things that I do. I enjoyed this video immensely! Thank you!
Please keep your hair the length that it is now! I think it is very flattering!😊Love your videos-keep them coming please😊 Have a good weekend! Love from Norway🇧🇻😊
I make my own night cream with coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter and cocoa butter. I've used it for years and my skin is so hydrated. Gros bisous de Northern California!
Some advise from my dad which past years ago - a bid fat in a woman will also decrease the wrinkles. And my note if I look at women using to dark hair color which is to harsh doesn’t look good and as while getting elder skin turns grey and with that I totally agree on blush and bronzer
I keep my hair length above the shoulders. I go to gym, eat healthy (and I am very careful not to gain weight), sleep at least 7 hours/night, only use organic skincare (I am allergic to an ingredient used in conventional ones), I have microblading for my eye brows and this year I started using fillers and a little bit of botox. I am 49. :D I like your hair shorter but that's me. I wouldn't grow it below the shoulder line. And yes, brushing and flossing my teeth, rinsing the mouth and cleaning my face twice a day goes without saying. I love laughing with you and with my girlfriends. I love girls night out. Have a wonderful weekend Frederique. xoxo
Oh so right about the teeth! That and SPF! So necessary. I agree with the whole list. At 64 my eyebrows are missing, my features have faded and skin has more redness and sun damage so my priorities are a lightweight tinted moisturizer, good brow pencil and mascara, a little hint of neutral blush/bronzer with a creamy moisturizing lipstick or gloss.
OMGoodness, just discovered your channel & I just enjoy your videos so much (currently binging on them). Thank you so much for sharing! I just love your bubbly personality and humor >_
Love your tips! Your smile is your biggest asset and you always remind me that having fun and laughing are so attractive! . I see so many women over 40 and 50 who look like they just sucked a lemon (I am 57) It's hard sometimes, I know, when there are stresses and worries to deal with. I had a beautiful manicure this week, first time in 2 years. It has helped to lift my mood and feel feminine. I spend my weekends hiking and getting windswept (and muddy!) so it reminds me that I like to attend to my nails too and to love myself. Sunscreen on hands always, wrinkled hands are ageing. Shorter, jaw line length hair that looks healthy - better than thinning, straggly hair. If you are lucky and have thick hair, long hair can look youthful with the right colour. Grey can look amazing too! I do put a bit of pearly eyeshadow in the corner of my eye (nearest to the tear duct) - brightens the dark corners. No longer use eyeliner though - too harsh! Face powder a definite no-no, it settles into lines and makes me look ancient! 😄
If you don’t already use retinol, you should. It has amazing anti-aging benefits. I use one from The Ordinary and is so affordable! It really does live up to the hype. Vitamin C is also great antioxidant with many benefits for youthful skin. I came across a photo of you with short hair when I looked you up on Pinterest. You are very lucky you can wear your hair long or short xx
I always use Rimmel Hide the Blemish amazing cheap product covers so well am 53 tried tons of concealers always go back to this... apply it with a little brush after foundation before bronzer xxxx
While working as a beauty consultant our mantra for customers was..... Just as no single outfit is appropriate for all occasions, The same applies to fragrances. Seasons, events etc
Yes. Teeth are number one. Brush, floss, rinse twice a day. Use an electric brush and dental cleaning 4 times a year even if you have to pay for 2 of them. 😀
These tips are good at any age. Lancome has silver eye shadows that do no bleed or smudge. It's the only one I'd recommend but generally I agree, much better choices for daytime.
I absolutely LOVE to see some of your followers reply to you in French: it reminds me to remember all the work l did in my high school and high school and college elective classes!!! Like so many good things gs in life: "lf you don't use it.... you will lose it!"
Merci!. All good thoughts and points. I've only had my brows waxed at a salon, once. My beauty secret is: sunscreen. Secondly, some rouge and a smudged lipstick, on well conditioned lips, I adore. I prefer Chanel's Le Tendre fragrance or Prada's Eau D'Iris (in small amounts). Also, floss your teeth, and brush 3 times per day!.
I use "Beauté Pacifique" for my skincare. It's danish (like me), but really, really good. I am 60, but my skin looks much younger. I use a night anti - wrinkle creme with vitamin A, and for daytime: Serum Paradox and Creme Paradox. I can highly recommend this.
It is so important to take care of your teeth. I brush 4 times a day and have implants on my upper molers in back. I am 72 and i do not look like 72. I use eye liner in soft brown and light make up every day. 💕 Love your advice.
Pink lipstick always makes me happy and you're just another confirmation! I think I like your hair as it gets longer. When it's heavier perhaps it looks even healthier? When you "fluff" it, it swings beautifully framing your face, imo :)
Just sat down on a Sunday afternoon to watch your videos, as well great ideas and tips, definitely trying out the lipstick one. I also find that I change creams etc as the seasons change, thicker richer ones on the winter, especially in Canada !!!
Hi, I liked Your hair in this way. Your channel definitely change my life in a good way, thanks for it. Hope, that you And Oscar are doing well. Have a beautifull weekend.
I love your hair now, but I also love your short bob too! I appreciate the way you do your eye makeup - very simple... What eye pencil are you using to line your upper eyes with? I love that color on your green eyes.
I have light olive skin , chestnut hair and pale blue eyes, the only make up I use is eye brow pencil, mascara and a bit of lipstick, and of course, coco mademoiselle
Hello from Houston, TX. New Subbie! I have just discovered your videos and I love your style! I even purchased the safety pin earrings you were wearing in one of your videos that you got on Amazon, they look great and were really affordable too. I have a channel Malka Lux where I talk about all things luxury, but I totally agree that ALWAYS washing your face before bed is so important in keeping a healthy skin as you age. I would also say that wearing SPF is really good too. I look forward to your next video!
Sleep is super important once you reach a certain age and hydration. One of my tips is getting a couple of tasks done well every day, but not squeezing as much as I can every day. It leads to exhaustion. I’m thinking about seeing a dermatologist next January to see what they can do about my sun spots!
I LoVe your videos! So fun! I liked the lizard story. 😃 I like the look of your current cut. I like the super short chic bob too. 🤷🏻♀️ The perfume in the wardrobe idea is fab! Here’s a small tip: the ring finger is the weakest finger we have so it’s a good one to use under the eye because it’ll tug less...?
Very cute and symphatic you put the perfume on the clothes in the closet. I like to do the same. I am addicted to perfumes and in these still lasting crazy days I sometimes spray my mask to breath that beauty smell 😷 i am crazy... when I vacuum I spray a little bit of perfume on the filter. I love it 😁
I love your videos Frederique! I t's funny I watched an American video about Parisian style (!?!) and she said " Parisian women don't wear much make up, just mascara and a bright red lipstick" And I thought I think Parisian women want to LOOK as if they aren't wearing much make up- and that often takes quite a bit of make up. I love hearing you talk about perfume, I have always preferred French perfumes since I was a teen. But there are now some fine non-French perfumes.
Great beauty tips! Mine are: I drink organic electrolyte water (Earth's Best brand in the U.S.). This helps my skin a lot. In the winter especially I drink one bottle (3 servings) per week or more. I don't drink anything out of a straw to avoid lip wrinkles.
Your hair looks great... even perhaps a bit shorter? It’s your choice after all... my eyebrows are the worst, thank god for makeup I say! I love your videos! You are so dang funny! Love you , you crazy French woman!!! You are charming and have a great personality!!! You just make me happy! You’re a very beautiful person and always make me feel better after I see your videos!!! Love and health to you from Santa Barbara, Ca. Keep laughing!!❤️❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😘🥰🤪🙋‼️
I bought the Trinny & Susannah books years ago - they're excellent especially the one about body shape. I didn't know about the new makeup range. Looks good
Are your lips natural? What do you think of fillers and Botox? Fully agree with your comment about not totally dismissing surgery when we are over 50 especially 🤣
@@tallisinwonderland4724 👍 I will search. Maybe she will reply in a video as it seems I am not the only one. I am also European and love natural looks but absolutely not against.

hahaha thank you Maya l'abeille :) xx
I use a eye shadow powder on a narrow slanted brush to line my eyes with a tiny wing just in powder. It is softer than an eyeliner
It does work well doesn't it?
I do the same !
I do that too! Much softer effect
I have recently found your channel about a week ago and immediately subscribed. You are a breath of fresh air.
woohoo welcome sweetie ❤️
The best thing of your videos is that you don't take yourself too seriously.
Love from Maastricht, Pays-Bas.
Merci Kaatje xxx kus kus
Yes! Perfume!!! As a perfume lover this is THE one thing I can't live without. I also love Coco Noir !
I wear only Chanel and Coco Mademoiselle. It's worth the price!!!
Short bob wins Frederique, especially you being french. Everybody has long boring hair. After years of longish hair I have a chin length Bob. I feel much more stylish. I love it. 💇🏼♀️
I agree Emma !

In the UK we used to get a "scale and polish" free as part of an ordinary check up. Now they just try to sell us an expensive whitening treatment.
These tips are good at any age. Lancome has silver eye shadows that do no bleed or smudge. It's the only one I'd recommend but generally I agree, much better choices for daytime.

Hi! What is that huge brush you use for your bronzer? I've been looking for one but cannot find it. Thsnk you!
its from ELF kakubi brush
Apricot kernal oil with a touch of color mixed in is my only foundation.
Fre’de’rique I love your channel. I use ROC eye cream. It’s magical!! Try it. I swear it erases wrinkles and even lifts.
yes I have to try
Coucou Frédérique, thank you for all your advices and for your humour ! you remind me of Teri Hatcher, the actress of desperate housewives
I have thin hair too, and a bob works best. Very helpful tips. ❤️
You are welcome 🙏
Sleep is super important once you reach a certain age and hydration. One of my tips is getting a couple of tasks done well every day, but not squeezing as much as I can every day. It leads to exhaustion. I’m thinking about seeing a dermatologist next January to see what they can do about my sun spots!
me too!
Please make a video on sun spots. Nothing seems to work!
Great vid! Like your hair, liked it a bit shorter, so chic! Xx
I love it 😁
love it xxx
Thank you for the great tips - very helpful! You look amazing, so they clearly work!
merci xxx
I spray my clothes closet with my parfum, as well! 😀
yeah baby!
a better way is to spray a warm light bulb - scents the whole room
Love your channel! Newly subscribed 😊
Bonjour, je suis allemand et je vis en France, j'adore votre vidéo
Merci 🙏
I love your videos Frederique! I t's funny I watched an American video about Parisian style (!?!) and she said " Parisian women don't wear much make up, just mascara and a bright red lipstick" And I thought I think Parisian women want to LOOK as if they aren't wearing much make up- and that often takes quite a bit of make up.
I love hearing you talk about perfume, I have always preferred French perfumes since I was a teen. But there are now some fine non-French perfumes.
Fabulous ❤️
Great beauty tips!
Mine are:
I drink organic electrolyte water (Earth's Best brand in the U.S.). This helps my skin a lot. In the winter especially I drink one bottle (3 servings) per week or more.
I don't drink anything out of a straw to avoid lip wrinkles.
wow good to know cheers
Fresh air
Organic food
Plenty of water 💦
Be positive....
yes ❤️
Your hair looks great... even perhaps a bit shorter? It’s your choice after all... my eyebrows are the worst, thank god for makeup I say! I love your videos! You are so dang funny! Love you , you crazy French woman!!! You are charming and have a great personality!!! You just make me happy! You’re a very beautiful person and always make me feel better after I see your videos!!! Love and health to you from Santa Barbara, Ca. Keep laughing!!❤️❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😘🥰🤪🙋‼️
will do thank you Sue xxx
Do you know Trinny London. Looks as so it’s a very easy and good make up.
yes
I love Trinny. I watch her videos all the time
I bought the Trinny & Susannah books years ago - they're excellent especially the one about body shape. I didn't know about the new makeup range. Looks good
Are your lips natural? What do you think of fillers and Botox? Fully agree with your comment about not totally dismissing surgery when we are over 50 especially 🤣
She’s said before no fillers or Botox, she’s not a fan she’s all natural
@@tallisinwonderland4724 Thank you; do you remember which video she talked about those? I really wish to watch it.
I think it may have been one along the lines of being classy or something French women don’t do
@@tallisinwonderland4724 👍 I will search. Maybe she will reply in a video as it seems I am not the only one. I am also European and love natural looks but absolutely not against.
@@Nina-dp3gx me neither. Cosmetic treatments are so popular here in England, I think when done well they can really boost self esteem
Love your videos x x
